Jbilling is a recurring billing system, targeting companies that periodically charge their customers for services. It calculates and generates the invoices, handles automatic payment processing with credit cards and notifies the customers about the status of their accounts.
It is web-based, once it is installed in a single server, it can be accessed with a web-browser from any computer in network with the server. If the server is connected to the internet, then the billing system is accessible from any computer connected to the internet.
Enhancements:
- The release notes are in the document release_notes.pdf, which is located in the root directory of the binary distribution (jbilling-1_0_8.zip)

AstBill is not only a web-based, user friendly billing interface for Asterisk and VOIP. The project is also a Asterisk configuration and GUI management tool and a standardized implementation of Asterisk using REALTIME and static configuration as you please.

What is a framework ?

Framework is an software infrastructure that is composed of various standard compliant software libraries, programs and utilities which are used in many of our software development projects. This ensures that all project behave according to standards and share the same unified basic structure.

Application framework

Set of standards and libraries which define common behavior and code for applications and enable seamless interaction between them.

Content management framework

CMF is an abstract Application Program Interface (API) which is used for content management purposes.

Multimedia framework

Comprehensive set of libraries, protocols and programs dedicated to sharing of multimedial content over computer networks. These include high quality and intuitive APIs for easy manipulation of many media formats.

Software framework

Software framework is a design concept and an API that is common for a type of software products. For example a third party "billing" system can be supplied by various software vendors but these systems often differ significantly. Software framework ensures that inside our applications they will behave identicaly.

Frameworks are used in every software development process as the interfaces they provide are often well tested and reliable. Also, features such "user management" provided by the framework can be easily customized and used in many projects. This reduces development time and costs.

Multinet is a curses-based solution to sharing a dial-up Internet connection using IP masquerading. It keeps track of time spent online, billing information for each user, and user manangement (so that users cannot kill each others connection).

The program depends on two scripts that bring-up the ppp connection and shut it down again.See the multinet.c code for the NETSTART and NETSTOP defines which specify where these scripts are. In my case, the up script is basically a line that says:

/usr/sbin/pppd call freeserve

...with a few other misc. bits and pieces. The down script basically just has this line:

kill `cat /var/run/ppp0.pid`

Your scripts may be different, but if you use ppp and chat scripts they are going to be pretty similar.

Net activity is logged to a file (defined in multinet.c). This is a plain text file that shows the userid, time, duration and cost of each call.

When you want to start a net connection, simply type multinet. If another user is currently using the Internet, you will be told as much and the program will exit. Lucky you - you can use the net and hell pay for it! Be nice and dont use much bandwidth though, or he might
get upset.

When you make your own connection, dont quit the program! You must keep it running until you press D to disconnect, otherwise everything will go pear-shaped.

When you disconnect by pressing D, to program will calculate how long the call was and how much it cost. It will tell you this information as well as logging it to its log file.

Interna is billing software that is able to manage customer-related and product-related data and statistics.
The document managment is able to generate the types quotation, order confirmation, delivery note, invoice, and credit advice in English and German.
Enhancements:
- The startup scripts are only provided as Linux shell scripts.
- The software has not been tested with Windows yet.

Cyberience Project Manager replaces the previously name PHP Project Manager. The application has functionality has been expanded significantly.
Cyberience Project Manager is a web based application for assisting in the management and organisation of a project based business. To use the application you will need to be able to use PHP in conjunction with a MySQL database.
The application incorporates the ability to organise a portfolio of projects made up of multiple tasks with individually specified billing rates (flat fee and/or hourly rate). The Project Manager allow you to monitor overall time spent on individual projects/tasks, and calculate project costs based on the specified billing rates.

Installation:
Project Manager is simple to install:
- Extract All Files to the directory of your choice.
- FTP/Upload all the files to your server
- CHMOD 666 the file http://www.yourdomain.com/directoryname/application/includes/config.php and http://www.yourdomain.com/directoryname/.htaccess to allow the auto-install function to write information to these file.
- Point your browser to the file http://www.yourdomain.com/directoryname/
- Enter your SQL Database Hostname, Username, Password, Database Name.
- Enter the Password and Username of Your Choice for Accessing Cyberience Project Manager.
- Click the Update Button and The Database and Security Will Automatically Be Set Up
- Delete the install Directory
- Enjoy !
