Free cool car software for linux

Cool Blue is a desktop widget for SuperKaramba for system monitoring.

It has cool blue translucent background (which I made with help of Karbon14, Krita and the mighty Gimp) and displays everything I need (and probably what you need too).

It can interact with XMMS. Well, its a matter of personal taste, but I still like XMMS more than AmaroK...

Anyway, if you want, it should be easy changing it to use amaroK. Maybe even Ill do this if I have free time and appropriate mood.

Toy Cars is a physics-based 2D racing game for Linux. The graphics and the interface use SDL and OpenGL.

Toy Cars is partly inspired by Micromachines and partly by the old Atari ST game called Jupiters Masterdrive.

Script Wizard (a.k.a. ScriptWiz, or simply SWiz) is a small application that will help you with the installation of cool scripts on your website (or will die trying). This project is written in Python. It is web-based. It is simple to use.
To the unexperienced user, the installation of web applications may seem confusing. To the experienced user it is plain annoying. Script Wizards goal is to help both groups, by introducing a single, easy to use, web installer, allowing you to streamline the deployment of different web scripts. Whats more, SWiz takes into consideration the settings of your specific hosting provider, supplying you with provider-specific help on the way.

CarWorld is a small driving simulator/demo I use to test various things of interest. It was mostly developed when I was a student. Car World is released with the full source code under the GNU General Public License.

The rendering

The two top pictures represent an slightly older version (v0.072) but graphically similar of CarWorld as it was presented for my project. v0.072 includes an OpenGL based renderer allowing
file input and displaying of texture mapped models with interpolated surface normals, real time projected shadows (as seen in the dino lights example).

The mechanics

based on classical mechanics
uses standard metrics (Newtons, meters, seconds...)
there are no constraints on the environment surface
variable length time increments and variable increment number means "CarWorld time" is not dependent on frame rate.
adjustable simulation specs include: metrics, mass, moment of inertia around rotation axis, suspension pre load, compression damping, rebound damping, engine torque output, air friction, surface friction.

Kojoney project is a low level interaction honeypot that emulates an SSH server. The daemon is written in Python using the Twisted Conch libraries.

Kojoney is a mix of the spanish word cojon (s/c/k/) and honey. In the spanish language the sentence "estar hasta los cojones" is used to express that you are cloyed. In the past I received many attacks against my SSH server and various of the attacks were very cool (i.e. using my name and sourname to brute force my SSH Server).

In order to catch my attacker I decided to create a honeypot. The attacker stopped his offensives and (currently) I dont known who were the attacker but I realized of which this tool was very cool and I decided to release it to the public.

Stormbaan Coureur is a simulated obstacle course for automobiles. n this game, your objective is to drive your car along an obstacle course. Success depends on total control of the car, and making use of the laws of physics.
