KSMS-Tool 1.0
KSMS-Tool is a tool for sending SMS via your mobile phone. more>>
KSMS-Tool is a tool for sending SMS via your mobile phone. In principle, every modern mobile phone should be supported; these have been explicitely tested so far:
- Siemens S55
- Sony-Ericsson K700i
The connection to the mobile phone is established via the serial interface. In principle, every serial emulation (e.g. via USB, IrDA, Bluetooth) should also work if an error-free connection is guaranteed (especially in the wireless cases IrDA resp. Bluetooth).
Details on choosing a non-default connection to the mobile phone or on how to populate the user-defined addressbook can be found on the KSMS-Tool homepage.

SMS Server Tools 2.2.18
The SMS Server Tools (smstools) were made to send and receive SMS from one or many GSM modems. more>>
SMS Server Tools provide the sms server tools for the send sms, bulk sms, through linux on cdma support mobile.
The SMS Server Tools (smstools) were made to send and receive SMS from one or many GSM modems.
They include a send/receive daemon and some sample scripts to build an SMS email gateway and for logging into an SQL database. The daemon waits for files in an outgoing spool directory and sends them.
It puts all received SMS in an incoming spool directory, and can call any external program for incoming or outgoing notification. This software support text messages in 7 and 16 bits (UCS2), as well as 8 bit binary messages.
Enhancements:
- String buffer termination errors have been fixed.
- This release reduces the risk of abnormal program termination in case of bad entries in the config file and bad modem answers.
- It also reduces the risk of missing the last digit in received phone numbers.

Hash::Case 1.003
Hash::Case is a base class for hashes with key-casing requirements. more>>
CLASS HIERARCHY
Hash::Case
is a Tie::StdHash
is a Tie::Hash
SYNOPSIS
use Hash::Case::Lower;
tie my(%lchash), Hash::Case::Lower;
$lchash{StraNGeKeY} = 3;
print keys %lchash; # strangekey
Hash::Case is the base class for various classes which tie special treatment for the casing of keys. Be aware of the differences in implementation: Lower and Upper are tied native hashes: these hashes have no need for hidden fields or other assisting data structured. A case Preserve hash will actually create three hashes.
The following strategies are implemented:
Hash::Case::Lower (native hash)
Keys are always considered lower case. The internals of this module translate any incoming key to lower case before it is used.
Hash::Case::Upper (native hash)
Like the ::Lower, but then all keys are always translated into upper case. This module can be of use for some databases, which do translate everything to capitals as well. To avoid confusion, you may want to have you own internal Perl hash do this as well.
Hash::Case::Preserve
The actual casing is ignored, but not forgotten.
METHODS
tie HASH, TIE, [VALUES,] OPTIONS
Tie the HASH with the TIE package which extends Hash::Case. The OPTIONS differ per implementation: read the manual page for the package you actually use. The VALUES is a reference to an array containing key-value pairs, or a reference to a hash: they fill the initial hash.
Examples:
my %x;
tie %x, Hash::Case::Lower;
$x{Upper} = 3;
print keys %x; # upper
my @y = (ABC => 3, DeF => 4);
tie %x, Hash::Case::Lower, @y;
print keys %x; # abc def
my %z = (ABC => 3, DeF => 4);
tie %x, Hash::Case::Lower, %z;
addPairs PAIRS
Specify an even length list of alternating key and value to be stored in the hash.
addHashData HASH
Add the data of a hash (passed as reference) to the created tied hash. The existing values in the hash remain, the keys are adapted to the needs of the the casing.
setHash HASH
The functionality differs for native and wrapper hashes. For native hashes, this is the same as first clearing the hash, and then a call to addHashData. Wrapper hashes will use the hash you specify here to store the data, and re-create the mapping hash.

Kumula Cases 0.1
Kumula Cases is a case management software for lawyers. more>>
Kumula Cases is a case management software for lawyers (similar to programs like Amicus Attorney or RA-Micro), based upon the Kumula package. It was part of my diploma thesis and consists of multiple parts:
Cases:
The main application for handling the case files. It shows active and closed case files, and also the appointments and time limits of all cases. When opening a case file, it starts "CaseData", which is merely an "internal" application.
CaseData
Displays the content of one case file. Because of splitting the case management and the case contents, its possible to:
- work with different cases at the same time
- open a case from Cases and Clients (see below)
- open a case directly from your desktop (if you create a shortcut there)
This case content program is also modular and brings the following modules with it:
- Header, for storing reference number, case title etc.
- Parties, for managing clients, contrahents and third parties
- Events, for recording appointments, time limits and resubmissions
- Documents, for assigning letters and other documents to a case file
- Journal, for register revenues and expenses related to a case
Cases module for Clients
This module for Kumulas client management program shows the cases in which a client is involved, including the possibility to open the case file directly.

