Used Textbook Database provides a database for listing used textbooks.

Used Textbook Database is a Web-based textbook database that lets users to create an account and list their used textbooks or books.

It is very modular and customizable and allows for easy integration into an existing Web site.

Having worked with IP Filter on Solaris for a few years now, when I work on IP Tables in Linux I come to miss State Top. So I decided to write a version for IP Tables. IPTState is a state top along with a "single run" mode to quickly display states once. IP Tables State has customizable sorting (including reverse), customizable refresh rates, etc. etc. See the README, the man page and the -h option for details.

IPTState is now in the Debian, Redhat, Fedora Core, Mandrake, Gentoo, FloppyFW, and Devil Linux distributions as well as the pkgsrc project.

My Calendar is a lightweight, easy-to-use Web calendar that is easily customizable using CSS.
There is also an included email script that you can have cron run every day to remind you of upcoming appointments.
My Calendar can also generate great looking printable calendars in Postscript and Adobe PDF format. Microsoft Outlook schedules can be easily imported.

SimBar project is a fast and customizable dockbar for Linux.

SimBar is a fast and customizable dockbar. Allows the user to launch applications showing some eye-candy animation. It is written in c++ and wxWidgets and fits well in Gnome but works on most desktop environments. Does not require Compiz nor 3D acceleration.

Golem is a lightweight, fast window manager for X11 which is very customizable.
Golems development has stagnated for a while and Jordan has given the project to Bruce Ashfield. Bruce is currently working on a new release which will have some existing patches applied.

PyCalendarGen generates customizable calendar pages in PDF format for use in things like photo calendars.

PyCalendarGen supports custom holidays, birthdays, and other special days and has decent internationalization.

Installation:

Just unpack the archive somewhere useful, and run PyCalendarGen.py from the installation directory (so it will find the fonts).

Clearbox is a customizable theme for the Metacity Window Manager.
A small GTK application allow configure the differents theme aspects, preview the theme and save it in the user themes folder.
The options that can be configured in the Clearbox theme are the following ones:
