beam-back is a simple Python script to save streaming MP3 data. This script has been tested with my.mp3.com and www.shoutcast.com. If you want to make an mp3 for an infinite stream m3u url, start beam-back with the option -v:
xterm -e beam-back.py -v %s

Verbose mode will tell you how much data has been read on a particular stream. Hitting ctrl-c in the xterm will cause beam-back to stop downloading and save the stream to a file.
The default name is "unfinished-stream.mp3" which can be changed with the -u option.

If you find the stream is dropping out and losing link unexpectedly, try the -p option.

Many internet radio sites use the .pls file format but the servers do not treat the mime type correctly :( You can save these streams in the following manner:
1) save the .pls file locally
2) from a linux prompt execute: ./beam-back.py -v pls_filename

Or you can set up both the two mime types:
audio/x-scpls
application/octet-stream
with suffix pls to "xterm -e beam-back.py -v %s"

Finally, if you want to setup cron jobs, you can stop and save a beam-back transfer by doing a kill -INT to the job.

Sidebar Icons is an extension which adds Bookarks, History N Downlaods icons in sidebar title bar.

To report bugs, extension incompatibility quick troubleshooting, and help please use the forums. Please dont use reviews for bugs and such, that what bug reports for.

And dont simply say "does not work", it been tested and works for most, there too many theme/extension combinations to test all, which brings me back to bug reports.

FakeBO is a program which fakes trojan server responses and logs incoming requests.
FakeBO fakes trojan server responses (Back Orifice, NetBus, etc.) and logs every attempt to a logfile, stdout/stderr or syslog.
It is able to send fake pings and replies back to the client which is trying to access your system.

Dnstracer determines where a given Domain Name Server (DNS) gets its information from, and follows the chain of DNS servers back to the servers which know the data.
Enhancements:
- Better handling of timeout (instead of a static value, start with five seconds and double it each retry)
- Warnings are printed if you receive a different RR type than the one you asked for (for example when you ask for an A record and receive a CNAME)
- Fixed problems when records received in the authority field are shorter than the domain the nameserver is authoritative for.
- When compiled without IPv6 support on an IPv6 capable machine the machine tried to query the IPv6 translated IPv5 address anyway.
- -C caches hosts which havent answered too.

XML::Bare is a minimal XML parser implemented via a C state engine.

The c prototyping tools library consists of implementations for several widely used data structures and patterns as well as rudimentary tcp / httpd functionality. Object oriented development environments usually feature readymade implementations of such tools.

cprops provides standard generic data structures, socket and threading facilities in c.

The libcprops fills in a gap in between the standard c api dating back to the 1970s and functionality needed the times of ubiquitous http services everywhere.

Coding in c often allows better performance and closer control over application behavior, which can be crucial in many real life situations.

The purpose of the libcprops is to provide generic tools for application development in plain c covering basic data structure implementations, persistence, threading and tcp communication. It was almost called libc2ee but luckily this was narrowly avoided.

Check4Change is a simple Firefox extension that allows you to periodically check a web-page for updates.

Have you ever found yourself pressing the reload button frantically, waiting for something in the web page to change?

Well reload no further! with C4C youll just mark the relevant text, set a time interval (e.g. every 1 minute), and youre done!

Usage:

1. Select the text you want monitored for updates.

2. Right-Click. On the Check4Change context menu, select the time interval. The tab icon will indicate this page is being monitored by changing to C4C.

Thats it! Sit back, and wait for the notifications, which include:

* Little dancing C4C letters in the tab icon. Clicking the tab indicates youve seen it, and the icon changes back to the original.
* Pop-up alert notification.
* Sound notification. Can you make out who it is?

Note: C4C currently only works with open tabs. It does not continue to monitor tabs that have closed, nor does it remember running jobs between FireFox restarts. These features will be implemented in an upcoming release.
