AntiCutAndPaste is designed to search for text fragments that have been copied and pasted in programming language source code or plain text. AntiCutAndPaste is tested on sources from large C++, Pascal, Java, and C# (Mono) projects.
Algorithms used are very fast and can handle up to three million C++ code lines in one minute. Minor modifications of code are ignored during the search. GUI and command line versions are included. Reports are sorted conveniently by the total size of all similar fragments and there are many report customization options.
Linux command-line implementation is still a Beta version. Please be so kind and visit forums to ask a question or to write a comment.

Copy URL is an extension which adds an entry to the popup menu.

This extension adds an entry to the popup menu "Copy URL of this page". When selected, the URL of the current page will be copied to the system clipboard. The URL address should be in the clipboard for the use of other applications as well.

Copy file or directory path is a service menu that can copy the full path of file or directory to klipper.

Gcdmaster is a front-end to cdrdao the CD mastering software.
Gcdmaster is the GNOME2 GUI front-end to cdrdao that makes it easy to visualize and manipulate audio information before burning it onto CD.
Its features include: cut/copy/paste of sound samples, track marks edition and silence insertion. Writes audio CD-Rs in disc-at-once (DAO) mode allowing control over pre-gaps (length down to 0, nonzero audio data) and sub-channel information like ISRC codes and CDTEXT. GCDMaster also supports on-the-fly CD copying.

WP Clipart now includes a viewer to expediate the use of the clipart collection. While it is true that any editor will allow you to "browse" your system for images to open or insert, the interface can often be slow, or you have to dig through the system to find the clipart, and often the display of the images (in thumbnail form) is very small.

The Clipart Viewer (CAV) is quick, has a nice size display (up to 240x240 pixels) and the images are displayed, when resized, in their original proportions. In other words, you get a real good look at the images before you pick one. CAV then lets you copy the image in original size to the clipboard to paste into your program. The preview quality and speed are the biggest advantages to using CAV, but there are a couple other advantages that are not immediately obvious.

First, you paste the saved image while keeping CAV open. This allows you to change your mind to try a different clip or copy and paste another image quickly. You dont have to block your editor with another "open" or "insert" dialog to keep going. You can also paste it into a graphics editor if you want to do a little tweaking and not have to find it again.

On Linux, you often cannot get images into the clipboard to use in apps like AbiWord or the Gimp. Simply by keeping CAV open, Abi and Gimp can be pasted into.

I programmed CAV with Python/wxPython/wxGTK. Dependencies should not be a problem on any system as I have created "stand-alone" executables for both Linux and Windows, using cxFreeze and py2exe, respectively, and included these in the downloads for WP Clipart. [They are in the "Viewer" folder.]

Below are a few screenshots. The use of the little app is fairly self-explanatory . . . by clicking on the "caviewer" in the wpclipart/viewer directory (or more easily, by making a symlink or shortcut to that file) CAV will open with its search tree open to the clipart directory.

PloneDeepTrashcan is a project which allows contents to be trashed in a repository.
PloneDeepTrashcan keeps documents that were trashed (not deleted) in a central trashcan.
PloneDeepTrashcan keeps a reference to the original folder for all content moved to its trashcan. The reference is not kept for content moved to the member trashcan by PloneTrashcan, but it is simple to extend PloneTrashcan in this direction.
Besides the usual "cut", "copy", "paste" and "delete", users have the possibility to "trash" content. Trashing content will put it in the deep trashcan.
As all trashed documents for all users are kept in one deep trashcan, access is restricted by the "DeepTrashcan: Recover content" permission.
The "contents" tab of the trashcan has a "recover" action. Selecting multiple documents and clicking on "recover" will recover them to their original place after confirmation. Documents that dont have a reference to the original folder they were deleted from can not be recovered like this, but have to be copied and pasted.
How does it work?
Documents are cut and pasted to and from the trashcan, preserving their workflow state and security settings. The trashcan and its content is by default only visible to the Manager. We keep an Archetypes reference to the original folder.

File::Copy::Link is a Perl extension for replacing a link by a copy of the linked file.

SYNOPSIS

copylink

reads the filename linked to by the argument and replaced the link with a copy of the file. It opens a filehandle to read from the link, deletes the link, and then copies the filehandle back to the link.

safecopylink

does the same as copylink but without the open-and-delete manouvre. Instead, it uses File::Spec::Link to find the target of the link and copies from there.

This module is mostly a wrapper round File::Spec::Link::linked and File::Copy::copy, the functionality is available in a command line script copylink.