Debian Package Tools FE 1.1
Debian Package Tools FE application is the first part of the Debian Package Tools FE based on python-qt3. more>>
Debian Package Tools FE application is the first part of the Debian Package Tools FE based on python-qt3.
Debian Package builder FE is a frontend for dh-make, dpkg-dev, debhelper. It is a tool to learn to build packages for Debian based systems without any knowlegde concerning the above command line applications. Debian Package builder cannot fix build dependences and repair non-standard sources. It is only a graphical frontend.
This debug release is only for testing on your system. Debian Package Tools FE is not intended for non Debian based systems. If it works, you are lucky, but if it does not, I will not restrict the ability of the application for the shake of a restricted system. (It will not work on SUSE, because Qscintilla package does not contain the full version Qscintilla.)
Debian Package Builder FE was not tested on Ubuntu. Theoretically, it could work from Breezy, but the package dependences may not allow you to install it. In this case, I will include an Ubuntu version, just test it.
This is a debug release. In case of any error, you can test it by the command (from running from the console):
dpkg-tools-fe full_path_to_the_tarball/tarball_name.tar.gz or tar.bz2,
or without argument:
dpkg-tools-fe.
Enhancements:
- Threading improvements to increase process stability
- A solution for a python-qt bug in Debian 4.0.
- Postinst script improvements. Prerm script to clean-up.

CacheTable 0.2
CacheTable is a C++ template library that implements a very fast hash map container. more>>
CacheTable is a C++ template library that implements a very fast hash map container.
Its particularity, compared with std::hash_map and google::sparse_hash_map, is that it has a fixed size (decided it when it is created) and a random item replacement policy: in case of an "hash collision" the older item is "discarded" and replaced with the new one.
This container is ideal for implementing a caching system, when you want very fast item insertion and retrieval and you know the memory amount you want to dedicate ahead of time.
Enhancements:
- This release fixes a bug with deletion of iterator range, and work continues on more complete documentation.
- The test case has been reorganized to not require external libraries.

Testitool 1.0 beta 6
Testitool is a QA test planning Web application. more>>
Testitool is an application written in PHP that allows its users to compose and manage QA test plans.
Main features:
Test Plan Management
- Use Testitool to compose rich test plans containing an unlimited number of test cases. Each test case can be mapped to a functional requirement (documented elsewhere), can be assigned a type (e.g. regression, functional, etc.), and more.
Manage Individual Instances of Each Test Plan
- Each test plan contains the master list of all test cases for a given product. However, for any given release you may not want to execute each and every test case. Testitool allows you to pick and choose which test case you will want to execute for any given instance of the test plan. Then track the pass and fail rate of each test plan instance.
Generate Reports
- Testitool allows anyone to view a variety of different test plan reports including: a bug report, a progress report, and failure rate report, and more.
Import/Export Test Cases from Excel
- Do you prefer to use a program like Excel to write your test plans - Testitool allows users to easily import and export test plans and all of their test cases to and from CSV file formats.

3dfx TV Out Tool 0.0.3
The 3dfx TV Out Tool tries to be the well-known TV Tool for the 3dfx VooDoo3 cards. more>>
The 3dfx TV Out Tool tries to be the well-known TV Tool for the 3dfx VooDoo3 cards. It might work on other cards based on the bt869 chip, since it uses the bt869 lm_sensors module.
Simply typing make or make all should get you started and create an executable 3dfx_tvtool which you simply run AFTER you loaded the appropiate modules (if you built it into the kernel (which isnt a bad idea if you use your tv-out a whole lot) then you dont have to load the modules again). ALSO!! Patch your lm_sensors. In the extra dir I included 2 patches for lm_sensors package, youll need those patched or you wont get luma (brightness) and chroma (color) control at all. (The buttons will simply dissapear) If you have a rescent CVS version it MIGHT be in there allready. Just load the modules and see if there exists a luma and a chroma entry in /proc.
Colorbars On/Off: Enables/Disables the colorbars. TV Out: Enabled/disabled Enables/disables the TV-out function. TSC/PAL: put the system on NSTC/PAL mode.
Re-apply: update the kernel with your settings in case you did it too fast. Save: Saves your current kernel settings (all of them) to the default save file. Load: Loades your default file and applies its settings to the kernel. Quit: Quits the application.
Bugreports should go to oliver@are-b.org aswell as any other feedback. Oh one more thing, if you like this program, contributions can be sent to me aswell.
Thanks go out to all members of the Collective, but mostly mrfloppy, for beeing a good friend, phirox for helping me with my basic programming skill and last but not least mastex and thehatter wassup dudes.
