The Hunted is a single player FPS game based off of the Darkplaces engine. It is completely standalone, meaning that you do not need any prior files to run it, and it comes in a series called chronicles.
These chronicles are used for having a continuously flowing story and a difference in weaponry and in other things found in-game.
Each chronicle tells the story of a lone survivor escaping the city that has been overcome by the infected.
The symptoms of the infected at the time of the survivors adventure are not clear but as the chronicles are released, the story unfolds to make it quite clear as to why, where, when, and how this survivor came to be in a horror show such as this.
Main features:
- Completely recreated zombie and zombie code. Much more "realistic" in attack, range, and response time.
- Added random skin generator so zombies will be wearing different attire no matter how many times you play a map
- Added "Use" key, used to pick up boxes and move them to get to previously unattainable areas
- Added "story driven comics" used to help further the story and gives hints on puzzles
- Added all new weapon models
- Added fully functionable "secondary attack" (zoom with Mercs Gun, large swing with meathook)
- Added zombie footsteps
- FIXED**bug where zombies faking dead on ground would still block a players way
- FIXED**HUD/glock-pistol ammo malfunctions
- Added place_model attributes to have spatialization options and other effects to create global audio ambience and better effects using DarkPlaces extensions
- Added muzzleflash
- Added flashlight
- Added multiple new enemies

Clean And Close is a Firefox extension that replaces the Clean Up button in your Download Manager window with a Clean And Close button that does just that - cleans completed, canceled and failed downloads from the download list and then closes the window.

Naughts and Crosses a simple tic-tac-toe game - with a twist.

This is a simple tic-tac-toe game, written in C++ for the console. Its a very simple affair, and only suited to the odd five minutes, but has a fully functional one-player mode (which I have tried to make neither too easy nor too hard) and offers the ability to modify the board size.

get_iat and iat_cmp are two small programs to extract and to very basic analysis of packet inter arrival times (unfortunaly often wrongly called inter packet gaps) in a pcap network trace.

- get_iat just reads one pcap files an outputs the inter arrival time and the time
difference between this packet and the first one for all packets

- iat_cmp compares several pcap files and checks how much their inter arrival
times differ. This "compare" is done by sorting the inter arrival time
difference into buckets. Currently the buckets must be configured by hand
in the source code.

BEWARE: these programs have not been tested very exensively. So expect
crashes.

Installation:

Requires GNU make (gmake)
Edit the Makefile and change the path to your libpcap installation.

Decrypt and Extract Here Service Menu installs a service menu for Konqueror that decrypts and extracts the contents of encrypted tarballs.

Once install, a "Decrypt and Extract Here" entry is added to the Actions context menu in Konqueror. This entry will only appear for the file extensions defined in pgp-tarball.desktop. The following extensions are defined:

*.tar.gz.asc
*.tar.gz.gpg
*.tar.gz.pgp
*.tgz.asc
*.tgz.gpg
*.tgz.pgp

Currently only gzip compressed tar archives are supported. If there is a demand, other compression types (e.g. bzip2, zip, etc.) can be easily added. Simply email the athour and make the request.

Additionally, this RPM will modify the kgpg.desktop file by adding "application/pgp-tarball" to the MimeType entry. This allows encrypted tar archives to be opened by Kgpg (just like any other encrypted file would be).

Gaim Video and Voice Support is a friendly fork of the gaim project to concentrate on video and voice support, which will eventually be backported.

The Bait and Switch Honeypot is a multifaceted attempt to take honeypots out of the shadows of the network security model and to make them an active participant in system defense.
To do this, we are creating a system that reacts to hostile intrusion attempts by redirecting all hostile traffic to a honeypot that is partially mirroring your production system. Once switched, the would-be hacker is unknowingly attacking your honeypot instead of the real data and your clients and/or users still safely accessing the real system.
Life goes on, your data is safe, and you are learning about the bad guy as an added benefit. The system is based on snort, linuxs iproute2, netfilter, and custom code for now.
We have plans on adding additional support in the future if possible.
Enhancements:
- So its beta release day. The final package is up, but largely unannounced. Ive cleaned up the few bugs I knew about, added the blacklisting feature, tested and added features to electr0ns config script, and updated the documentation to the point where I think its very useable and easy to understand.
