Calindor project is a Fantasy World Simulation server that implements Eternal Lands protocol and can be played with Eternal Lands or compatible client software.
The Eternal Lands is a FREE MMORPG with Open Source Client and closed source server.
There are 3 main reasons why this project was started:
- Learn about an architecture of an massive user, mutlithreaded server software
- Create detailed models of fantasy worlds and evaluate how they will evolve by human or artificial interaction
- Enable map makers to test their maps in live environments
Enhancements:
- With this release, about 85% of the scope for 0.4.0 has been completed.

- Attack was implemented.
- Death, respawning, and resurrection were implemented.
- Dimensions were implemented.
- The starting map was updated.

As its name implies, alloywm is a quite exquisite, aesthetic little window manager for X11. The premise of this window manager is not to be over-bloated like better known window managers such as KDE, and to keep the interface out of a users way. Also, alloywm maintains to be small, fast, and have a really small memory footprint.

I first decided to adopt this window manager as a testbed for programming in C for X11, because I was mainly a non-graphical programmer for a long time. It is not very configurable, thusly you would have to edit the sourcecode to add any functionality, to bend it to your likings.

The window manager feels like a Macintosh GUI interface, except that you cannot click inside the window to give focus (that will change, soon.) A new window is drawn wherever the mouse happens to be. So, in other words, if I run an rxvt, and the mouse is in the centre, then the top-left hand corner of the window is in the centre.

libopendaap is a library written in C which enables applications to discover, and connect to, iTunes music shares.
Unlike all other daap implementations, this library is able to connect to recent iTunes shares which require a special authentication algorithm. See this page for more information.

Enhancements:
- Playlist support now exists, a new API has been introduced to access playlists
- Use a free mdns library, instead of Apples mDNS library. This means that libopendaap is entirely free now. libopendaap now uses a highly modified version of mdnsd.
- You can now connect to servers with passwords.

- Better platform support.
- Several possible buffer overflows fixed.
- Several bug fixes.

mp3plot project prints out a plot of the bitrate distribution of a VBR MP3 file (it will also do it for CBR files although it isnt very meaningful).

It should be architecture independent but I havent tested beyond PCs.
Theres a much more mature tool that does the same and more: mp3stat at signal-lost.homeip.net/projects. mp3stat refuses to work on my system(s) and having an interest in mp3s internal structure I gave a shot at it with mp3plot.

Waimea is a fast and highly customizable virtual multiple desktop window manager. It supports advanced features like transparent textures and Xft fonts.

iodine is a piece of software that lets you tunnel IPv4 data through a DNS server. This can be useful in situations where Internet access is firewalled, but DNS queries are allowed.
iodine needs a TUN/TAP device to operate. The bandwidth is asymmetrical with limited upstream and up to 1 Mbit/s downstream.
Enhancements:
- Multiuser support was added for up to 8 users simultaneously.
- Authentication was added, and a password is entered as an argument or on stdin.
- A manpage was added. "make" targets were added for "install" and "uninstall".
- The DNS code was cleaned up.
- More test cases were added.
- The directory structure was changed.

gtuner is a GTK+/GNOME radio controller.
Main features:
- Nice X windows gui using gtk
- Gui configurable via a scripting language which enables any combination of windows and widgets to be created.
- The program aims to be fully gui configurable, which means no editing of config files. Just point and click. (Not complete)
- Each device is actually a plugin that can be run time loaded and unloaded. You can therefore switch between cards without restarting.
- A control plugin interface with which you can write plugins to control gtuner.
- An almost unlimited number of channel presets are supported. (only first 999 can be used in the alarm though :-)
- A 7 day configurable alarm that can turn on any station you like on any day at any time.
- A sleep timer which turns off the radio after a specfied time.
- Support for kernel video for linux drivers via plugin.
- Full stereo support (if the driver can do it)
- Can be compiled with or without GNOME support.
- With gnome support is an optional mode that lets gtuner use the panel.
- The panel applet has various modes: Off, None, Text, Skined.
- The skined applet style is themeable and has support for XShape extensions.

At the beginning the game the enemys figures "Balabaks"are situated on the playnig field.Balabaks behaviour is simple, he goes straight towards your figures going round obstructions when he meets them.Balabak must not reach you,otherwise you lose.

Each turn is made up of some moves (max.5) or of shots and placing mines (max.5).Your task is to dispose of all Balabaks to do this you must choose suitable movements or shots. So that it is not so easy

You have to shoot through a wall at Balabaks or you have limited numbers of shots. If you dont have enough munition.You must tempt balabaks into a trap. You can save one shot when you lay a mine before a Balabak with two lives.

Installation:

Copy InstallBabala.sh to destination_folder.
cd destination_folder
./InstallBabala.sh

Run:

destination_folder/babala-0.2.1/babala

Uninstall:

rm -R destination_folder/babala-0.2.1
rm -R $HOME/.babala
