./configure --with-mysql=/home/brian/mysql-5.1/ --libdir=/usr/local/lib/mysql/
make install
And then inside of MySQL:

mysql> CREATE TABLE `d` (`a` varchar(125), b text, primary key(a)) ENGINE=skeleton DEFAULT
