conn-close gives us possibility to get rid of entries in ip_conntrack about ESTABLISHED TCP connections that goes through our server.

conn-close script uses hping2 to send spoofed RST packets which will fool conntrack and cause specified connections to be considered by conntrack as closed (now these connections will be in ip_conntrack in CLOSE state), even though RST packets will be more likely discarded by destination host.

Information about connections is read of course from /proc/net/ip_conntrack.

Idea was taken from script seen somewhere on the internet.

No Tab Close Button is an extension which removes the close buttons on the tabs.

Removes the close buttons on the tabs (Firefox 2)
Removes the button on the right (Firefox 1.x).

For people that like to close their tabs with a middle click.

Arrayprobe is a commandline utility that reports the status of a HP (compaq) arraycontroller. This version only supports the newer controllers that use the cciss driver.
Arrayprobe project works in two modes. The default mode reports the status in a single line and can be used as a nagios check. The second mode is activated by the -r option and prints a complete status report of the controller and any events in the event queue.
The latest version can be downloaded from the link on the left sidebar.
Installation:
The simplest way to compile this package is:
1. `cd to the directory containing the packages source code and type `./configure to configure the package for your system. If youre using `csh on an old version of System V, you might need to type `sh ./configure instead to prevent `csh from trying to execute `configure itself.
Running `configure takes awhile. While running, it prints some messages telling which features it is checking for.
2. Type `make to compile the package.
3. Optionally, type `make check to run any self-tests that come with the package.
4. Type `make install to install the programs and any data files and documentation.
5. You can remove the program binaries and object files from the source code directory by typing `make clean. To also remove the files that `configure created (so you can compile the package for a different kind of computer), type `make distclean. There is also a `make maintainer-clean target, but that is intended mainly for the packages developers. If you use it, you may have to get all sorts of other programs in order to regenerate files that came with the distribution.
Enhancements:
- This version also supports HP (Compaq) array controllers using the ida driver.
- This means that all currently available controllers should be supported.
- A few minor fixes were made in the configure script and some cleanup was done of the existing code.

Kubuntu media converter is a Kommander script that can convert between multiple multimedia files.

Astro::Aladin::LowLevel is a Perl class designed to drive CDS Aladin Application.

SYNOPSIS

my $aladin = new Astro::Aladin::LowLevel( );

Drives the CDS Aladin Application through a anonymous pipe, expects the a copy of the standalone Aladin application to be installed locally and pointed to by the ALADIN_JAR environment variable.

returns a reference to an Aladin object.

it should be noted that if you DONT do this after finishing with the object youre going to have zombie Java VM hanging around eating up all your CPU. This is amougst the many reasons why you should use Astro::Aladin rather than Astro::Aladin::LowLevel to drive the Aladin Application.

reopen

Reopen the anonymous pipe to the aladin application

my $status = $aladin->reopen()

returns undef if the pipe if defined and (presumably) already active.

status

Prints out the status of the current stack.
