cd player is a really small cd player for Linux with a curses-like user interface.
Main features:
- mcdp is a small (maybe the smallest) cd-player for _linux_
- it compiles/runs out off the box
- it can be compiled against dietlibc (~16kb static!)
- working play methods: reapeat cd, repeat track and intro
- since version 0.3a, minimal cddb title download is also included

RipOff is a GTK+ based CD ripper for Linux (and hopefully for other Unix systems once some testing and fixing have been done) that has a simple interface, CDDB lookups, and a plugin-based encoder architecture.
RipOff CD Ripper attempts to appeal to those users who want a non-GNOME dependent CD ripper with a simple interface, or users who just dont like the interfaces of the other GTK+ CD rippers.

Autofs CD Changer is a patch for autofs. It automatically changes the slots and remounts cds as needed giving the impression that they are all simultaneously mounted. Its not for much use if you use multisession stuff, but works fine for mp3 lists that span many cds.

CD Crisol is a that that generates Software Libre Windows CDs. It downloads the applications, generates HTML, and builds an auto-runnable ISO image.
CD Crisol allows you to add your own applications and documentation to the CD and use your own templates for generating the HTML.
Enhancements:
- More functions for selecting and unselecting all applications or all by category and all categories were added.
- Some errors in downloading applications and icons were along with encoding problems in application dictionary generation.
- The default HTML template was updated.
- The applications manual structure was updated.
- There are now online manuals and offline manuals (included in the ISO image).

CD Shell is a scriptable menu system that provides the ability to create interactive multi-boot optical discs. It will make PC-bootable compact discs or DVDs that can select from several program loaders or kernels located on the disc, or boot from other local disk drives that are attached to the system.
This utility is based heavily on concepts pioneered by Bart Lagerweij in his great program Diskem1x. CD Shell provides similar functionality to Diskem1x along with many new original features, such as an advanced scripting language, graphics, and mouse support. It also has the ability to interface with other great programs such as isolinux/memdisk, Ranish Partition Manager, and Memtest86+.
CD Shell is free for non-commercial use. The program and its source code is distributed under the NASM License. The distribution and use of some optional components is restricted by their respective licenses.
Enhancements:
- changed behavior of display.message to interpret a backslash as a single-character quote if not recognized as an escape sequence (suggested by Erwin Veermans of the Ultimate Boot CD project)
- isolinux patches as suggested by Charles Appel of the Ultimage Boot CD project
- patched a bug in isolinux that would display some garbage characters when loading a kernel (just before Ready)
- changed behavior for the display command to not show a splash screen unless isolinux was invoked with an empty command line

- allow onEscape action when user quits the menu

- fixed a bug where text in the message window wasnt being updated correctly

BinChunker converts a CD image in a ".bin / .cue" format (sometimes ".raw / .cue") to a set of .iso and .cdr tracks.
The bin/cue format is used by some popular non-Unix cd-writing software, but is not supported on most other CD burning programs. A lot of CD/VCD images distributed on the Internet are in BIN/CUE format, Ive been told.
This is a Unix/C rewrite of the fine BinChunker software. The non-Unix version of BinChunker has been obsoleted by the CD-R/W burning software FireBurner, which can be found at www.fireburner.com.
FireBurner does a lot more than BinChunker did, but can be used to do exactly the same even without a burner device installed. Thanks go to Bob Marietta , the author of BinChunker, for the extensive help, documentation and letting me look at his Pascal/Delphi source code!
The .iso track contains an ISO file system, which can be mounted through a loop device on Linux systems, or written on a CD-R using cdrecord. The .cdr tracks are in the native CD audio format. They can be either written on a CD-R using cdrecord -audio, or converted to WAV (or any other sound format for that matter) using sox. bchunk 1.1.0 can also output audio tracks in WAV format.
bchunk compiles and runs on any host with an ANSI C compiler, and somewhat POSIX.1 compliant environment. It has been tested on the following platforms:

OpenBSD, FreeBSD and NetBSD all have a port of bchunk available in their respective archives for a very good set of hardware platforms.
Enhancements:
- Included a man page patch from the openbsd port of bchunk (adding a note about ISO/VCD), and s/ISO9110/ISO9660/. The changes were for openbsd by Dave Watson .
- Patch from Matthew Green for a new option -r, which makes binchunker output MODE2/2352 tracks in raw format, from offset 0 for 2352 bytes.

Playlist - CD Cover is a perl script that generates nice printable CD Covers using TeX. You can use custom designs by creating your own templates.

Perl-QT, TeX, dvips and kghostview are required. Please read the README file.

The script is still experimental -- feel free to send me enhancements or corrections.

MP3 as CD verifier 2 performs lookups on CDDB servers in an attempt to determine whether one or multiple directories of downloaded/ripped MP3 files has correct track lengths.
Please remember that mp3ascd uses the alphabetically sorted list of .mp3 files per directory Hence it is possible that if your filenames are somehow mismatched (case?), they may be sorted incorrectly. If youre getting a mismatch that you think is wrong, run mp3ascd with default options to make sure that the enumerated list of files it finds is sorted correctly.
To install, firstly make sure the script is executable.
I copy mine into a directory in my PATH, such as /usr/bin/. It should work on a multitude of platforms, but if it does not work on yours, please let me know.
