Kvm is a Konqueror service menu which allows to manage your videos without to use a graphical application.
Kvm (Kde Video Menu) service menu can be considered as a frontend of ffmpeg.

UTF8Script provides an additional binary format for Linux: scripts that start with a UTF-8 signature (aka BOM), i.e. with the byte sequence xefxbbxbf#!.

This is particularly useful for scripting languages that recognize the BOM, e.g. Python. With Python 2.3 or newer, scripts with the UTF-8 BOM are considered UTF-8 enocded without the need for an addition encoding declaration.

Papyrus is a 2d C++ scenegraph library that utilizes the cairo library to perform drawing operations. In this respect, Papyrus Library is similar to the Gnome::Canvas library.

The initial implementation focuses on function over form, and as a result it should not be considered an optimized run-time library (but it does run reasonably well).

nagios-check_internet project is a Nagios plugin that checks if the Internet connection is still up by pinging specified hosts. If one of them responds, the connection is considered up.

Modify the internetservers file that came with the archive and put it somewhere on your system where the plugin can read it (I use /etc/nagios/etc/internetservers).

Pipe Viewer project is a terminal-based tool for monitoring the progress of data through a pipeline.

It can be inserted into any normal pipeline between two processes to give a visual indication of how quickly data is passing through, how long it has taken, how near to completion it is, and an estimate of how long it will be until completion.

pv is now considered to be stable code: it appears to work reliably on systems it has been tested on.

tada consists of a python module which is a wrapper module for any DBAPI 2 compatible database module.

It wraps all functions and methods of the origional module and forces the return of deferreds instead.

tada can therefore be considered to be almost DBAPI compatible as it inherits the compatiblity level of the wrapped module, but returns twisted deferreds.

mkDoxy is a small tool that generates HTML documentation from Makefiles.
mkDoxy is to makefiles what Doxygen is to source files: it parses a makefile and produces HTML documentation of available targets and macros.
Only comments starting with ## are considered, so it is easy to control the documentation that is generated.
INSTALLING
To install mkDoxy on any Unix or Linux system, run the following command as
root (or sudod):
# make install

mailman-pop3d provides a POP3 interface to GNU Mailman for the purposes of deleting spam which is stuck in the administrative requests queue.
If you manage a large Mailman mailing list, and are tired of using the web interface to discard spam, this script may be for you.
This software should be considered to be in beta stage; bugs are possibly present, and bug reports would be very much appreciated. At this point, I would also be very interested in hearing about success stories.
