dc-qt 0.2.0 Alpha
Dc-qt is a C++/Qt/STL front-end for the linux DirectConnect client DCTC. more>>
dc-qt is a graphical user interface for a direct connect client called DCTC which is available for Linux and other flavours of UNIX. As the name suggests, it is written using Qt. dc-qt is currently under development and should be considered beta software. dc-qt project is already quite usable, though.
The important features of DCTC are supported (except for virtual share -- we will never support that). Some included features are completely unrelated to DCTC, but are useful and convenient in your day-to-day file sharing activities. Exactly what is implemented and not is for us to know and you to find out (and wish for); the feature list changes quickly.

Open DC Hub 0.7.14
Open DC hub is a Unix/Linux version of the hub software for the Direct Connect network. more>>
Open DC hub is a Unix/Linux version of the hub software for the Direct Connect network. Direct Connect is a file sharing network made up by hubs, to which clients can connect.
Once connected to a hub, the user can search for files on the hub or the network, or browse files of other users connected to the hub.
Main features:
- Searching for files
- Connecting to users, both in active and passive mode
- Messaging in open chat
- Private messaging
- Registering users
- Kicking users (for OP:s)
- Banning users (for Admins)
- Uploading hub address and description to public hub list
- Hublinking, which makes it possible to search on other hubs connected to the network
- Administration of the hub from chat
- Scripting (In Perl)
The hub is run as a daemon, i.e, it runs in the background. Its administrated through a tcp connection, for example with telnet, which makes it possible to administer remotely, given that the user has the administration password. Its also possible to administer the hub directly from the chat in Direct Connect.
The software should run on all POSIX compliant operating systems, but the main testing has so far been done on GNU/Linux-x86 and Solaris-Ultrasparc. Please tell me if you fail or succeed in running it on other platforms.

DConnect Daemon 1.1.0
DConnect Daemon is a daemon that acts as a Direct Connect hub. more>>
DConnect Daemon is a Direct Connects hub working as daemon. It works currently under linux and FreeBSD, but we want to make them work on all Unixes (and under Windows).
DConnect Daemon works as a daemon in background and does not require any Xwindow system. Everything should work without any maintenance, but with possible runtime manipulations.
Main features:
- written in pure C
- utilizes threads - allow to work faster on SMP mashines
- good and strict protocol implementation - as far as we know it...
- access limitation through libwrap
- telnet administration console and traditional with DC client
- flexible configuration
Enhancements:
- Because full support for syslog is included, the old way of logging to files was removed.
- Switch to syslog-ng is recommended as it will make your logs cleaner.
- Silent mode is now switched on so it is impossible to redirect users who should not have access to the service you provide.

bc 1.06
bc is an arbitrary precision calculator language. more>>
bc is an arbitrary precision numeric processing language. Syntax is similar to C, but differs in many substantial areas. It supports interactive execution of statements. bc is a utility included in the POSIX P1003.2/D11 draft standard.
Since the POSIX document does not specify how bc must be implemented, this version does not use the historical method of having bc be a compiler for the dc calculator.
This version has a single executable that both compiles the language and runs the resulting `byte code. The byte code is not the dc language.

Dolda Connect 0.4
Dolda Connect is a modular P2P filesharing client built around the Direct Connect model. more>>
Dolda Connect is a modular P2P filesharing client built around the Direct Connect model. It supports most of the latest features of the DC protocol.
It runs in client/server mode with a well defined protocol, allowing extensibility, flexibility, and multiple detachable user interfaces. Dolda Connect also has an optional multi-user mode.
For the average user, this yields two primary advantages:
- The daemon can be made to run on another computer, which can be on all the time (a server, if you will), while the user interface can run on the users workstation. That way, the user can turn off his workstation at night, while the server will continue all transfers in progress during that time.
- A user can control his daemon from another location, such as from work, school, a friend, etc.
This architecture also has many other advantages in store for the more advanced users; since the user interface communicates with the daemon using a well-defined protocol, other user interfaces can be written, such as an automatic downloader, a chatbot, etc. It is also designed for secure multiuser operation.
Enhancements:
- A GUI configurator tool was added.
- Portability issues were fixed so that it works on AMD64 now.
- The documentation was improved.
- The usual slew of minor bugs were fixed.

