Set photo in Kopete is a really simple service menu that just sets the current photo as your photo in Kopete, nothing more, nothing less.

It doesnt handle directories containing space yet, if someone have a workaround so that KURL dont escapes all characters that would be nice=)

Just put this file in ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus or use http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=11435 to install it.

Epson Photo Ink Levels uses the escputil program to access Epson printers.

Ive set it up for newer Epson photo printers as that suits my needs, but its a Kommander dialog so you can easily edit it for your needs.

It does allow you to set up the device using a dialog. I hope you find it useful.

Photosight.ru photo previewer shows the last 4 photos uploaded to www.photosight.ru, it also shows the author and the photo name.

Installation:

Just unpack it into some folder, start SuperKaramba and load the photosight.theme file.

Usage:

New photos are downloaded every 2 minutes. If you want to change the update
interval - edit photosight.theme manually and change interval=120000 to
whatever you like (just to remind you, the interval is in milliseconds).

Click (or doubleclick) on the photo will open its web page with bigger picture and comments. By default "konqueror" browser is used.

Configure theme:

"Background" - allows you to change a background of the theme. They are stored in "background" directory under your theme folder.

"Browser" - if you want to change the browser used, just type its command name ("firefox" for example).

"Font name" - changes the font ("Arial" will work, if its installed in the system, of course).

"Font size"
"Font shadow" - are self explanatory, I hope.

ArahPaint4 is a textile-oriented paint program, mainly for jacquard. It is a simple paint program for raster palette images.
It has good tools for drawing images in repetition, support for handling palette images (color reduction, substitution, protected, transparent colors), contour tools, layer support, unlimited undo/redo, support for drawing in aspect ratio (pixels need not be square), a two level grid, and a coordinates display.
The project is simple, stable, fast, and works well on large images (>8000x8000).
Main features:
- it has good tools for working with reduced color images (palette)
- for color reduction
- for drawing in repeat
- for drawing in aspect ratio different than 1:1, as this is necessary for weaving
- works well with large images (8000x8000 and more)
- incorporates a nice image browser
- has unlimited undo/redo
- has keyboard shortcuts equal to Photoshop whenever possible
- has a couple of functions you will not find in any other program
- lacks thousands of functions some other programs have

Kitty Hooch Photo Manager is something I wrote for myself I thought Id share. I use it to process photos where I need to copy, resize, create a thumbnail and write some text. I got sick of gimping (sick of gimp really) and automated this to produce text files or PHP strings too.

If you call it from Quanta it will even regester everything in your project so its one step from picking a list of photos and commenting on them to uploading. Sorry, you have to write your own PHP libraries.

This requires ImageMagick. I just added the thumbnailing and I know how to make it a lot faster, but Im too tired to do it now. In case youre wondering if you can do anything with Kommander, this is EXACTLY the type of thing I had in mind for it. This may not be what you need, but with a few minutes of editing the output patterns it may be a dream come true. Enjoy.
