Free conversion disorder software for linux

MOV, MP4 conversion service is final and working version of my script, which I use to convert files supported by ffmpeg to MOV / MP4 format, supported by my iPod Video G5.

Everything was tested to be easy to use (finally, after installation). If You have any problems with it, just let me know - Ill try to help as far as I can.

INSTALLATION:

Just download "avi2mov" script, and save it in /usr/sbin/ directory (You can save it in any directory, but take care later, because i assume, youve saved it in /usr/sbin/ :) ).

After this, You need to set proper permissions, so use chmod:

chmod +x /usr/sbin/avi2mov

Finally, You need to add this converter to Service Menu. Create file

/usr/kde/3.5/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus/convert-avi-to-mov.desktop

with Kate for example, and copy and paste this code:

Iris is a video conversion utility in C++ that works as a front-end to mencoder. Iris Video Conversion Utility can run in command-line or graphical modes and currently supports conversion to DVD MPEG, DivX AVI and VCD MPEG
This software intends to ease video conversion to common formats.

Convert::RACE is a conversion between Unicode and RACE.

SYNOPSIS

This module provides functions to convert between RACE (Row-based ASCII-Compatible Encoding) and Unicode Encodings.

RACE converts strings with internationalized characters into strings of US-ASCII that are acceptable as host name parts in current DNS host naming usage.

Beyond the Red Line project is a stand-alone total conversion for the award-winning Freespace 2 released by Volition and Interplay for the PC. It is based on the popular new tv-show Battlestar Galactica. No, not the one from the 70s.
Will I need Freespace 2 to play it?
No, Beyond the Red Line is a stand-alone conversion and will not require Freespace 2. All you need for playing will be included in the download.
Is it free?
Absolutely. The game is made by fans for the fans, no profit is being made from any part of the project. Although we could use some pizzas and coke to keep our mortal bodies running.
That about covers it... a BSG total conversion of FS2 that has just released a demo version. it plays really well and looks amazing. a must for any BSG fan.
Enhancements:
- This demo contains spoilers for the second season of BSG, so if you havent seen that season yet you should pass on this game for now.

Convert::EBCDIC, ascii2ebcdic, ebcdic2ascii is a Perl module for string conversion between EBCDIC and ASCII.

This module can be used to import then functions ascii2ebcdic and/or ebcdic2ascii or in an Object mode.

Exported Functions:

ascii2ebcdic()
takes as the first argument a EBCDIC string that is to be converted to ASCII using default converion table.

ebcdic2ascii()
takes as the first argument a ASCII string that is to be converted to EBCDIC using default converion table.

Object methods:

new()
creates a new translator object. Will take an optional argument being a 256 character conversion table.

toascii()
takes and ASCII string and return and EBCDIC string.

toebcdic()
takes and EBCDIC string and return and ASCII string.

Translation tables:

$Convert::EBCDIC::ccsid819
Character Code Set ID 00819. This is the default on most systems.

$Convert::EBCDIC::ccsid1047
Character Code Set ID 01047. This is the default on OS390.

Generic test processor is a language and processor for a language aiming to automatically apply or generate test source code in another language.
It is taken from a library of tests and data conversion operations.
These so generated instances shall be capable of inspecting a system by gathering data and screening this data to meet certain criteria, in other words to have certain attributes.

Convert::CharMap is a Perl module that can conversion between Unicode Character Maps.

SYNOPSIS

This module transforms between unicode character map formats, using an in-memory representation of CharMapML as the intermediate format.

Currently is supports the CharMapML, YAML and UCM (write-only) backends; ENC, Iconv and other maps are also planned.

Citation project is a web based tool for bibliographic conversions.
Citation is a bibliographical conversion program designed to transform data between several different formats including GTEC, Refer, and Bibtex.
This program saves the researcher time by keeping unnecessary formatting from taking up their time. Currently, Citation is written in Java.
The use of Java moves much of the processing of the program to the users machine.
After downloading the Citation applet, the user is free to log off the network, but can still continue using the Citation applet.

- Citation is available in both applet format and command line driven application.
- The Citation applet has the ability to convert between single or multiple entries.
- The Citation application is specifically designed for batch processing of files.

- Citation 1.7 has added new input manual format where user can add his or her own inputs in the input boxes rather than cut and pasting. This also supports format conversion mentioned previously.
