ConfigFile for Haskell 1.0.0

ConfigFile for Haskell 1.0.0

ConfigFile for Haskell is a configuration file parser and writer library for Haskell. more>>
ConfigFile for Haskell is a configuration file parser and writer library for Haskell.
The ConfigFile module works with configuration files in a standard format that is easy for the user to edit, easy for the programmer to work with, yet remains powerful and flexible. It is inspired by, and compatible with, Pythons ConfigParser module. It uses files that resemble Windows .INI-style files, but with numerous improvements.
ConfigFile provides simple calls to both read and write config files. Its possible to make a config file parsable by this module, the Unix shell, and make.
Enhancements:
- This package was formerly part of MissingH and is being split off as part of the MissingH transition plan.

FritzCallerID 0.2

FritzCallerID 0.2

FritzCallerID is a SuperKaramba theme that shows number, name and address (if available) for incomming and outgoing calls. more>>
FritzCallerID is a SuperKaramba theme that shows number, name and address (if available) for incoming and outgoing calls via the AVM FritzBox (http://avm.de).

It searches for the name and address for a certain number in the German phone book www.dasoertliche.de.

Phone numbers are fetched via the integrated callmonitor of the FritzBox, available on Port 1012. Before using it, you first have to open this Port of your FritzBox by dialing #96*5* from any connected phone. Firmware version xx.03.99 or newer is required.

It is still very experimental, no error handling.

calltree 2.3

calltree 2.3

calltree is a static call tree generator for C programs. more>>
The calltree command parses a collection of input files (assuming C syntax) and builds a graph that represents the static call structure of these files.

Calltree is similar to cflow(1) but unlike cflow(1), calltree is not based on lint(1).Calltree implements some more functions than cflow(1), but does not list the return types of the functions. This is because calltree includes an own C parser and thus may be used even on systems that dont have lint(1).

The disadvantage is that the C parser that is used by calltree is not completely correct and may not find all calls of a function. This is mainly true for calls that are done via function pointers.

Calltree is able to detect recursive function calls (e.g. functions that call themselves). Recursive function calls are marked with an ellipsis in the output.

The amaroK bindings for Python 0.1.0

The amaroK bindings for Python 0.1.0

The amaroK bindings for Python is a fairly complete amaroK remote control class. more>>
The amaroK bindings for Python is a fairly complete amaroK remote control class. It is extremely useful for amaroK scripts and other applications. Basically, you can remote control amaroK by calling methods from an amaroKProxy instance.

In addition, it implements the Observer/Observable pattern so you can deal with events in an object-oriented, loosely coupled fashion. Even better, you can call an amaroKProxy instances collection.getSong(filename) method to get a Song object, with track, artist, album name, and elegant "Artist - Track name" strings.

Nearly all DCOP functions for communication with amaroK are implemented.

It will use KDE bindings DCOP module if available, otherwise it will default to the command-line DCOP dcop command, through python-commandsplus. If using KDE bindings, a slave process is spawned, and IPC is used to marshal and unmarshal function calls, so as to not contaminate your applications sys.modules with KDEs Python modules. This all happens automatically in the background.

To use it, you import the module in your script and instantiate an amaroKProxy instance, then call your instances startMonitoring() method, which will start reading from standard input, monitoring for amaroKs events. You can then sleep(1) until your instances .isAlive() method returns False (which means amaroK is now gone.

amaroKProxy is an Observable class, and so are its members:

- player
- contextBrowser

This means that you can implement Observer objects or Threads in your amaroK script, and have them be notified of amaroK events, instead of having to read standard input and act accordingly (plus error-prone exceptional condition handling).

Automated support for compound RPC calls 0.2

Automated support for compound RPC calls 0.2

Automated support for compound RPC calls is a project which augments RPCGEN to support NFSv4-style compound procedures. more>>
Automated support for compound RPC calls is a project which augments RPCGEN to support NFSv4-style compound procedures.

NFSv4 specifies that the RPC calls be batched into a "compound" call. There is no support for this in RPCGEN.

By rearranging the ONC IDL for NFSv4 into AutoGen definitions, these templates will emit the original IDL *plus* all the code to package, send, distribute, collect, return, and dispatch the results.

The distributed program author merely needs to call and supply server procedures for the routines specified in the IDL.

Templates for these calls and service routines is provided, too. The NFSv4 definitions are included.

Network Virtual Terminal for Java 1.0 Alpha 1

Network Virtual Terminal for Java 1.0 Alpha 1

Network Virtual Terminal for Java is a library that can drive a terminal emulator. more>>
Network Virtual Terminal for Java is a library that can drive a terminal emulator connected to the application through a telnet session.

Usage:

The API consists of the interface nvt4j.Terminal . The implementation of this class is called nvt4j.impl.Terminal. To allow the user to connect to the application you need to listen for a tcp connection and then wrap a Terminal object around it:

ServerSocket serverSocket = new ServerSocket(8000);
Socket socket = serverSocket.accept();
Terminal terminal = new nvt4j.impl.Terminal(socket);

For example, to run the sample class Example.java from an xterm session, you can
do this:

user@localhost$ java -classpath nvt4j.jar Example &
user@localhost$ telnet localhost 8000

NVT4J uses the Telnet LINEMODE option to put the terminal driver (xterm in this case) in what the posix standard calls raw or non-canonical mode, so that it can receive all user inputs asap, instead of waiting for a new-line character.

Unfortunately in pure Java there is no way to put the operating system console in
raw mode. On Linux and similar systems this is done using the stty command, which is a native program which manipulates the terminal driver in the operating system.

Whats New in This Release:

First alpha release. This code is quite limited but it already provides the basic functions needed to drive a terminal emulator for Java, namely putting the terminal driver in raw mode, turning off the cursor and client-side echo, and detecting the size of the terminal emulator window.

This code has been tested only with xterm.

Devel::CallerItem 1.0

Devel::CallerItem 1.0

Devel::CallerItem is an Perl object representing a function call from the stack of function calls. more>>
Devel::CallerItem is an Perl object representing a function call from the stack of function calls.

SYNOPSIS

Usage:

require Devel::CallerItem;

$call = Devel::CallerItem->from_depth($depth) || return;
$passed_arguments_ref = $call->argument_list_ref();
$callpack = $call->pack();
$callfile = $call->file();
$callline = $call->line();
$callsub = $call->subroutine();
$bool = $call->has_args();
$bool = $call->wants_array();
($arg_ref,@caller) = $call->as_array();
$call_string = $call->as_string($print_level);
$passed_arguments_string = $call->arguments_as_string();

$printable_arg = Devel::CallerItem->printable_arg($arg,$print_level);

Devel::CallerItem objects hold all the information about a specific function call on the stack. The information is basically that obtained from caller and @DB::args, packaged into an object. This comes with some useful methods to print the object in a nice way.
