Rascan is a rewrite of Inter7s simscan that provides a qmail installation with the ability to check for viruses using ClamAV. more>>
Rascan is a rewrite of Inter7s simscan. RASCAN will provide you with the following:
- Will (optionally) check for virus using ClamAV
- Will (optionally) pass your mail through SpamAssassin
- Will (optionally) add a footer to your messages using altermime
The goals of this project are:
- Make it more runtime configurable, instead of having so many compile-time options.
- Make it simpler, removing functionality I didnt use
- Add a little extra, specifically a chance to add footers to messages using altermime
- Make it use bstrlibs string routines, because programming C I am a chicken.
To use rascan, you need a qmail installation with the QMAILQUEUE and qmail-queue-custom-error patches.

QUAKE 4 Quakemas Map Pack is a bonus collection for Christmas with maps for Quake 4.

This Map Pack is compatible with QUAKE 4 1.0, and updates 1.0.4.0 and 1.0.5.0.

This Map Pack consists of the file pak013.pk4 and contains the following multiplayer maps:

Campgrounds Redux (q4dm9):

With QUAKE 4s updated technology, Campgrounds Redux now has a fresh look and feel, revitalizing this QUAKE III(tm) classic. Excellent for any number of players, this updated version supports Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Tournament modes, where hard-core QUAKE fans can get crazy with this throw-back to one of their old favorites.

Railed (q4tourney1):

Set in an abandoned, rusting Strogg facility, the environment in Railed produces fast-paced frenetic tournament style action! This new map is all about close-quarters combat and hair-trigger reflexes as players hustle through the winding, multi-tiered corridors. Designed especially for Tournament play, Railed also supports Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch game modes, and is guaranteed to provide some thrilling fast-action gameplay.

Tremors (q4ctf7):

Built within a twisting underground cavern and peppered throughout with pipes, bridges, and catwalks, Tremors demands tactical expertise. Enemies attack from above and below in the enormous, multi-tiered environment, making team-play invaluable. Tremors is perfect for huge Capture-The-Flag games, and also supports the Arena Capture-The-Flag gameplay mode.

To use the new maps in the map rotation cycle, a new map cycle script file has been included with the Map Pack, called mapcycle-mp1.scriptcfg.

To use the new map cycle script:

1. On the Multiplayer- Create Server screen, click "Advanced Options"
2. In the "Map cycle script file" field, enter mapcycle-mp1.scriptcfg
3. Click "Close advanced options"
4. Start the server

Alternately, this can be set with the console command:

g_mapCycle mapcycle-mp1.scriptcfg

To uninstall, simply delete the pak013.pk4 file from your QUAKE 4q4base directory.

VisiScript 0.4.3

VisiScript 0.4.3

VisiScript is a simple graphical frontend for scripting languages like minscript, Python,Ruby, Perl, Tcl, Lisp/Scheme. more>>
VisiScript is a simple graphical frontend for scripting languages like minscript, Python,Ruby, Tcl, Perl, Lisp/Scheme or others.
VisiScript runs on the Qtopia desktop environment of the Zaurus and on all platforms supporting Qt 3.x.
With this program you can read, modify, save and execute script files and select different script languages. For the execution of the scripts the progam uses available script interpreters.
Since version 0.3.0 of VisiScript the QScintilla library is used as the editor-widget, this means that VisiScript is now a very comfortable programming editor with syntax highlighting and many other features.
To run a script VisiScript starts the actual selected script interpreter in an external process with the (temporary) script file. The output of this external process will be displayed in a text field below the script text field.
You have to install at least one additional script interpreter on the zaurus to use this program in an appropriate way. Here is a (not complete) list of available script languages for the Zaurus:
- minscript (a Java/C++ like script language)
- Python
- Ruby
- Perl
- Tcl
- Lush (a Lisp interpreter)/Scheme48
- Chicken

