bug is a simple tracking system for console users. It only depends on common Unix commands. bugs database format is a text file containing simple tabbed columns which can be even hand-edited.
It uses $EDITOR for submitting or editing the issues and for changing states or priorities. It relies on four fixed fields: ID, Priority, State, and Subject.
There is also a fifth free-text field for any other information you may want to store about the issue. There is no database locking or notifications, so its mostly for tracking the users own issues.
Enhancements:
- All bashisms have been changed so that the program works with POSIX sh.

Bug-A-Boo 1.09
Bug-A-Boo provides a software bug tracking system. more>>
Bug-A-Boo provides a software bug tracking system.
Bug-A-Boo is a bug reporting and tracking system that runs on any Web server that supports CGI. It helps you to keep an eye on bugs reported to you by users of your software products.
It can handle any number of projects, users, and bug classifications, and is really flexible in their setup. It features fast fulltext search, query storage, themes, and bug watches.
It uses the tdbengine as a database backend.
Main features:
- can handle an almost unlimited number of projects, versions, components, users, user groups, bugs, bug criteries, bug watches, bug browsing filters etc. The tdbengine which it is based on uses complex algorithms and indexing structures that make it that fast even with a huge amount of data.
- can inform you via email everytime a bug is reported that maches a component of any project you selected. It will email you when someone changes a bug you reported, you modified last or you are responsible for.
- allows users to keep an eye on interesting bugs and issues they are not directly involved with. Changes are then reported via email immediately
- allows users to define filters for browsing the bugs. A filter then can be re-used every time it is needed.
- is capable of handling multiple languages, either preset by the system administrator or by each user individually. The phrases are stored in a simple text file and thus can be translated to any language easily.
- is fully themeable which means it can get a total different look either choseable by the users or preset by the administator. The layout selection includes replacement of the templates and graphics while a theme is meant to change the colors.
- has a fulltext indexed search routine which is incredible fast
- provides full overview with its integrated statistics showing all figures of interest.
- will be continously improved and extended
Enhancements:
- new administration option "Note" implemented: the admin has the possibility to write a note for all users, that appears on the overview page
- internal messaging now allows group wise recipient selection, too.
- slightly optimized bug report edit form layout
- fixed several minor bugs

Perlbug is a Perl module that contains PerlBug database specification.
Bug, and problem management, tracking system, written in perl.
Currently using Mysql, probably running on Linux with Apache.
For installation instructions see the INSTALL file.
SYNOPSIS
Note that the given addresses are configurable for individual sites, treat these examples of current usage as defaults.
New bugs are created by mailing perlbug@perl.org or perlbug@perl.com
Said bug is entered in the database, and given a new bugid, the mail is then forwarded to perl5-porters with the bugid in the subject line..
perl5-porters(p5p) is continously tracked for relevant mails to attach to said bug.
There are web(http://bugs.perl.org), email(bugdb@perl.org and help@bugs.perl.org), command line(bugdb) and Tk (bugtk) frontends to query and administrate the bugs. See scripts below.
Regular overviews are emailed to p5p, and outstanding bugs are mailed to active admins for their attention.
All modules have perldocs embedded, to browse at your leisure.

Game Play:
- 32 waves of attacking insects
- "Extra Blood" and "Bonus Score Multiplier" extras
- Multiple bug types
Sound:
- Humorous, high quality sound effects
- Fun music
Control:
- Mouse control
Enhancements:
- Fixed "Ugh" and "Ouch" sounds for embedded version.
- Added Start and Continue buttons to embedded title screen.
- Game pauses when you press Escape (Cancel) in embedded version.
- Game state saved when you quit, loaded when you start again, so you can unpause even if youve quit the game completely!
- Splatted bugs eventually vanish in embedded version.
- Embedded version uses hidden file (~/.bugsquish) for high score, instead of a visible one (~/bugsquish.dat)
- Embedded version uses mouse motion, not mouse button press. (Too easy to not lift stylus high enough.)

