XCircuit 3.4.11
XCircuit is a program for drawing electrical circuit schematic diagrams and related figure. more>>
XCircuit is a UNIX/X11 program for drawing publishable-quality electrical circuit schematic diagrams and related figures, and producing circuit netlists through schematic capture.
XCircuit regards circuits as inherently hierarchical, and writes both hierarchical PostScript output and hierarchical SPICE netlists. Circuit components are saved in and retrieved from libraries which are fully editable.
XCircuit does not separate artistic expression from circuit drawing; XCircuit maintains flexiblity in style without compromising the power of schematic capture.
Enhancements:
- XCircuit-3.3 is considered the current, stable, official release version. XCircuit-3.3 is the also development version of XCircuit. Current work includes the integration of automatic schematic capture (ASG) with Stephen Frezza of Gannon University. This should keep us occupied for a while. The Automatic Schematic Capture (ASG) is currently disabled by default until it becomes stable enough to be considered usable. The first function to be added is an hspice parser that reads hspice files and generates schematics from the netlist. Future work includes automatically rerouting in response to moving objects around on the screen, and reading Verilog netlists. The ASG module can be enabled by specifying "--enable-asg" at configuration time. The ASG package is incorporated into revision 3.2.7 and later. XCircuit version 3.3 changed from the original C++ SPICE parser to a simpler but more stable parser by Conrad Ziesler.
- Revision 7 changes the way selections are handled, getting rid of the cumbersome and oddball "click to accept/reject" method. The new method makes use of the recursive selection routine developed for selecting networks anywhere in the (visible) hierarchy of a schematic. This allows limiting selection of object instances to avoid selecting where the object instance has large amounts of whitespace, such as a border or frame object. Consequently, ambiguity about what element was intended to be selected occurs less often. The new method selects exactly one element on a button-1 press or button-2 click. If this is not the intended element to select, just select again and XCircuit will cycle to the next element found near the pointer.
- Note: Those who downloaded revisions 7 or 8 will almost certainly want to update to revision 9. The new selection mechanism was introduced in revision 7 and fixed for bugs in revision 8. However, in spite of the better underlying code, the algorithm ended up, if anything, even more cumbersome than the original. Quite a bit of optimization of the selection heuristics went into revision 9. In particular, XCircuit is now better at picking the "intended" element. Also, pointer warps to line endpoints are reverted back to the original position on a cancelation, and element edits can be undone with the "undo" command (an important part of the undo mechanism that I left uncoded for much too long).
Enhancements:
- Many bugfixes, some extensions, and some minor UI updates.

Quite Universal Circuit Simulator 0.0.12
Quite Universal Circuit Simulator is a circuit simulator with graphical user interface (GUI). more>>
Quite Universal Circuit Simulator (Qucs) is an integrated circuit simulator which means you are able to setup a circuit with a graphical user interface (GUI) and simulate the large-signal, small-signal and noise behaviour of the circuit. After that simulation has finished you can view the simulation results on a presentation page or window.
The software aims to support all kinds of circuit simulation types, e.g. DC, AC, S-parameter, Harmonic Balance analysis, noise analysis, etc.
Qucsator, the simulation backend, is a command line circuit simulator. It takes a network list in a certain format as input and outputs a Qucs dataset.
Whats New in This Release:
The new release comes with a new translation into Ukrainian, a selectable preprocessor in the SPICE file component and two new components, i.e. an exponential voltage and current source. Libraries
can now contain analogue as well as digital subcircuits. Analogue modelling is substantially strengthened by symbolically defined devices. And last but not least pure digital simulations can be also performed by Verilog-HDL as an alternative to VHDL.
In the simulation backend the equation defined devices (EDD) have been implemented as well as the two new signal sources. Also the list of
available functions in the equation solver has been extended to support vt(), hypot(), limexp(), arcsec(), arccosec(), arsech() and arcosech(). Furthermore logical and rational operators as well as the ternary ?: construct can be used in equations.

