CreditCruncher computes the Value At Risk (VAR) of large credit portfolios using the Monte Carlo method.
CreditCruncher is a command line solver that read an xml input file and returns a plain text file with the simulated values of portfolio. The current version is 0.8. This software is released under the GNU General Public License.
CreditCruncher is designed to work in batch mode, without graphical support. Computation time can be reduced enabling the MPI instructions when compiling and deploying the application in a cluster.
The user create a xml file where the portfolio is described. CreditCruncher take this file and simulate N times the portfolio described in the input file. The simulated values are stored in a file with extension .out. Finally, a R script takes the simulated values and do some statistic over there to generate the risk indicators (VaR, TCE, etc.)

- Modified asset losses computation algorithm

CreditCard Validator - The CreditCard Validator will help you tell:

It is a simple Applet to demonstrate the use of the ValidateCreditCard class.
It validates the prefix and the checkdigit. It does *not* contact the credit card company to ensure that number has actually been issued and that the account is in good standing.
It will also tell you which of the following credit card companies issued the card: Amex, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, Discover, enRoute, JCB, MasterCard or Visa.
ATM cards use a different secret scheme which this program does not handle. Unfortunately, there is not even a reliable way to tell an ATM card from a credit card just by the number.
It is primarily designed to be included in your own Java program, though it can be used standalone or as an Applet.
To install, Extract the zip download with Winzip, available from http://www.winzip.com (or similar unzip utility) into any directory you please, often C: -- ticking off the (user folder names) option. To run as an application, type:
java -jar C:commindprodcreditcardcreditcard.jar
adjusting as necessary to account for where the jar file is.
You must have Java version 1.1 or later installed to use this package.

Aqua_Project is a complete system set for KDE. I have assembled this set from icons by Everaldo, Louie Mantia and me. I used Louie Mantias mimetype and folder icons as a template.
I created this set because there are no iconsets for KDE that I find completely polished. I hope everyone enjoys this set and I give all credit to the great artists who made most of these icons.
To install this set:
1. download the zip file
2. extraxt the zip file
3. cd into the Aqua_Crystal folder
4. open a terminal there
5. run ./buildset
6. get a beer
7. Install the icon theme in KDE Control Panel
8. Enjoy

- Added Baghira sidebar icons
- Added choice of Trash icons...before building set go to the filesystems folder, rename trashcan_empty to trashcan_empty1, rename trashcan_full to trashcan_full1, pick the Trashcan set you like and remove the number from the name then run ./buildset

CitrusDB is a Web-based customer database application that uses PHP and a database backend to keep track of customer information more>>
CitrusDB is an open source customer database application that uses PHP and a database back-end (currently MySQL).
This software can keep track of customer information, CRM, services, products, billing, and customer service information. The program will run on any PHP enabled web server.
This software is now in beta. There is still alot of room for tweaking code and making things more streamlined, a whole lot of room. The code of CitrusDB might even be able to be used now for something other than to play around with, but since its beta I wont recommend using it in production yet. For long time users, please note that the initial login name has changed from "test" to "admin" now!
Main features:
- modular functions to allow new pieces to work along side base functions
- security and password access to database on a per user level
- track modifications to customer records made by the database user
- keep general info, mailing address, billing address, and billing info about each customer
- able to assign multiple (unlimited?) services or products to a customer record
- add custom fields for services/product information
- trouble tickets / individual and department notifications
- import / export feature to send billing data back and forth to card processing software
- import from online order data (or online order component)
- search by specified fields
- easy to add and modify services/products
- ability to invoke remote commands to talk to other servers for billing queries, user lookups, etc.
- bill credit card and invoice for monthly, setup fee, onetime charges, 6 month, yearly, etc. billing cycles
- ability for different billing types to be assigned to each product or service that one customer has
