GNOME Bluetooth are tools for controlling and communicating with Bluetooth devices.

GNOME Bluetooth includes a GNOME platform library and associated tools for interfacing with and managing Bluetooth devices. Includes OBEX file transfer utilities and a prototype device manager.

GNOME Bluetooth was originally developed by Edd Dumbill, and its primary maintainer is now Bastien Nocera.

The software is free, licensed under the GPL.

The software is still in beta development right now. This means that there are bugs. Be careful!

KDE Bluetooth Framework is a set of tools built on top of Linux Bluetooth stack BlueZ.

Our goal is to provide easy access to the most common Bluetooth profiles and to make data exchange with Bluetooth enabled phones and PDAs as straightforward as possible.

GNOME Bluetooth control remoto (AKA GBTcr) It is meant to be a fast and functional remote control for GNOME Desktop working between a Sony Ericssons phone mobile (maybe others) and computer box using Bluetooth comunication protocol.

Mobi is software which is designed to provide access to a Un*x machine using a Bluetooth-enabled SonyEricsson phone.

A simple menu file is used to define a menu structure. Menu items can be tied to arbitrary shell commands or external programs, maximizing flexibility. Menus can also be loaded from programs rather than from files, meaning that dynamically changing menus are easy to realize, e.g. to browse a filesystem, an MP3 collection or a mail folder.

Mobi connects to any phone within its reach which passes the Bluetooth authorization process (usually by providing the correct PIN number). If the phone gets out of reach, Mobi will reconnect once it is found again. The number of simultaneously connected phones is restricted only by hardware capabilities.

Mobi uses the accessory menu of the phone. This feature is present in most SonyEricsson phones. It is tested on a T610, but should work on T68, T68i, T610, T630, Z600, and perhaps other models.

The accessory interface has been completely redesigned for newer phones (K750, W550, W600, W800, Z520), but I am not able to implement this since I do not have access to one of those. For the P800/P900, there are different solutions.

Whats New in This Release:

· No phone reset on connect, since it may end a call in progress.
· Improved installation scripts (using autoconf/automake).
· Menu files may now recursively include other files.
· Improved music playback scripts. Makes it much easier to support other players.
· Reloading the menu file will not do a full reset, but only replace the menu.

RemoteJ is an application for adding Bluetooth remote control capability to Sony Ericssons mobile phones such as the K750, W800, Z520, W600, W550, and W900 series.

RemoteJ project offers an extendable, configurable interface system that uses XML configuration files.

It can be used to control your music player, video player, or PC-TV using a menu appearing in your mobile phones menu.

Affix is the Bluetooth protocol stack for Linux.

This package contains user level part of the Affix stack and includes:

2-Disk X window embedded Linux is a very efficient Linux/xwindows distribution, implementing a net centric operating environment and user friendly GUI

The distribution is intended to be a demonstration of Mungkie assiciates embedded appliance development environment, showing the sort of environment that can be created for small appliance GUI systems using less than 4Mb flash and 4Mb RAM.

The embedded development environment is based around a standard source tree containing all the required utilities for a standard POSIX unix implementation with a number of XML based GUI configuration and compilation tools. NArg is a .NET command-line argument library. NArg library supports Mono and the Microsoft .NET Frameworks 1.1 and 2.0.

Valhalla Chat is an IM for bluetooth devices.

ASLib provides an ActionScript 2.0-based library that implements common data structures.

ActionScript is a scripting language based on ECMAScript, primarily used to develop software for the Adobe Flash .

ActionScript first appeared in its current syntax with the release of Flash 5, which was the first thoroughly programmable version of Flash. This ActionScript release was named ActionScript 1.0. Flash 6 (MX) then further broadened the utility of the programming environment by adding a number of built-in functions and allowing better programmatic control of movie elements.

Flash 7 (MX 2004) introduced ActionScript 2.0, which added strong typing and class-based programming features such as explicit class declarations, inheritance, interfaces, and Strict Data Typing. ActionScript 1.0 and 2.0 share the same compiled form within Flash SWFs.

FreeSBIE is a LiveCD based on the FreeBSD Operating system, or even easier, a FreeBSD-based operating system that works directly from a CD, without touching your hard drive.

The only thing you have to do is to insert a FreeSBIE cd in your cdrom drive.

Whats New in This Release:

· You may remember that FreeSBIE 2.0 was released on January 15th. It turned out it had some annoying bugs, one of which was especially serious, as it prevented USB mice from working. This fact led us, the FreeSBIE staff, to develop a bug-fix release, 2.0.1. All the bugs that have been pointed out were solved and this release has been more thoroughly tested, to offer a better FreeSBIE experience to our users. FreeSBIE 2.0.1-RELEASE (code name Black Mamba) is based on FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE, both in terms of sources and packages. It contains more than 450 pieces and 1.3 GB of software, all in a single CD-ROM.

SDL4Freepascal project contains SDL bindings for Freepascal.

It is a set of FreePascal units binding to the SDL (Simple Directmedia Layer) game development API.

Hmm-weblog 2.0 is a major rewrite of Hmm-weblog and has been in production at Stockholm University since February 2006.

Hmm-weblog projects goal is to create a system that would work for multiple users in one installation instance, but also with an instance per user. For more information about the software, please refer to the manual (PDF) contained within the source tree.

The preferred and only currently implemented client for Hmm-weblog 2.0 is a uPortal Channel (CBlog). Channel end-user documentation in Swedish is available in the Support.IT knowledge base.

The software is offered without any assistance from Stockholm University.
