Caffeines key differentiator is that does not replace the Java Virtual Machine. Instead, your JVM of choice is hosted within the .NET runtime, ensuring that vendor-specific VM optimizations are preserved.
The specific objectives of Caffeine are:
- Run on any combination of .NET runtime (1.0+) and Java Virtual Machine (1.2+).
- Allow full reuse of any Java library from a .NET environment, working exclusively at the API level and avoiding bytecode translation of the actual implementation.
- Provide optimal performance, running the JVM and .NET under the same process and avoiding network or IPC costs.
Caffeine is open source, built for and by developers, and licensed under an MIT/X license that allows Caffeine to be used and/or embedded in commercial software.

SIDEN is a distributed network discovery tool used for intrusion detection research. The current SIDEN architecture allows you to simulate coordinated/distributed network probes by a group of attackers.

SIDEN has been tested successfully on the OpenBSD and FreeBSD operating systems. If you try SIDEN and it works on any other platform, please contact me. Yes, it sounds interesting that I havent even tested it out on the popular Linux platform. There should be little reason why it wont work on other platforms (especially UNIX variants), since its fully implemented in Perl.

IControl is a software program meant to interpret signals from Creatives RM-900 remote control and accompanying IR LiveDrive! receiver unit.

IControl is currently capable of sending input to various programs (including XMMS, Xine, XawTV, XScreensaver, et al), as well as circulating window stacking order (sending windows to the background) and changing input focus. Furthermore, IControl will soon support other remote controls beyond the RM-900 which are all interpretable by the LiveDrive! unit.

IControl is completely configurable through its .conf files, allowing the user to map any key to any action the rcontrol daemon supports. And development is in the works to allow IControl to start programs, interface with devices, or even shut the computer down.
