Cascade Historian software is an event driven data storage program used to maintain persistent time-sequence data sets derived from process data.

Features and Benefits

In addition to providing storage the Historian also offers a historical query facility suitable for generating graphs and tabular output for export to other analysis programs. Other programs can also send data to the Cascade Historian by linking the API library and making the appropriate function calls.

The data storage mechanism within the Cascade Historian will maintain any number of simultaneous time histories, one for each configured process point.

The data for each point is maintained in one or more files, allowing for removal of stale data or offline archival of old data. These files are either numbered in increasing numerical order, or dated. When using dated files, the Cascade Historian automatically begins logging to a new file at midnight.

Data logging by event

The Cascade Historian records data by event. If no data change event occurs for a point, no data is written to disk. This saves disk space when the process point is idle, and captures even very short duration events when the point is changing. This is both more efficient and more accurate than a sampling historian. It is possible to place both a time and value deadband on each point to reduce storage for points whose values are constantly changing by insignificant amounts. The Cascade Historian will not reorder out of sequence data.

Data is stored on disk in fixed length binary records to minimize disk space, with a time resolution of nanoseconds. These files can be easily read by any custom program as well as by the Cascade Historian.

Any process may request data from the Cascade Historian. The Cascade Historian maintains a configurable in-memory cache for each point being recorded so that queries of recent data will not require disk access. If the request cannot be satisfied from the in-memory cache, then the disk files related to the point will be consulted for the data to satisfy the request. The requests can take one of the following forms:

Raw Data - Simply returns all recorded events for the data point, reported vs. time.
Periodic Data - Performs linear interpolation on the data to produce a data set at an even time interval. This produces the same result that a sampling historian would produce.
Relative Interpolation - Performs interpolation of one data point against another to produce a Y vs. X data set. Interpolation is performed on Y to produce (X,Y) pairs at the times of known values of X.
Periodic Relative Interpolation - Performs interpolation of one data point against another to produce a Y vs. X data set. Interpolation is performed on both X and Y to produce (X,Y) pairs at an even time interval.

The Cascade Historian has been built to allow quick addition of other forms of historical query.

Hogwash Light BR is an Intrusion Prevention System that can filter packets directly in the layer 2 of the OSI model (so the machine doesnt need even an IP address).
Detection of malicious/anomalous traffic is done by rules based in signatures, and the user can add more rules. It is an efficient and versatile IPS, and it can even be used as bridge to honeypots and honeynets.
Since it doesnt make use of the operating systems TCP/IP stack, it can be "invisible" to network access and attackers.

Light is yet another Mozilla-based browser. Features very simple non-bloated GTK+ interface, familiar Netscape 4.x keyboard shortcuts, context menus, etc. Tested with Mozilla 0.9.6 and newer. Supports Java/SSL/downloads/queue downloads to an external download manager.

The goal of this project is to have a usable, fast browser for reading news, searching bugzilla, etc. There are no binary packages, and I do not plan to provide them anytime soon. Compiling Light from source requires Mozilla 0.9.6+ and Mozilla headers.

Carefully read README and INSTALL, and read manual.html in the doc/ directory for explanation of how things are done and why. may work but this is unsupported. Bug reports are welcome, but requests to implement a Cookie Editor are not.

POE::Session::Cascading is a Perl module with stack-like POE sessions.

POE::Session::Cascading provides a stack-like session for POE. Another way of saying it is that a Cascading session is like a big switch statement. In the above example, when state1 is called in session foo, &state1 gets executed. When it finishes, state2 gets fired and &state2 gets executed. If state2 is called in session foo, only state2 will get executed.

SVN-RaWeb-Light is a Perl module, that once installed and driven by a CGI script provides a lightweight Web-based browser for remote Subversion repositories, not unlike the default HTML one for http:// repositories. (with some improvements).

This theme is provided with this good feeling. :)
"Candido" is based on "Gray" theme by me and then Mint.
For the rest... Theres two version of "Candido", (the Light one is a little bit bright, from #e7e7e7 to #eaeaea for the background, and it has different tabs).
Im planning new colored versions and a package with a few modified window borders.
Please ask me before make any *color* mods, because Im planning to do new colored versions in the future!

SCRAP project is capable of working with any video4linux compatible device, supporring all of its documented features.

It can grab frames from multiple inputs of a single device and also support working with multiple capture boards at the same time, giving user the advantage of a low-cost recording system.

It has a very reliable motion detection system, recording only when movement happens and ignoring the rest, including light changes. So, in a tipical 24h recording cycle, you will have only a few hours of recorded video.

Videos are recorded using XviDs MPEG-4 compression, witch is one of the best video codecs today. The generated AVIs should be playable on AVI+MPEG4 capable video player (all modern video players are).

There is also a recording archive management system, with alow the user keep archived only the recent recordings, erasing the old ones. User can set to erase recordings older than a number of days, or set a maximum disk usage.

Although SCRAP is a console application, it is full featured. It is intented to be run as a daemon, in the background, letting SCRAP doing the recording job without other systems users even notice it is running.