ADISS 1.1
ADISS is a simple tool to automated the generation of Subversion AuthzSVNAccessFiles. more>>
ADISS project is a simple tool to automated the generation of Subversion AuthzSVNAccessFiles.
The simple web interface allows the administrator to define the repostirory paths, the full path to the AuthzSVNAccessFile and the LDAP filter for the Active Directory group that will be used to control access.
The script adiss_batch.php (run via a cron job or scheduled task you create at the interval you define)
Technology - Apache, mySQL, PHP. Written and tested on Linux by should work on other operating systems. Uses PHP_LDAP and PHP_MYSQL.
Installation:
Obtain and extract the tarball to a location under your web servers root directory, for example:
cd /var/www/html
tar -zxvf adiss-0.90.tgz
Rename the directory if so desired:
mv adiss-x.xX adiss
Set permissions on the directory so that the account your web server runs as has permissions to the files:
chown -R apache:apache adiss
Create the database:
cd adiss
mysql
create database adiss;
grant SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE on adiss.* to adiss@localhost identified by password;
flush privileges;
quit
mysql adiss < create_tables.sql
Modify the config.in.php file to match your environment.
$db_host = "localhost";
$db_name = "adiss";
$db_user = "adiss";
$db_pass = "password"; # from create database section above
$ldap_server = "adserver.domain.com"; # The GC or AD server
$ldap_server_port = "3268"; # Use port 389 if youd are using a DC, I prefer to use port 3268 on the Global Catalog server
$bind_user = "adiss@domain.com";
$bind_pass = "password";
$base_dn = "DC=domain, DC=com";
You should secure this site unless you are OK with anyone manaing your settings (not recommended). The application is really intended as an intranet only applicaiton, expose this to the Internet at YOUR OWN RISK.
Here is an example of an Apache configuration file (to be placed in /etc/httpd/conf.d or other server specific location) to secure this site. Obviously you will need to customize this for your site/environment:
< Directory /var/www/html/adiss >
AuthType Basic
AuthName "DOMAINNAME"
AuthLDAPURL ldap://server.domain.com:3268/DC=domain,DC=com?
samAccountName?sub?(objectCategory=person)
AuthLDAPBindDN DOMAINadiss
AuthLDAPBindPassword password
Require valid-user
# If you want to be more specific you could use the line below
Require user username1 username2
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride All
order allow,deny
allow from all
< /Directory >
Restart Apache after adding the above (service httpd restart or other server specific command).
Launch a browser and visit the URL http://yourhost/adiss
Enhancements:
- Incorporated bug fix for end of line in pre and post commit edit procedures.
- Fixed a typo in the HTML page title.
- Added ability to define a read-only group on a per project/repository basis in addition to the read-write group.

B::C 5.8.8
B::C is Perl compilers C backend. more>>
B::C is Perl compilers C backend.
SYNOPSIS
perl -MO=C[,OPTIONS] foo.pl
This compiler backend takes Perl source and generates C source code corresponding to the internal structures that perl uses to run your program. When the generated C source is compiled and run, it cuts out the time which perl would have taken to load and parse your program into its internal semi-compiled form. That means that compiling with this backend will not help improve the runtime execution speed of your program but may improve the start-up time. Depending on the environment in which your program runs this may be either a help or a hindrance.
OPTIONS
If there are any non-option arguments, they are taken to be names of objects to be saved (probably doesnt work properly yet). Without extra arguments, it saves the main program.
-ofilename
Output to filename instead of STDOUT
-v
Verbose compilation (currently gives a few compilation statistics).
--
Force end of options
-uPackname
Force apparently unused subs from package Packname to be compiled. This allows programs to use eval "foo()" even when sub foo is never seen to be used at compile time. The down side is that any subs which really are never used also have code generated. This option is necessary, for example, if you have a signal handler foo which you initialise with $SIG{BAR} = "foo". A better fix, though, is just to change it to $SIG{BAR} = &foo. You can have multiple -u options. The compiler tries to figure out which packages may possibly have subs in which need compiling but the current version doesnt do it very well. In particular, it is confused by nested packages (i.e. of the form A::B) where package A does not contain any subs.
-D
Debug options (concatenated or separate flags like perl -D).
-Do
OPs, prints each OP as its processed
-Dc
COPs, prints COPs as processed (incl. file & line num)
-DA
prints AV information on saving
-DC
prints CV information on saving
-DM
prints MAGIC information on saving
-f
Force options/optimisations on or off one at a time. You can explicitly disable an option using -fno-option. All options default to disabled.
-fcog
Copy-on-grow: PVs declared and initialised statically.
-fsave-data
Save package::DATA filehandles ( only available with PerlIO ).
-fppaddr
Optimize the initialization of op_ppaddr.
-fwarn-sv
Optimize the initialization of cop_warnings.
-fuse-script-name
Use the script name instead of the program name as $0.
-fsave-sig-hash
Save compile-time modifications to the %SIG hash.
-On
Optimisation level (n = 0, 1, 2, ...). -O means -O1.
-O0
Disable all optimizations.
-O1
Enable -fcog.
-O2
Enable -fppaddr, -fwarn-sv.
-llimit
Some C compilers impose an arbitrary limit on the length of string constants (e.g. 2048 characters for Microsoft Visual C++). The -llimit options tells the C backend not to generate string literals exceeding that limit.

