Free current software for linux

Current project is an open source implementation of a server to interact with the Up2date Agent shipped in Red Hat Linux.
Everything is implemented for a basic, anonymous only system. We are working to extend support for non-anonymous (fully managed) setups.
Main features:
- Production quality Up2date server for 2.7 to 4.4 clients with a Fedora Core 1, 2, 3, 4, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3, or 4 server.
- Full SQL database backend.
- Web Interface in the devel series.
- As easy to setup for the admin as we can make it.
Enhancements:
- This version fixes errors in the channel scan code path that was nonfunctional in 1.7.5.
- This also includes code to reconnect to MySQL databases when the connection times out.
- The database also collects a bit more meta information about each client, and that is displayed in the TG web interface.

Nokjurnal is a simple blog written in object-oriented Perl with HTML::Mason templating.

It is written in the spirit of blosxom, and in its current state is exceedingly simple.

Xfce 4 Cpufreq Plugin shows in the Xfce Panel the following, chooseable informations:
- current CPU frequency
- current used governor
In a seperate dialog it provides you following informations of all available informations:
- all available CPU frequencies
- all available governors
- used driver for the cpu
Usage:
Using the plugin is quite simple. You select the cpu which you want to monitor in the Xfce Panel. Next thing you could change is the timeout interval how often the informations have to be updated. A good value is 1,0 which means 100 ms.
You can also specify which informations should be displayed in the panel.

Contrast Mask adds a Contrast Mask layer to the current image - useful for heightening the contrast in photographs that are over- or under-exposed, or those with extreme dynamic ranges.

Takes two arguments, blur radius and layer opacity.

Raidmonitor monitors your linux raid devices (/proc/mdstat). It can send you a mail when something goes wrong, or show the current status in a window.

Raidmonitor is built using pccts for the parser generation and gtkmm for the GUI.

clip2png is a native java utility that easily saves your current clipboard image (or screen image) to a PNG image file on your desktop.
