Bio::Graphics::Glyph::cds module contains the "cds" glyph.

SYNOPSIS

See L< Bio::Graphics::Panel > and L< Bio::Graphics::Glyph >.

This glyph draws features that are associated with a protein coding region. At high magnifications, draws a series of boxes that are color-coded to indicate the frame in which the translation occurs. At low magnifications, draws the amino acid sequence of the resulting protein. Amino acids that are created by a splice are optionally shown in a distinctive color.

The -require_subparts option is suggested when rendering spliced transcripts which contain multiple CDS subparts. Otherwise, the glyph will hickup when zoomed way down onto an intron between two CDSs (a phantom reading frame will appear). For unspliced sequences, do *not* use -require_subparts.

abrowse is a program which allows you to read AKAI S1000/3000 sample CDs and write the samples into wav audio format. It is written in perl.

burnCDDA is a console frontend to cdrdao, cdrecord, mpg123, oggdec, mppdec, normalize, and mp3_check.

It can be used to create audio CDs from an M3U playlist (the playlist format of XMMS).

burnCDDA supports MP3, Musepack, OGG Vorbis and WAV files, and it might be the easiest way to copy an audio CD.

A front end for converting Audio CDs to compressed formats.

The MassRip package is a set of tools for converting and maintaining Audio CDs in compressed audio formats like mp3 and ogg.

This includes massrip which converts CDs to the compressed formats using cddb for track and album information. As well album_rename is for adjusting the names and meta-data tags for albums of files.

Banshee software provides a complete music management and playback on Gnome.

With Banshee you can easily import, manage, and play selections from your music collection.

Banshee allows you to import CDs, sync your music collection to an iPod, play music directly from an iPod, create playlists with songs from your library, and create audio and MP3 CDs from subsets of your library.

cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs with a CDR/CDRW recorder. It works as a burn engine for several applications.
cdrtools supports CD recorders from many different vendors; all SCSI-3/mmc- and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should also work.
Supported features include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI drives, audio CDs, data CDs, and mixed CDs, full multi-session support, CDRWs (rewritable), TAO, DAO, RAW, and human-readable error messages.
cdrtools includes remote SCSI support and can access local or remote CD writers.
Enhancements:
- A +-1 size realloc() problem was fixed in TOC handling for cdda2wav.
- A workaround was added for a double free problem in mkisofs, introduced with multi-extent file support, that caused it to dump core on Cygwin.