Bug-buddy 2.19.0
Bug-buddy is a graphical bug reporting utility. more>>
Bug-buddy is a graphical bug reporting utility.
Bug-buddy is a graphical bug reporting utility for GNOME. Bug-buddy allows users to easily make quality bug reports.
The GNOME 2.12 Desktop is the latest release of the ever popular, multi-platform free desktop environment - on time, to the day! It includes a number of interesting new features and hundreds of bug fixes.
GNOME is...
Free
GNOME is Free Software and part of the GNU project, dedicated to giving users and developers the ultimate level of control over their desktops, their software, and their data. Find out more about the GNU project and Free Software at gnu.org.
Usable
GNOME understands that usability is about creating software that is easy for everyone to use, not about piling on features. GNOMEs community of professional and volunteer usability experts have created Free Softwares first and only Human Interface Guidelines, and all core GNOME software is adopting these principles. Find out more about GNOME and usability at the GNOME Usability Project.
Accessible
Free Software is about enabling software freedom for everyone, including users and developers with disabilities. GNOMEs Accessibility framework is the result of several years of effort, and makes GNOME the most accessible desktop for any Unix platform. Find out more at the GNOME Accessibility Project.
International
GNOME is used, developed and documented in dozens of languages, and we strive to ensure that every piece of GNOME software can be translated into all languages. Find out more at the GNOME Translation Project.
Developer-friendly
Developers are not tied to a single language with GNOME. You can use C, C++, Python, Perl, Java, even C#, to produce high-quality applications that integrate smoothly into the rest of your Unix or Linux desktop.
Organized
GNOME strives to be an organized community, with a foundation of several hundred members, usability, accessibility, and QA teams, and an elected board. GNOME releases are defined by the GNOME Release Team and are scheduled to occur every six months.
Supported
Beyond the worldwide GNOME Community, GNOME is supported by the leading companies in Linux and Unix, including HP, MandrakeSoft, Novell, Red Hat, and Sun. Find out more at foundation.gnome.org.
A community
Perhaps more than anything else, GNOME is a worldwide community of volunteers who hack, translate, design, QA, and generally have fun together. Find out more at GNOME Developers site.

Weather::Bug 0.01
Weather::Bug is a Perl module that can get realtime weather where available. more>>
Weather::Bug is a Perl module that can get realtime weather where available.
SYNOPSIS
use Weather::Bug;
my $w = get_live_weather( KCMI );
print "It is $w->{temp} degrees in $w->{location}n";
Weather::Bug uses data from aws.coms live Java weather applet. Not all available stations report live data, however. If the station closest to you does not report live weather data to aws.com, you are probably better off using one of the other Weather:: modules from CPAN.
Disclaimer
This Perl module is not endorsed or supported in any way by AWS Convergence Technologies. "WeatherBug" is their trademark.
USAGE
get_live_weather($station_id [, $units])
Weather::Bug exports only one funcion, get_live_weather. The first argument is the station ID. You can find the ID of a station near you at this page:
http://www.aws.com/aws_2001/asp/getLiveWeather.asp
If you get a list of sites, click one to view current conditions. Look at the URL of the link that says "Live Broadcast JAVA." The part of the URL that reads "?id=XXXX" is your station ID. For example, my old high school in Fredericksburg, Iowa, is FRDRC.
The units argument defaults to American, and supports these values:
0 American
1 Metric
2 American, but pressure in millibars
This function returns a reference to a hash in scalar context, or a hash in list context. The keys of the hash are as follows:
last_updated
date
temp
wind_direction
wind_speed
max_wind_direction
max_wind_speed
precip
precip_rate
pressure
humidity
max_temp
min_temp
site_name
dew_point
heat_index
monthly_rain
temp_change
humidity_change
pressure_change
location
max_humidity
min_humidity
max_pressure
min_pressure
max_precip_rate
Be aware that not all stations report all of these items. Units are stripped from all measurements and rates.

Scmbug 0.19.18
Scmbug is a system integrating software configuration management (SCM) with bug-tracking. more>>
Scmbug is a system that integrates software configuration management (SCM) with bug-tracking.
It aims to be a universal tool that will glue any source code version control system (such as CVS, Subversion, and Arch) with any bug-tracking system (such as Bugzilla and Mantis).
Those who do not use a software configuration management (SCM) system do not maintain a history of modifications performed to their software. When bugs creep in their software, they do not have adequate information on how changes to source code came about.
Scmbug is a FREE software for bug-tracking and configuration management also know as SCM.
SCM systems, or even simple source code version control systems, make sure that a record of all changes and enhancements to the software is maintained. They provide a method of creating, storing, and labeling software changes.
Those who do not use a bug-tracking system tend to rely on shared lists, email, spreadsheets and/or Post-It notes to monitor the status of defects. This procedure is usually error-prone and tends to cause those bugs judged least significant by developers to be dropped or ignored.
Integrated defect-tracking systems make sure that nothing gets swept under the carpet; they provide a method of creating, storing, arranging and processing defect reports and enhancement requests.
Main features:
- Provide synchronous verification checks of SCM actions against the bug-tracking system.
- Provide a flexible architecture that can be deployed across the public Internet with reasonable security. Permit integrating repositories hosted by multiple SCM systems in separate networks, against a single, publicly accessible bug-tracking system, for use with multiple mobile developers.
- Define an SCM to bug-tracking integration interface and mechanism that will permit integration of any SCM system with any bug-tracking system.
- Encourage developers of other SCM to bug-tracking integration efforts to solve the integration problem once and for all.
- Integrate most popular free SCM or source code version control systems, such as CVS, Subversion, and Arch.
- Integrate most popular free bug-tracking systems, such as Bugzilla and Mantis.
Enhancements:
- This release introduces partial Git support, improves the Test Director backend, and splits the daemon logic into separate objects that can be reused by third-party software.
