Free context dependent grammars software for linux

conTEXT is an amaroK script that looks for text or html files in the playing directory and inserts them in a new manageable box into the context browser.
I hope you dont expect too much of a script thats named almost like a tab in amaroK but there already are some ideas to extend its functionality...
Usage:
Scrolling: Left-click an arrow to speed up. Right-click to jump a page up/down. You can also use standard konqueror controls: Shift+ArrowKeys for scrolling, Alt+Mousewheel for horizontal scrolling, Ctrl+Mousewheel for zooming.
Drag the lower box border to resize the box, drag the box header to change its position.

Common Text Transformation Library, CTTL for short, is a set of C++ classes and functions to understand and modify text data. Common Text Transformation Library implementation is based on STL classes and algorithms.
Concept of a substring plays major role in design of the text transformation library. CTTL substring is an object that interacts with fragments of text encapsulated by STL std::basic_string template class.
Template classes cttl::const_edge and cttl::edge, designed for constant and mutable data access, respectively, represent CTTL substrings. Substrings may be compared, inserted, deleted, or replaced across multiple text inputs. If content of text mutates, the substrings adjust their positions accordingly to the change. CTTL guarantees that substrings remain stable with respect to a potentially mutable text.
Within CTTL framework, a substring may be parsed with EBNF-like grammar. CTTL lexical analysis engine generates a stream of substrings corresponding to the parsed symbols. BNF and EBNF grammars can be written directly in C++.
Template meta-programming and operator overloading offer features to write C++ expressions that describe grammar rules. No additional steps of parsing, compiling, or generating source code are required. Compiled CTTL program implements LL(INF)-parser, the recursive-descent parser with infinite lookahead.

HOW DO I INSTALL IT?

To install this module, cd to the directory that contains this README file and type the following:

perl Makefile.PL
make
make test
make install

Perl6::Contexts - array and hash variables turn into references to themselves when used in non-numeric scalar context or as function arguments.

SYNOPSIS

Perl6::Contexts makes Perl 5 behave more like Perl 6 with regard to the array and hash variables as used as arguments to operators, method calls, and functions.

This module doesnt add new syntax -- it merely changes the meaning of existing syntax. Using this module to make Perl 5 more like Perl 6 wont go very far towards writing Perl 5 that will run under Perl 6 but it will help you get used to some of the changes.

XML-Grammar-Screenplay is a processor for well-formed plain text representing Screenplays.

This in turn is rendered into a specialized XML format, and that in turn can be converted to HTML or DocBook/XML.

INSTALLATION

To install this module, run the following commands:

Concurrent Hierarchical State Machine (CHSM) is a language system for specifying concurrent, hierarchical, finite state machines (an implementation of "statecharts") to model and control reactive systems.
CHSM uses its own statechart specification langauge annotated with either C++ or Java code fragments in the tradition of yacc grammars with C code fragments. The generated code is fully object oriented allowing multiple state machines to exist concurrently. The CHSM run-time library is small, efficient, and thread-safe.
CHSM has been used successfullly in production environments such as CERN, Philips, and Qualcomm. There is an independent review from users at CERN.
Enhancements:
- The "dominance" rule has been extended from parent/child transitions to sibling transitions.
- This allows "if-else" transitions to be done more efficiently.

Right Encoding allows you to select the Character Encoding from the context menu.
Adds the Character Encoding menu to the context menu.

EthGraph provides a Qt-based graphical network device traffic monitor.
Installation instructions for ethgraph.
1) Download and untar/ungzip the source
2) Edit the makefile as necessary for paths on your system
3) Run "make"
4) Run "make install" as root
For help, run "ethgraph --help".
