The Linux Replicated High Availability Manager (aka Linuxha.net) allows the creation of clusters for application high availability through data replication.
Currently, clusters are limited to two nodes, but multiple applications can be hosted and failed-over between the nodes. The software uses DRBD to provide the data replication facillity.
Although this shared-nothing type architecture is typically more complex to configure and manage the Linuxha.net toolset attempts to manage much of this complexity for the administrator.
Much of the initial development and testing took place on various Linux 2.4 based distributions. More recently development and testing has taken place on Linux 2.6 distributions (primarily Fedora Core), ensuring the product works as expected on the latest available distribution releases.
Much effort has been spent ensuring that significant levels of support documentation is available. The documentation section now contains several guides as well as a user manual.
Please note that the user manual will eventually be replaced by a reference guide and various installation and user guides. Keep changing the documentation page regularly - these will be added when they are completed and aim to just cover specific topics.

conn-close gives us possibility to get rid of entries in ip_conntrack about ESTABLISHED TCP connections that goes through our server.

conn-close script uses hping2 to send spoofed RST packets which will fool conntrack and cause specified connections to be considered by conntrack as closed (now these connections will be in ip_conntrack in CLOSE state), even though RST packets will be more likely discarded by destination host.

Information about connections is read of course from /proc/net/ip_conntrack.

Idea was taken from script seen somewhere on the internet.

MySQL High Availability clustering is a set of scripts and programs that provide a high availability database cluster using MySQL replication.
MySQL High Availability clustering is transparent to client applications, as the cluster uses a shared logical IP to provide the service.

- References have been changed from MASTER_NODE to CLUSTER_IP in takeover, failover, and slave_routine, when it was appropiate.

devialog project is a syslog anomaly detection.
Main features:
- Is a behavior/anomaly/signature-based syslog intrusion detection system
- Detects new unknown attacks via anomalies in syslog

- Generates its own signatures
- Can email anomalies with included generated signatures in to administrators to ignore future similar events
Present log-based IDS:
Nearly all present log-based intrusion detection systems operate using a pre-defined known signature base, usually painstakingly created by hand. They can work well if the creator knows exactly all error and informational messages the software on a system(s) will write to syslog. Most overworked administrators wish there was an easier way to handle system logfiles in a sane, time-saving fashion. Present log-based intrusion detection systems have difficulty in detecting new attacks.
How devialog Differs:
devialog makes syslog parsing far less of a chore than it previously has been. It is functionally the inverse of standard log monitoring software. devialog, by default, reports on what is not know in its signature base, i.e. anomalous. This type of intrusion detection system is considered behavior-based, or anomaly detection. Reporting can be in the form of an email for each anomalous log, or an email for all the logs sent within a pre-defined time window. devialog can also execute commands, or simply write all anomalies to a file for periodical review.
Signature Creation:
For log-based anomaly detection to operate effectively, one must create an extremely large signature base. With an included utility, devialogsig, the signatures are created automatically. Future signature additions are as simple as a cut and paste from the alert email.

Enhancements:
- Bug fixes include better handling of lines with some special characters.
- A timing error was fixed within alert generation: sometimes alerts would be sent inadvertently based on the timing of a new log arriving as an alert was sent out in specific high-volume log situations.
- Altered signature generation creates more exact regular expressions.

Score Rated is a rated scoring script which uses the rating as a factor in the scoring process. Higher ratings leds to higher score. The rating is factored in each play.

I make no promises but the script hasnt messed up my system yet.

Usage:

You must use ratings for this script to have any point. Run the script, and it will be used to calculate scores for your tracks from then on. The script can be tweek by editing the file.

Known flaws:

Script reads rating when the song starts playing. Changes made after that is not considered. To make sure a new rating is used you could stop and restart the script or pause and play the song.