Qucs 0.0.12
Qucs is a Qt universal circuit simulator. more>>
Qucs project is going to be an integrated circuit simulator which means you will be able to setup a circuit with a graphical user interface (GUI) and simulate the large-signal, small-signal and noise behaviour of the circuit. After that simulation has finished you can present the simulation results on a presentation page or window.
- Qucs, briefly for Qt Universal Circuit Simulator, is a circuit simulator with graphical user interface. The software aims to support all kinds of circuit simulation types, e.g. DC, AC, S-parameter, harmonic balance analysis, noise analysis, etc.
- Qucsator, the simulation backend, is a command line circuit simulator. It takes a network list in a certain format as input and outputs a Qucs dataset. It has been programmed for usage in the Qucs project but may also be used by other applications.
For people who are familiar with such simulators they should remember ADS from Agilent Technologies, Microwave Office from AWR and all the other simulators.
Enhancements:
- This release comes with a translation into Ukrainian, a selectable preprocessor in the SPICE component, and two new components (exponential voltage and current source).
- Libraries can now contain analogue as well as digital subcircuits.
- Analogue modelling is substantially strengthened by symbolically defined devices.
- The list of available functions in the equation solver has been extended to support more functions, logical and rational operators, and the ternary ?: construct.
- Pure digital simulations can be also performed by Verilog-HDL as an alternative to VHDL.

How can I use DSHub ?
You can download DSHub from this site and just use it. DSHub is free and every user can take it for himself. You can also redistribute it and you can modify it ( substantially only) under the terms of GNU General Public License. Right click here to download . DSHub comes in zip archive.
DShub is now Open Source and source for current binaries is available here.
How do I install DSHub ?
DSHub is a software created in Java Language developed by Sun. For it to run you need JRE installed. [ That is, Java Runtime Environment]. JRE can be found on http://java.sun.com/ . DSHub requires the least JRE version 1.5.0.0 to run properly. After that just create a folder for your hub and paste the DSHub.jar file downloaded from this site in there.
How do I use DSHub ?
Either you read manual, or after you got your DSHub installed, you can run it from command line by using the command:
path_to_java_exe -jar path_to_DSHub.jar
Linux Example:
java -jar /home/user/myhub/dshub.jar

- created a command cmdhistory that pastes given commands since startup;
- added drop command , a kick with no reason and 0 ban time;
Kick Command:
- Kicking in DSHub is very simple now.
- Classic kick:
kicks just a user out in flames, with a kick_time temporary ban, default 5 minutes.
- Extended kick has way more advantages and can be used very efficiently with a large hub.
- Extended kick features:
- Kicking users that match a certain regular expression:
- Example: !kick [RO].* -- this command kicks all users that have their nick starting with [RO]
- Example: !kick .. --this command kicks all users with 2 letter nicks
- This type of kick accepts just any regular expression.
- Kicking users that have their fields checked:
- Example: !kick share, < , =, !
- And a list of possible fields : share, sl (slots), ni (nick length),su(supports, accepts only = or !, example: !kick su=tcp4),hn(normal hubs count),hr(registered hub count),ho(op hub count),aw(away, 1 means normal away, 2 means extended away),rg (1- registered, 0 otherwise, registered means not op),op ( 1 -op, 0 - otherwise , op means it has key).
- created a kick and ban function for easy call from commands;
- done almost all that kick stuff, for share slots and su, still need to do for rest;
- added a debug message, please ignore, or if you figure it out, report to me;
- modified share kick, to be in megabytes;
- completed kick with all mentioned above in the log;
- fixed bug on new kick, forgot to check if kick_ops is enabled;
- added same features to drop command as well;
- added extra fields to reg class so OLD regs DONT WORK anymore sorry so please REREG;
- modified reg command, now if user already added prints user info;
- added a getRegInfo method, also added extra fields on info and reg;
- added hideme command that toggles the hideme, also hideme is remembered in reg file;
- fixed bug when restarting and changing default port;
- fixed bug when opchat could have same nick as other users;
- fixed exploit when cmdhistory could see the !password;
- fixed bug with renaming into a CID or IP and not repsecting sizes;
Whats New in Zeta RC12 Development Release:
- Completely changed string parsing hope its better now.
