background-cover is an Amarok script that displays the album cover, track information.

Optionally the embedded track image on the kde desktop background, and changes the background at each track change.

xdesktopwaves is a cellular automata which sets the background of an X11 desktop as if it were under water.

Window and mouse movements cause ripples on the desktop like ships on the sea. You can also simulate rain or a storm stirring up the water.

Desktop Gmail is a superkaramba theme which uses wget to read the rss feed for your Gmail inbox and displays it on a GUI. It displays upto twenty latest messages(five at a time) as well as the no. of total unread messages.

It shows the name of the author of the mail as well as the subject of the mail. On hovering over the name, a tooltip containing the authors email id is displayed and when hovered over the subject, the summary of the body is shown.

This theme displays upto 20 latest messages from your Gmail inbox(5 at a time), the authors of the message and the no. of unread messages.

On hovering over the name, the email id is displayed and on hovering over subject, a summary of the body is displayed.

Open gmail.py and enter your username and password.(see readme for details).

k5n Desktop Calendar (k5nCal, for short) application is a calendar application for your desktop. It shares features with applications like Apple iCal and Microsoft Outlook, but it is open source.
This project is built upon Java Calendar Tools, and all data is stored in RFC 2445 iCalendar format.

FOX Desktop is a lightweight desktop environment based on the FOX Toolkit.
