Free automatically saves software for linux

Title Save is a Firefox extension that replicates IEs default behavior when saving a webpage, placing the pages title as filename.

Also, if the page is saved as "Complete", the corresponding URL is inserted as an HTML comment at the top of the file.

Autosave Playlist is a simple script written in Bash that automatically saves playlist in the given directory (default /tmp/amarok-user) in M3U format. The script deletes old backups older than a week.

Usage:

Run it and your playlist is automaticaly guarded. When AmaroK crashes you will find your playlist backups in /tmp/amarok-your_login_name.

Form Saver enables you to saves form field data as autofill-bookmarklets.

ezOnlineGallery is an online gallery that automatically generates thumbnails.
ezOnlineGallery supports descriptions for each album and picture, searching on descriptions and file names, picture rotation, EXIF support for displaying the time and date images were taken, dynamically generated text overlays for copyright notices, support for uploading Zip archives of images, an easy admin panel, and easy installation.

getattach.pl is a useful Perl script which automatically retrieves all the attachments in your mailbox, decodes them, and saves them in your destination directory
If you receive a lot of image or video, or even audio files via email attachments this utility can save you a lot of time spent selecting messages, opening and decoding attachments and specifying the destination directory, etc.
Getattach.pl make your life much easier, and less stressfull. You can spend your time being more productive, making more money, and getting more for your money.

DailyStrips is a utility to download your favorite online comic strips each day. What sets it apart from the rest is its "local" mode of operation, which automatically downloads strips for you. Avantgo is also supported, for downloading comics to PDAs.
This Perl script downloads the URL for the current comic of various strips that are available online, and outputs these URLs to an HTML file. This enables you to view all of your favorite strips at once, instead of visiting several different websites.
One feature that sets this program apart from the rest is the ability to operate in local mode. This mode, instead of writing the addresses to images in the HTML file, actually downloads the image and saves it locally. This way, you do not have to wait for each image to download - its already on your hard drive. This is most useful when DailyStrips is run from a cron script. (See file README.LOCAL for more information and examples)
System requirements:
DailyStrips requires a reasonably current version of Perl - it was developed with 5.6.0. The HTTP::Request, LWP::UserAgent, and POSIX modules are needed. If you want to use --date, you will need Date::Time from the TimeDate package. See www.cpan.org if you dont have them installed already. DailyStrips was developed on Linux but should be able to run on any *nix with that has the necessary Perl modules installed. Running on Win32 is also possible.
If you use AvantGo mode, ImageMagick is required.

This provides a windows and linux executable versions along with the source for those brave enough to try and build it from scratch. It also provides a linux and windows curses version for those allergic to graphics.

- Added documentation about intent of this game and listed various non-bugs.
- Fixed a bug where the borg would attack enemies even when blind.
- Added an eXplore mode so you can take over and pilot the game manually. The correct key to hit isnt in the in-game documentation to encourage you to play it properly first.
