Keystroke is a tool that aids in the transcription, subtitling, and logging of video and audio. Keystroke project combines a video player and text editor and allows control of the media through keystrokes rather than through the mouse.

Furthermore, it tracks the start and end times of each entered phrase in order to use the transcription in CMML/Annodex files as subtitles. It is also unique in that it does not display each clip in the usual table layout, instead utilizing a script-like view. Output can be in SRT, CMML, and plain text.

WaveSurfer is an Open Source tool for sound visualization and manipulation. It has been designed to suit both novice and advanced users. WaveSurfer has a simple and logical user interface that provides functionality in an intuitive way and which can be adapted to different tasks.
It can be used as a stand-alone application for a wide range of tasks in speech research and education. Typical applications are speech/sound analysis and sound annotation/transcription. WaveSurfer can also serve as a platform for more advanced/specialized applications. This is accomplished either through extending the WaveSurfer application with new custom plug-ins or by embedding WaveSurfer visualization components in other applications.

Avis is an event router service compatible with the commercial Elvin implementation developed by Mantara Software. The project provides a general-purpose, scalable publish/subscribe message bus using content-based subscriptions.
Elvin is a flexible event router that allows arbitrary messages (a.k.a. notifications) to be exchanged via a publish/subscribe model. Elvin clients subscribe to messages using expressions that match messages by their content, an approach that differs from most other message bus systems that operate by selecting messages published on pre-defined channels. Elvin routers can also be federated to construct high-efficiency, wide-area event networks.
The name "Avis" derives from the French word avis, meaning advice or notification.
Applications:
Current uses for Elvin include providing the message bus for instant messaging and virtual presence, device coordination for smart meeting rooms and distributed speech transcription for meetings. It has also been used extensively by Mantara for high-volume financial transaction routing.
Elvin has picked up in so many applications because of its lightweight approach and flexibility. See the examples page to see how it can be employed.

AlternC is a set of user-friendly hosting software. AlternC Hosting Software is easy to install and based on open-source software only.
AlternC includes an automatic installation and configuration system, and a web-based control panel to manage users accounts and web services (e.g. domains, emails, ftp accounts, statistics...)
AlternC is based on the Debian GNU/Linux system (Woody version), and it requires other softwares such as Apache, Postfix, Mailman ...
It also contains a documented API, so you can customize your web panel quickly and easily.
AlternC was initially written in French. However, the debian package includes an English version. The translation of the project into other languages such as German and Spanish is in process. Volunteers are welcome ! (See the internationalization page). The documentation is only available in French (so far).
AlternC has been created by the system administrators of Lautre Net, members of Lautre Net and Globenet.
Enhancements:

- Quota management was corrected, bind now forbids recursion and domain poisoning, and the Debian package uses po-debconf.
- New functions were also added, such as postfix saslauthd with rimap and MySQL user rights managment in the Web desktop.

Software Render Library is an Open Source software implementation of a polygon-based renderer (like your graphics card).

Installation:
1. `cd to the directory containing the packages source code and type `./configure to configure the package for your system. If youre using `csh on an old version of System V, you might need to type `sh ./configure instead to prevent `csh from trying to execute
`configure itself.
If youre using GNU `make or any other `make program that supports the `VPATH variable, you should instead create a new directory, `cd to it and type `../srlib-src/configure.
This way you can keep the source directory clean and have your sources in a directory which is not modifyable by normal users.
Running `configure takes awhile. While running, it prints some messages telling which features it is checking for.
2. Type `make to compile the package.
3. Type `make install to install the libraries, headers and documentation. At the moment, only static libraries are built; support for shared libraries will be provided soon.
4. You can remove the library binaries and object files from the build directory by typing `make clean. To also remove the files that `configure created (so you can compile the package for a different kind of computer), type `make distclean.
There is also a `make maintainer-clean target, but that is intended mainly for the packages developers. If you use it, you may have to get all sorts of other programs in order to regenerate files that came with the distribution.
Version restrictions:
- Read or write files and file formats, like png or jpeg. Software Render Library expects pixel data in a suitable format in a memory buffer.
- Read and process file formats describing a scene. Software Render Library only takes simple commands like "render this list of triangles" or "apply this certain light".
- Tesselation, i.e. dividing more abstract elements like cubes or spheres into lines and triangles.
