Chaotic Domain project is a combination of all strategy games with a new look on steroids.
Chaotic Domain aims to revolutionize the RTS industry. Made up a team of "elite gamers" (not to mention great programmers and 3D modelers) were combining the greatest features we like in other strategy games, fixes for some of the "annoying" parts of those games, and many new ideas of our own.
With a full 3D galaxy that allows you to micro- or macro-manage and very customizable games, it should appeal to every user.

DB_DataContainer is a PEAR compliant database persistence layer and data encapsulation class. A persistence layer can encapsulate the behaviour needed to make objects persistent like for exemple: to load, save and delete objects to and from persistent storage. Currently the only supported persistence mechanisms are relational databases. Database abstraction is provided by PEAR DB.
Data encapsulation is provided by overloaded accessor methods. This means that if you have a property named $foo and you do not write getFoo() and setFoo() methods in the extending class yourself, they will be automatically provided by DB_DataContainer.
As a result of the provided persistence mechanism and data encapsulation DB_DataContainer together with few lines of extra code can be used to implement the Active Record Pattern as described by Martin Fowler:
An object that wraps a row in a database table or view, encapsulates the database access, and adds domain logic on that data.
The class does not use any external configuration files. The extending class itself IS the configuration. All you need to take care about is to have matching propertyname - columname pairs in the class and the database table.
If your database schema changes, for example you add an column foo to the table, all you need to do is to add a property name foo to your class which extends DB_DataContainer. There is no need to rewrite any internal SQL queries.
The class does not provide direct support for JOIN:s or table linking. For extreme cases it is still possible to pass hardcoded SQL queries. This usage is discouraged since it breaks the basic idea of using DB_DataContainer.

OpenDomains is a Web application that will help you provide a domain redirection service. It is easy to install and use. It allows other people to register for subdomains in your own domain.

The subdomain will then redirect visitors to a site of the users choice. OpenDomains features URL cloaking, path forwarding, meta tag support, and detailed statistics.

DOG Data Organizer provides a bookmark organizer for various bookmark types.

DOG is a personal knowledge manager based on topic maps. It currently specializes in managing bookmarks.

It imports and exports Netscape, Mozilla, and KDE2 (XBEL) bookmark files, and it imports KDE1 bookmarks and Windows IE Favorites.

How do you build a web application without data? Suppose it has many pages, including forms and pages for display. Until theyre developed, users cant enter information. Mock data has to be provided to the application, to test the interaction between screens, business logic, and database.
It may take a good amount of effort to create a mock dataset large and complex enough to mimic real world situations. For example, it is not unusual for an application to be supported by a database schema with hundreds of tables, each with many columns and many foreign key relationships. The database may have millions of rows of data. Datatypes include integer, floating precision, datetime, and string. There are a wide range of values, and they are dependent on each other in ways that must satisfy the business requirements.
Mock data is useful at various points in development. It can be used with an HTTP test client, to simulate the responses a user makes at the front end. It can be inserted directly into the database, to test the database access layer. It can replace the database layer, and be provided directly to the business logic implementation.
It might be nice if the datasets at these different stages come from the same pool, so that their values represent the same underlying model. It would be nice if this model could be constructed once, and then the presentation of the data tailored for the stage at which its used.
Often a great deal of effort is spent reducing the worlds objects into a compact object model. Datamixer goes the other way: it takes a conceptual object model, and explodes it back into a diversity of objects. It tries to make this diversity easy to manage, through configuration and customization. It interacts with data repositories, and is able to mix and merge mock values with real ones. The aim is to make it easy to create the data, so that time can be spent on the data model.
Datamixer does not attempt to analyze a problem domain, in order to generate data that does a better job at testing the domain. It could be driven by a tool that does that kind of analysis.
Installation:
To install, simply unzip or unjar the distribution package to a directory of your choice. A distribution has these directories:
- The data directory has files with samples of commonly used data, such as names. It is intended to grow.
- The doc directory has documentation.
- The examples directory has example Java source and XML configuration scripts. Apache Ant is used to run these examples: type ant build
- The lib directory has all jars required by the application.

Web Domain Manager is a PHP based product to add in a new domain to a server, by just filling out the domain name and putting in the ip, username, and password it will setup the new domain on the server by doing the following:
- Adding the config to Apache
- Adding a new user to the system for FTP Access
- Copying over a default site if you have one available
- Adding the domain into Qmail/vpopmail if you want that setup
- Makes the config file for awstats
- Also makes a file you can add into cron to update awstats automaticly
- Restarts apache with the new config
- Runs from cron every minute to make adding the domains near real time
The Script is made up of two parts, the backend script (AddDomainScript-0.05) which runs from cron every minute and adds any new domains that need added.
And then you need a front end script, I am going to have three of them, One for a administrator, One for a Reseller, and one where a customer could signup on your website.
If you have more than one webserver you just need a copy of the backend script running from each of those servers and it will check a central database for the updates so you can control an unlimited amount of server from just one frontend script, so administrating your servers is all done from one page!
