Cyanide project is a client for Cyanide, a graphical virtual reality multiplayer role-playing game.

Cyanide is intended to be the most dynamic multi-player online role-playing game ever made.

This client uses an isometric perspective to present scenes. It is programmed with Python, pygame (SDL), and OpenGL.

Full 3D movement is possible, and the servers code can be exchanged online.

PresbyterySite is software for running a presbytery Web site. The project tries to present your presbyterys information in groupings that are most useful to your site visitors and to streamline the work of your clerk.
PresbyterySite is composed of plugins for the Joomla content management system. It provides a directory of congregations, a Google Map of congregations, and a directory of committees.
Enhancements:
- Most data in the database can be edited through the admin interface.
- This release can be translated into any language.
- There are several bugfixes.

PagePlaylist is an extension which shows a small Flash audio player on the page you are viewing, if it contains .mp3 files.

If you come on a page linking one or more .mp3 files, pageplaylist shows a small music note in a grey box by the upper left corner of the page.

Double-clicking on the music note will show a small mp3 player with some basic commands (play, stop, pause, previous track, next track, repeat playlist) and a display area for songs info (author and title if ID3 is present).

Clicking on the player will start streaming the first track of the playlist generated by collecting mp3 links on the page.

You can also expand the player to a wider box showing the full playlist.

DateChooser is a Java class that allows a programmer to present the user with an input dialog for easily choosing a date and feeding it to the program.

Texplore is a type explorer for GObject based libraries. You can see what signals, properties, and other things are present in each type, its parents, and its children.

Its similar to System.Reflection.Emit from Mono, only it uses the GObject librarys API and introspection capabilites.

POE (Perl Object Environment) parcels out execution time among one or more tasks, called sessions. Sessions multitask through cooperation (at least until Perls threads become mainstream). That is, each session returns execution to POE as quickly as possible so it can parcel out time to the next.
POE includes a high-level component architecture. Components are modular, reusable pieces of programs. They perform common, often tedious tasks so programmers can work on more interesting things.
Several POE components have been written to handle client, server, and peer networking tasks. Because of them, POE has become a convenient and quick way to write multitasking network applications.
Anyone can write and publish POE components. The CPAN contains a [steadily growing list] of them. The POE Components List includes ones that havent been uploaded to the CPAN yet.
POE provides medium- and low-level concurrency functions. Components use them to perform their tasks. The functions are also available to programmers who prefer to avoid the overhead of components at the expense of writing more code. Components and custom sessions coexist because they all use the same basic functions.
POE supports graphical toolkits such as Tk and Gtk. It is the only Perl programming framework that does this. It also supports Curses, HTTP, and other user interfaces. POE programs can present multiple user interfaces at once.
Enhancements:
- A number of stability and performance fixes were done, including making the tests less prone to race conditions, improving the installation process, eliminating known resource leaks, and reducing CPU use when combined with Tk.

Security

The present release of Sidebar in a Can has not been closely scrutinized for security, and should be treated as such by security-conscious administrators. If you examine the code and discover a vulnerability that could compromise the server, please contact the author at jshayward@pobox.com. The script is intended to have light security and not to compromise a server, but it is not intended to store credit card numbers or other sensitive information.

The default installation sets < the private sidebar data directory > and contents to mode 777. Administrators are encouraged to set directory and contents to mode 700, owned by the effective user ID that Snippets will be running under.