Open City 0.0.4
OpenCity is a 3D city simulator game. more>>
OpenCity is a 3D city simulator game.
Once upon the time, I was travelling over the Internet, and I found a city simulator under linux called FreeReign at SourceForge. But it isnt maintained any more. I decided to push the game up so I had a look at the FreeReign sources.
However, its codes were not obvious to me, and in addition the game design didnt fit my programming style. Finally, I decided to write my own free 3D city simulator, based on the original ideas of the FreeReign project. Few months later, OpenCity was born.
OpenCity is a city simulator game project written in standard C++ with OpenGL and SDL from scratch. It is not intended to be a clone of any famous city simulator from Max*s. So, if you are looking to download a free SimCity 4 like, please forget OpenCity. I work on it at my spare time, I really meant it "my spare time" !
OpenCity is also a OpenGL game programming tutorial. In the resources section, you can find the micro simulators algorithm, design document, UML diagram and information about other issues.

Quiet Console Town 0.7
Quiet Console Town is a console RPG city simulator. more>>
Quiet Console Town project is a console RPG city simulator.
Console RPGs have you visiting towns all the time, but Quiet Console Town puts you in the place of the mayor of a budding new city. Build shops, attract adventurers, hope villains overlook you: all the aspects of a console RPG town are yours.
Welcome to your everyday ordinary quiet console town. By the looks of your deceased friend there, youll probably want to stay a night at the Inn. Yes, those puncture wounds and missing organs certainly seem fatal, but all he needs is a good nights sleep and then (somehow) hell be good as new. In the meantime, might I direct you to our armor shop?
A bit of plate inbetween you and the monster might help you stay healthy! I see your thief seems anxious - theres some shady characters near the magic shop she might want to meet up with. Finally, once youre all done, perhaps you could look into the matter of our haunted mine...?
Quiet Console Town is a turn-based console RPG city simulator. You, as mayor, build the kind of RPG town youve always wanted heroes to visit. Buildings range from the simple Inn to the intricate dungeons beneath your mighty Citadel.
People can be as good as the most pious do-gooder, or evil as the most black-hearted villain. Make your city a bulwark against the forces of darkness, or a haven to shady characters round the world!

Sonic Action Beta 3
Sonic Action is a multiplatform Sonic fangame based on the SRB2 story. more>>
Sonic Action is the first SRB2 Town related game. Anywhere, instead of the standard story that you read everyday, this time the viewpoint is more orientated to Sonic.
But Im not saying that well not appear in the game, nothing of that kind. Im planning to get we appear in the game. So dont ask me about that.
The engine of Sonic Action is incredibly good: you can think that Sega made it. Thats because six months of developing can do wonderful things. And this is not developed using programs such as Game Maker, MFF or TGF, normally used for make fangames, its programmed in C++ with Allegro.
And is more: Tails92 will port the different versions of Sonic Action to other OS like Linux or FreeBSD (Sonic Action is orignally programmed for Windows).
The story is very original, as far as the fangames stories that I know.. But you can get more info in the Sonic Action sections (scroll down the menu).
Enhancements:
- New levels: Badnik City and Eggman Base (the last is incomplete).

citygen project is a medieval city/kingdom demographics generator.
citygen is a program which creates Medieval city and kingdom demographics. The demographics are completely configurable with options to force certain professions and to limit specific buildings. Its very handy for AD&D and other RPGs.
Shortly after releasing that program, citygen, I was asked if I would make a graphical version. I wanted to learn GTK programming under linux so I started out with a simple program to get the basics, GODR: The GTK Ochre Dice Roller. After finishing that, I wrote the GTK frontend of citygen, now known as GROCK: GTK Reorganized Ochre City and Kingdom generator.
Main features:
- GTK City/Kingdom Generator
- Console based City/Kingdom Generator
- GTK Dice Roller
Enhancements:
- city.c had a bug that would cause it to segfault

- Easy drag-and-drop circuit design
- Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) printing
- Support for multiple layers (for signal crossover)
- Multilingual support (de hu ro fr - so far)
Enhancements:
- This is a minor bugfix release featuring an improved layer mapping dialog.
- However, the most important change is on the Windows front: The Windows version of QCADesigner now uses the Gaim version of the GTK+ Runtime Environment.
- The new version allows you to upgrade from the dropline.net version of GTK+.
<<lessQCA is an emerging nanotechnology concept for the realization of a computer built with arrays of nano-scale QCA cells. These QCA cells are capable of performing all complex computational functions required for general-purpose computation.
QCA has been listed as one of the six emerging nanotechnologies with applications in future computers by the International Technology Roadmap For Semiconductors (ITRS). QCADesigner facilitates rapid design, layout and simulation of QCA circuits by providing powerful CAD features available in more complex circuit design tools.
