Ogrian Carpet 0.9

Ogrian Carpet 0.9

Ogrian Carpet is a 3D fantasy action/strategy game. more>>
Ogrian Carpet project is a 3D fantasy action/strategy game.
Ogrian Carpet is an outdoor first person shooter game with real time strategy elements, inspired by the game Magic Carpet.
It uses Ogre3D as the renderer and allows you to fly around an island casting spells, summoning monsters, collecting mana, and building castles.
The object of the game is to build a castle, collect mana, and destroy your enemies. To build a castle, select a location, look at the ground, and cast the build spell. Note, you cannot build castles very close to water or other castles.
Your castle starts out small, with only one turret. As more mana is added to your castle, it will gain more turrets. Each turret adds another crane to your castles defense and another spell to your arsenal.
Basically, the game consists of fighting for control of mana. Whenever you encounter another wizard, shoot them with fireballs. If you hit them enough, they will "die" and be sent back to their castle. You are then free to claim all the mana in the area for yourself.
Once all the mana has been claimed, attack your enemys castle to get mana out of it so you can claim it for yourself. Once you enemys castle is out of mana, you can eliminate it by killing its heart. When all of your opponents have been banished, youve won.
Enhancements:
- AI bot player for skirmish
- things can now be loaded from an image, rather then randomly
- option for old randomized maps
- trees can now always bee seen
- made castle mana drops aggregate more
- loosened the restrictions on summoning
- made the config menu better
- added victory conditions to skirmish: kill all enemy towers/castles
- made ticks and gnomes stay in the formation you put them in
- made monsters and towers drop less then their cost when they have no wizard
- made mana float higher
- made towers cheaper (50)
- made sentinels drop much less (3)
- changed speed behavior on lava maps
- added victory music
- new music

oz2remind is a tool to convert OpenZaurus Opie calendar XML files to Remind format. more>>
oz2remind is a tool to convert OpenZaurus Opie calendar XML files to Remind format.
Its a small but useful Perl script to convert the datebook.xml file used by the calendar app in OpenZaurus Opie to Remind format.
About Remind:
Remind is a sophisticated calendar and alarm program. It includes the following features:
- A sophisticated scripting language and intelligent handling of exceptions and holidays.
- Plain-text, PostScript and HTML output.
- Timed reminders and pop-up alarms.
- A friendly graphical front-end for people who dont want to learn the scripting language.
- Facilities for both the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars.
- Support for 12 different languages.
About OpenZaurus:
The OpenZaurus project was created as an alternative Operating System for the Sharp Zaurus Personal Mobile Tool. The original purpose behind the project was to create a system (kernel + root filesystem) which was a bit closer to what the developer community specifically desired. The method by which this was accomplished was simply to use the Sharp ROM as a base and make alterations, bugfixes, additions and even removals, where necessary, to make the package more open.
Shortly after this, it was revamped completely. OpenZaurus was then a Debian based embedded distribution built from source, from the ground up. Given its debian roots, it is quite similar to other embedded Debian-based distributions, such as Familiar for the Ipaq. This means of doing things also facilitates an easy method for users to build their own custom system images.
Current Versions of OpenZaurus are built from the OpenEmbedded Build system, this was again a complete rebuild of the entire distribution from scratch.

mrtg-select 1.0

mrtg-select 1.0

mrtg-select allows the flexible display of MRTG graphs, chosen by keyword and time span. more>>
mrtg-select allows the flexible display of MRTG graphs, chosen by keyword and time span.

I use MRTG to graph all kinds of stuff, and looking at those graphs on the same page helps me detect correlations. ("Say, Professor -- that spike in CPU temperature came right when the Rapture Index hit a three-year high!")

mrtg-select lets me pick a subset of graphs to be displayed on the same page, based on keyword and time span.

And the best part is that it figures out the keywords automagically just by being pointed at the directory where the graphs live -- theres no config file to update. Licensed under the GPL.

PolyPuzzle 1.6.2

PolyPuzzle 1.6.2

PolyPuzzle project is a cute game, based on the original puzzle #0. more>>
PolyPuzzle project is a cute game, based on the original puzzle #0.

Poly Puzzle is my first original program to make use of Tks canvas widget. It was inspired by a plastic puzzle named Beat The Computer which came in an array of
sizes and loud colours.

It now has trays with polygons based on hexagons, squares and equilateral triangles. The new round tray is based on smooth triangles, and isnt quite as cute as
the original puzzle #0.

I had planned to incorporate a computer solution feature. This would be handy for the actual plastic game - which you have to put away at the end of the day - but
on the computer there are no little pieces to lose under the carpet ;>. More to the point - it would require quite a bit of programming / math!

Scmbug 0.19.18

Scmbug 0.19.18

Scmbug is a system integrating software configuration management (SCM) with bug-tracking. more>>
Scmbug is a system that integrates software configuration management (SCM) with bug-tracking.
It aims to be a universal tool that will glue any source code version control system (such as CVS, Subversion, and Arch) with any bug-tracking system (such as Bugzilla and Mantis).
Those who do not use a software configuration management (SCM) system do not maintain a history of modifications performed to their software. When bugs creep in their software, they do not have adequate information on how changes to source code came about.
Scmbug is a FREE software for bug-tracking and configuration management also know as SCM.
SCM systems, or even simple source code version control systems, make sure that a record of all changes and enhancements to the software is maintained. They provide a method of creating, storing, and labeling software changes.
Those who do not use a bug-tracking system tend to rely on shared lists, email, spreadsheets and/or Post-It notes to monitor the status of defects. This procedure is usually error-prone and tends to cause those bugs judged least significant by developers to be dropped or ignored.
Integrated defect-tracking systems make sure that nothing gets swept under the carpet; they provide a method of creating, storing, arranging and processing defect reports and enhancement requests.
Main features:
- Provide synchronous verification checks of SCM actions against the bug-tracking system.
- Provide a flexible architecture that can be deployed across the public Internet with reasonable security. Permit integrating repositories hosted by multiple SCM systems in separate networks, against a single, publicly accessible bug-tracking system, for use with multiple mobile developers.
- Define an SCM to bug-tracking integration interface and mechanism that will permit integration of any SCM system with any bug-tracking system.
- Encourage developers of other SCM to bug-tracking integration efforts to solve the integration problem once and for all.
- Integrate most popular free SCM or source code version control systems, such as CVS, Subversion, and Arch.
- Integrate most popular free bug-tracking systems, such as Bugzilla and Mantis.
Enhancements:
- This release introduces partial Git support, improves the Test Director backend, and splits the daemon logic into separate objects that can be reused by third-party software.
