Helherron is a fantasy RPG game for PC computers.

The isle of Helherron is at chaos. Beloved King Krohl has been kidnapped. Nobody knows by whom, but the legends are wild. The villagers tell, still shaking in terror, that it was done by dark, winged man-like creatures that took off to the sky shrieking, with poor King Krolh with them.

And worse yet, the isles seem to be cursed somehow. Its hard to determine how, but you sure can feel it. It hangs in the air heavy, like a Shadow of Death, and you can see it shimmering bloody red in the horizon of the night sky.

The villagers tell that just lately, after King Krolh was kidnapped, their villages have been raided by grotesque cross-breeds between man and beast. Most apparently that is also due to the Curse placed over Helherron and its sister isles. But the worst is yet to be told.

The Divine Sceptre, given to the people of Helherron by the Divine Cleric Order and crafted by the Creator itself, which was at King Krolhs possession, is now missing too. It was most apparently stolen at the same time King Krolh was kidnapped. Thus, the only hope for Helherron is to send a party of heroes to find the Divine Sceptre so that order and peace can be once again returned.

Acme::Chef is an interpreter for the Chef programming language.

Chef is an esoteric programming language in which programs look like recipes. I neednt mention that using it in production environment, heck, using it for anything but entertainment ought to result in bugs and chaos in reverse order.

All methods provided by Acme::Chef are adequately described in the synopsis. If you dont think so, you need to read the source code.

There has been an update to the Chef specification. I have implemented the changes and marked them in the following documentation with "new specification".

Bitcollider provides the bitcollider can be used to lookup/submit files to Bitzi.
The Bitcollider utility allows users to uniquely identify and submit files to Bitzis community metadatabase project.
The Bitcollider can be used to identify any local file and has support for extracting metadata from MP3, WAV, Vorbis, JPEG, PNG, GIF, AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and QuickTime files.
Users can quickly look up all the known information about the given file in Bitzis metadatabase.
Enhancements:
- The kzhash identifier used by Kazaa 2.6 and up is now calculated. (As a result, MAGNET links at Bitzi can include this identifier and work with Kazaa.)
- A video format plugin now extracts and submits information such as framerate, framesize, duration,bitrate, and codec from most AVI, MPEG1/2, and QuickTime videos.
- A problem in the original construction of the TigerTree hash value has been corrected. (Only values from updated software display at theBitzi website.)
- Calculation of MD5 and CRC32 values is now optional.

The successor to LBreakout offers you a new challenge in more than 50 levels with loads of new bonuses (goldshower, joker, explosive balls, bonus magnet ...), maluses (chaos, darkness, weak balls, malus magnet ...) and special bricks (growing bricks, explosive bricks, regenerative bricks ...). If you are still hungry for more after that you can create your own levelsets with the integrated level editor.

LBreakout2 won the No Starch Press SDL Game Contest and since 2.5beta there is an internet test server available at petersdtp.net:8000.

ZOE (formerly OGLE) is a simple OpenGL graphics engine written entirely in Python.Its primary focus is rapid prototyping and experimentation, so it only supports the barest essentials, with focus on wire frames.

Some familiarity with OpenGL is expected, although when exploiting the particle system abstractions no specific OpenGL knowledge is required.

Demos included are the obligatory spinning polyhedra, static views of conic sections and the Solar System, a 3D surface plotter, a fountain of sparks, a swarming behavior model, a random walk example, a whirpool effect using gravity and drag, and an example of chaos theory and sensitivity to initial conditions.

ZOE is a very simple OpenGL-based graphics engine. OpenGL describes the primitives for doing 3D graphics; a graphics engine assists in organizing these primitives into higher-level abstractions. Some basic familiarity with OpenGL is expected to be able to use ZOE.

ZOE has five primary abstractions, in the form of classes. The first is the engine, which encapsulates the functioning window system. The second is the object, which encapsulates individual objects moving and interacting in the system. A subclass of an object is a group, a collection of objects that move in unison, possibly with some transformations applied before and undone afterward. Third, a camera encapsulates the transformations involved in placing and manipulating the view. Fourth, an interface encapsulates all the user interface controls (keystrokes and mouse manipulation) so that they can be exploited by the system.

ZOE also has some support for particle systems; that is, a group of non-interacting particles that behave according to the same rules. A particle is a special form of object that is merely represented with a point, and an optional trail (to make its motion more prominent), and a system is a group object which contains and manages a collection of non-interacting particles.

Unix::Conf::Bind8::DB::A is a Class representing A records.