Jesusonic 0.99.1

Jesusonic 0.99.1

Jesusonic Software turns your PC or Mac into a fully programmable realtime effects processor. more>>
Jesusonic Software turns your PC into a fully programmable realtime effects processor.
General things to note before installing/running:
- Remember that this is just a preview release--many things may be broken, and it may not work completely as you expect.
- Be sure to turn your speakers down! If you run Jesusonic and it is sampling the input and outputting the output, you could get some nasty feedback if not prepared.
- On Windows, set up your mixer settings accordingly. Once you run Jesusonic, it will let you choose the input/output method. For low latency, ASIO or Kernel Streaming is really a must. Kernel Streaming should work most of the time, though currently it just uses the default sound devices, so you may have to change this in the Windows control panel. If you have an ASIO driver for your soundcard, this is the vastly preferred way to go. A good ASIO driver for USB sound devices is available (though not free) from usb-audio.com. A good ASIO driver for all soundcards (it just wraps the - WDM driver) is available at asio4all.com (and is free).
- More documentation will be available in the next couple weeks, the main goal here was to get something for the really hardcore people to play with by Christmas. Sorry if its hard to understand, but in general just try hitting keys to do things.
Supports ALSA and OSS, only tested on Debian unstable distribution, but should work on most recent Linux 2.4 and 2.6 systems.
Enhancements:
- fixed bug in package tool (preset packaging)
- added left pane (effect queue) in main view (tab toggles)

ComixCursors is an icon pack which provides original Comix Cursors.
Main features:
- X11 mouse theme with a comics feeling.
- Package comes with 42 different mouse themes for X11.
- 5 colors (black, blue, green, orange and white)

With the sources download below you can configure and build your own set of cursors regarding transparency, outline- fill- and shadow-color, the size and various other options. See the scripts and README included. Note that you *must* have inkscape and ImageMagick installed to make use of it.
The cursors are named according to the freedesktop cursor naming convention now. The rest is linked. I hope nothing is missing. Additional cursors for mozilla/firefox are availlable.
Want left-handed cursors? Take the "-LH" downloads below.
The RPM installation has moved in 0.4.2 from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/icons to /usr/share/icons, so if you installed a previous version by rpm you better uninstall the package first - things might get messed up.

psad 1.4.6

psad 1.4.6

psad is a collection of three lightweight system daemons. more>>
psad is a collection of three lightweight system daemons (two main daemons and one helper daemon) that run on Linux machines and analyze Netfilter log messages to detect port scans and other suspicious traffic.
psad incorporates many signatures from the Snort intrusion detection system to detect probes for various backdoor programs (e.g. EvilFTP, GirlFriend, SubSeven), DDoS tools (mstream, shaft), and advanced port scans (FIN, NULL, XMAS) which are easily leveraged against a machine via nmap.
When combined with fwsnort, psad is capable of detecting approximately 50% of all Snort rules, including those that inspect the application portion of IP packets. In addition, psad makes use of various packet header fields associated with TCP SYN packets to passively fingerprint remote operating systems (in a manner similar to p0f) from which scans originate. For more information, see the complete list of features offered by psad.
psad is developed with three main principles in mind:
Good network security starts with a properly configured firewall.
A significant amount of intrusion detection data can be gleaned from firewalls logs, especially if the logs provide information on nearly every field of the network and transport headers (and even application layer signature matches as in Netfilters case).
Suspicious traffic should not be detected at the expense of trying to also block such traffic.
Enhancements:
- Added ENABLE_AUTO_IDS_REGEX and AUTO_BLOCK_REGEX to allow filtering on
- logging prefixes.
- Added code to save DShield email to a file.
- Added IPTABLES_PREREQ_CHECK to allow the administrator to control the frequency of Netfilter checks (for auto-block compatibility).
- Added IGNORE_LOG_PREFIXES to allow certain log prefixes to be completely
- ignored by psad.
- Added classification.config file from Snort-2.3.3 so that psad can assign danger levels based upon Snort rule class type. This is useful when also running fwsnort.
- Added snort_rule_dl to allow specific psad to assign specific danger level values to particular signatures. This is useful if you want to do define certain Snort rules as being particularly evil (or not).
- Running fwsnort is also necessary to take advantage of this feature.
- Added reference.config so that psad can include reference information in email alerts that are derived from attacks detected by fwsnort.
- Updated to Snort-2.3.3 signatures.
