Free convert video to pocket pc format software for linux

Convert::CharMap is a Perl module that can conversion between Unicode Character Maps.

SYNOPSIS

This module transforms between unicode character map formats, using an in-memory representation of CharMapML as the intermediate format.

Currently is supports the CharMapML, YAML and UCM (write-only) backends; ENC, Iconv and other maps are also planned.

PSP Video Converter project is a simple graphical frontend to ffmpeg to allow you to easily convert your videos to PSP compatibile format. Works for me, thought I may share.

Note: Created with Kommander 1.3, not sure if it works with earlier Kommander.

Note: There is no error checking for now, so make sure you have a working ffmpeg with necessary codecs installed.

Note: Looks like some PSPs cant open h264 videos encoded with ffmpeg.

Convert::Wiki is a Perl module that can convert HTML/POD/txt from/to Wiki code.

Convert::Wiki converts from various formats to various Wiki formats.
Input can come as HTML, POD or plain TXT (like it is written in many READMEs). The data will be converted to an internal, node based format and can then be converted to Wikicode as used by many wikis like the Wikipedia.

3gp converter is a GUI (Kommander script) that uses ffmpeg as a backend and allows you convert the video files in 3gp format, which used at mobile phones.
You must have ffmpeg installed at you system compilled with AMR audio-codec fupport (check up ffmpeg manuals for instructions). Also you need Kommander installed(at least kommender executor).
You can set custom parameters of encoding,for video stream: resolution, bitrate, framerate, used codec (h263,mpeg4), one or two pass encoding.
For audio stream:bitrate,samplerate (AAC only), audio codec (amr_nb,AAC).
Enhancements:

- sliders fix (now sliders moves when you set values manually)
- added prevew backend switch(ffplay/mplayer)
- added "exit" button
- added "stop" buttons for prevew

Pocket PC System Controller is a client-server package that will allow you to use your pocket pc as a remote controller for your desktop by sending voice commands.

Installation:

This is the server part of the software which you can install on a linux system.
See the INSTALL file in the ppc-system-controller-linux directory for more information.

Konverter is an easy to use but powerfull KDE video conversion tool. Konverter helps to convert almost every videofile into the most common different videoformats and codecs.

Beside converting, Konverter is also able to scale/crop your videos, change codec details or just changes the audio format of your file.
