Edit Brushes is a script in Python for The Gimp, this script allows you to generate, delete, duplicate and EDIT brushes generated from images.

GIMP circle brushes provides circle brushes for use as "rubber stamps" in the GIMP.

GIMP circle brushes can be used with one click instead of creating outline circles by making a circle, filling with black, shrinking, and filling with white.

The following pixel sizes are provided: 6, 12, 15, 20, 24, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100, 140, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600.

Circle brushes are my third brush collection for use in the GIMP.

It was brush week for me.

Making circles is a bit of a pain with the GIMP. I know the Make a circular selection,
fill it black, shrink it, fill it white thingy -- but come on already... if I can rubber stamp a
premade circle brush where I need it instead, wouldnt that be kinda nice?

These were fairly easy, in theory. I had to add a bit of extra feathering to the above technique to get nice circles in all the sizes. Also several 45-degree rotations which smoothed out a lot of upper-end noise.

I also tried exporing from Inkscape, but the paths I converted to bitmaps did not work out as well as I had hoped and wound up sticking with the GIMP to create all
of them.

Sizes I made are:

6,12,15,20,24,30,40,50,60,80,100,140,200,300,400,500 and 600.

Use them for anything youd like. If you redistribute them, please include this file.

I post these, and perhaps make updates, at gimphelp.org. All the items will also be included (in png format) at wpclipart.com, the Public Domain clipart site.

Installation:

Stick them in the GIMP brushes folder and either "refresh brushes" or restart the GIMP. I put them in the system-wide folder, on my Slackware machine this folder is located at: /usr/share/gimp/2.0/brushes

You should also have a local brushes folder at: ~/.gimp-2.x/brushes

GIMP arrow and cursor brushes project consists of 17 sets of arrows and three cursors (a total of 72 brushes) to put in your GIMP brushes folder.

Arrow brushes is my small payback for using the great GIMP program.

I had a hard time (actually impossible) finding any arrow brushes for the GIMP.
But .gbr files are easy to make, so I spent two days of my life making these arrows
(and a few "cursors") as my modest contribution.

Use them for anything youd like. If you redistribute them, please include this file.

It is based the blot algorithm, that is opend with the ARTemis. The Blot Bursh works fine with spatter or cloudy image.

Installation:
Do "make install" for user install.
Defined USE_TABLET turns on tablet support (XInput extension).
Defined ENABLE_NLS turns on I18N supprot.

Dry Brush Plug-In is a plug-in like a tool in Gimp.

It mainly tries to express a feeling of a drawing materials with strength that is brought by pressure sensor of a tablet.

ASE (Allegro Sprite Editor) is a program specially designed with facilities to create animated sprites that can be used in some video game.
This program let you create from static images, to characters with movement, textures, patterns, backgrounds, logos, color palettes, and any other thing that you think.
Main features:
- Edit sprites with layers and animation frames.
- Edit RGB (with Alpha), Grayscale (with Alpha also) and Indexed images.
- Control 256 color palettes completely.
- Apply filters for different color effects (convolution matrix, color curve, etc.).
- Load and save sprites in these formats: .BMP, .PCX, .TGA, .JPG, .FLC, .FLI, and .ASE (ASEs special format).

Secret of Eternia project is a 2D RPG using ClanLib.
The eaisest way to get started is to use an example map from the game itself. Open up (File-Open) the first map in the maps/ folder (maps/1.fmp). You will notice that the map looks exactly like the first screen of the game demo!
You will notice the screen is divided into 2 main sections. The larger section is the preview of the map you are working on. The left side menu is a listing of all avaliable blocks that you currently have in the map. You can click on a block to set it as your current brush. This is similar to choosing a paint color in a paint program. Once you select a block, you can then edit the map by clicking in the map area. This is the generic way to edit the map.
Play around with this map to create some different landscapes and such using many blocks. You can even save the map and start up SoE to see your changes! (Make sure you have a backup of the original map, or you will have to download the game again).

Krita is a image editing and painting application for KOffice. The application is almost ready for use, and the architecture provides a solid framework to build an application on.
Because of the current unfinished state, Krita is not yet part of the regular KOffice releases, but the source is available from the KDE SVN repository. We hope to get Krita into a releasable state for KOffice 1.4.
Krita, like other KDE and KOffice applications, is free software which uses GPL Licensing. You enjoy the same rights to own, copy and modify this software with commercial and personal use, so long as you dont restrict the freedom of others to do the same.
