HacBurn is a frontend to cdrtools/mpg321/ogg123 written with gtk2-perl.

HacBurn is a script written in perl using gtk2-perl. It allows a user to use cdrtools and a couple other console applications in a graphical interface to burn CDs.

It can currently burn iso/bin images and audio discs, it can make iso images and also copy CDs. If you have 2 optical drives on the fly copying is available.

This glyph draws features that are associated with a protein coding region. At high magnifications, draws a series of boxes that are color-coded to indicate the frame in which the translation occurs. At low magnifications, draws the amino acid sequence of the resulting protein. Amino acids that are created by a splice are optionally shown in a distinctive color.

The -require_subparts option is suggested when rendering spliced transcripts which contain multiple CDS subparts. Otherwise, the glyph will hickup when zoomed way down onto an intron between two CDSs (a phantom reading frame will appear). For unspliced sequences, do *not* use -require_subparts.

Kadischi is an alternative to Pilgrim an application for Fedora Core based LiveCD generation.

The project is still in the early stage of development and is available via CVS.

Kadischi Goals:

Build robust tools for building Fedora-based Live CDs, and putting these tools into Fedora Extras.

Create Live CDs from these tools, based entirely upon content in Fedora Core and Fedora Extras, for official "blessing".

Distribute these blessed Live CDs far and wide, through whatever clever means we can come up with.

phpCDLabelPS creates labels for your data/MP3 CDs using PHP and PostScript (output will be a postscript file). It is controled by a frontend and a PostScript template.

To install, just extract all files somewhere in your webtree. Then point your browser to cdlabel.php - thats it. You may want to check the config.inc file and change the default values to your own preferences at any time: it just sets up the initial form values.
