PHP is a widely-used Open Source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML. Its syntax draws upon C, Java, and Perl, and is easy to learn.

PHP runs on many different platforms and can be used as a standalone executable or as a module under a variety of Web servers. It has excellent support for databases, XML, LDAP, IMAP, Java, various Internet protocols, and general data manipulation, and is extensible via its powerful API.

PHP project is actively developed and supported by a talented and energetic international team. Numerous Open Source and commercial PHP-based application packages are available.

VirtualBox application is a family of powerful x86 virtualization products for enterprise as well as home use. Not only is VirtualBox an extremely feature rich, high performance product for enterprise customers, it is also the only professional solution that is freely available as Open Source Software under the terms of the GNU Public License (GPL). Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows and Linux 32-bit hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4 and 2.6), and OpenBSD.

tpm4java is a library for accessing trusted platform modules in your Java applications.

tpm4java runs on Linux and Windows systems and can use version 1.1b and version 1.2 TPM modules.

Chungles is a file-sharing program for local networks that runs on any platform.

More, its a file-sharing program that utilizes ZeroConf (JmDNS libraries) for computer detection and shares files easily about platforms with simple drag ndrop.

The GUI is done in SWT (allowing native graphics) and the program is written in Java.

Critical Mass (aka Critter) is an SDL/OpenGL space shootem up game. Critical Mass project currently runs on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux.

The latter is my main development platform. Other platforms supported by SDL/OpenGL may also work with a bit of work.

Towel is a fairly basic program to play audio files. It works as a front-end to GStreamer to play both MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files.

Towel runs on GNU/Linux and FreeBSD, using the C++ bindings for GTK+ 2.4.x and gtkmm 2.4.x.

Prodder is a command-line based Podcast client written in Perl that runs on just about any *n*x system. Prodder implements a few very useful features that are lacking in many of the existing tools, while remaining simple and light-weight.

- Interactive and autonomous (cronjob) modes.
- Selective downloading (great for dialupers and low-volume users).
- Extended item information (date, enclosure url/size, description).
- User-defined download directory structure (based on title, category, date).
- Playlist generation.
