Panda Antivirus for Linux is an antivirus for Linux servers and desktops. The project is an antivirus designed to be managed from the command line or console. To do this, an executable called PAVCL will be used.

The aim of Panda Antivirus for Linux is to scan and disinfect Windows and DOS workstations connected to a Linux server, as well as the Linux server itself.

Panda Antivirus for Linux scans files using both string searches and heuristic methods. The target files of the antivirus are Word documents, Java Applets, ActiveX controls and compressed files (ZIP, RAR, etc.).

At the moment, it does not scan the boot sector or the partitions table.

Panda Antivirus for Linux is a freeware version: Panda Software does not offer technical support for this software.

HAVP (HTTP Antivirus Proxy) is a proxy with a ClamAV anti-virus scanner. HTTP Anti Virus Proxy aims are continuous, non-blocking downloads and smooth scanning of dynamic and password protected HTTP traffic.
Havp antivirus proxy has a parent and transparent proxy mode. It can be used with squid or standalone.

samba-vscan provides on-access scanning of Samba shares with ClamAV (clamd and libclamav), F-Secure AV, FRISK F-Prot Daemon, Kaspersky AntiVirus, OpenAntiVirus.org ScannerDaemon, mks AntiVirus, NAI/McAfee VirusScan, Sophos Sweep (via Sophie), Symantec AntiVirus Engine (via ICAP), and Trend Micro (via Trophie). It supports Samba 2.2.x/3.0.x.

AVScan is an AntiVirus scanner front end for ClamAV.

A front end for the Clam AntiVirus scanner using Endeavour Mark II. Features a scan list for frequently scanned locations, freshclam update support, and command line calling from Endeavour.

avpmilter is a sendmail milter interface to the Kaspersky antivirus daemon.
Avpmilter gets virus scan result and tells sendmail MTA to send reject message upon virus detection. This program is not MTA, nor antivirus by itself.

In comparison with will Kasperskys kavkeeper it will improve performance of your mail subsystem because:
It will not reinject each message for each recipient back to sendmail MTA ( if sendmail receives, for example, one message for 30 recipients, kavkeeper will initiate 30 requests to antivirus daemon and 30 additional executions of sendmail program. Avpmilter will send only one request to antivirus daemon and will not initiate additional executions of sendmail program).

Avpmilter is small resident miltithreaded program, thus it avoids expensive fork() calls.
Avpmilter almost does not affects your current sendmail configuration. Moreover milter interface allows to run sendmail MTA and filter on different computers. avpmilter requires sendmail 8.11.x or 8.12.x built with milter support (which is the default option for sendmail 8.12). You can read about how to build and configure sendmail with milter interface in libmilter/README in sendmail source tree. Also you can find a good milter api ocumentation in libmilter/docs directory in version 8.12 of sendmail.

Ibmonitor is an interactive Linux console application which shows bandwidth consumed on all interfaces. This project is different from existing similar utilities in that it can show the values in Kbits/sec (Kbps) and Kbytes/sec (KBps) simultaneously. It also displays the total data transferred in KB/MB/GB dynamically shifting the unit to adjust available field width.Also there are command line switches which allow to choose whether to display maximum and average bandwidth.
ibmonitor responds to certain key presses while running and can dynamically change its output display format.
