ADOdb Lite is a small, fast replacement for ADODB that uses 1/6th of the memory and is up to 300% faster, while being compatible with a subset of the most commonly used ADODB commands.
ADOdb Lite supports Frontbase, MaxDB, MiniSql, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and Sybase.

- Query tracking was added for performance testing.
- There are three new database array variables: $db->query_list, $db->query_list_time, and $db->query_list_errors.
- These variables will contain every processed query and the time it took to process the query for the current instance of the database object.
- This will allow easy tracking of every query on any page and the amount of time it took to execute each query.
- In all drivers, a return variable by reference error was fixed when returning an empty record set.

Domain Auditor project was written to audit and track accounts within a domain. This tool uses LDAP queries to a definable Active Directory server to find various definable classes of accounts.
Initially it will operate interactively, but capabilities may be added in the future to automate functions (i.e. generate reports on a scheduled basis). The installation script handles most installation chores, so setup is very straightforward.
The tool is beta status at this time, but is in being used to generate SOX reports for my employer.

- Reports - This function will display a list of defined reports, when invoked it will generate a list of accounts from AD (via LDAP queries) the results returned will depend on what you have defined for the filter for any particular report class under Sysadmin
- Sys Admin - This function will allow you to changes the system settings for LDAP server and port, base DN, Bind DN, username and password, and the database settings (mySQL only at this time). You may also add the report class definitions and their matching LDAP filters within this module
- User Admin - This screen is used to define users for the system and their rights. Usernames are used as the primary value, and entered values are validated via LDAP queries
- Audit Logs - The system logs all changes to the information stored and this page will allow you to review the data from these logs

fBuilder project is a web-based utility for building and configuring your iptables or ipchains based Linux firewall. Written by the author of fwconfig, our fBuilder product line brings you many new and exciting features that will fit your firewall creation needs.
InnerTek Software currently offers two versions of fBuilder: fBuilder Lite - a free, ipchains only version of fBuilder that includes a standard set of features and fBuilder Plus - includes edit, insert, and delete capabilities for firewall rules, automatic back traffic rule creation, log reporting and export capabilities.

The Auditor security collection is a Live-System based on KNOPPIX. With no installation whatsoever, the analysis platform is started directly from the CD-Rom and is fully accessible within minutes.
Independent of the hardware in use, the Auditor security collection offers a standardised working environment, so that the build-up of know-how and remote support is made easier. Even during the planning and development stages, our target was to achieve an excellent user-friendliness combined with an optimal toolset.
Professional open-source programs offer you a complete toolset to analyse your safety, byte for byte. In order to become quickly proficient within the Auditor security collection, the menu structure is supported by recognised phases of a security check. (Foot-printing, analysis, scanning, wireless, brute-forcing, cracking).
By this means, you instinctively find the right tool for the appropriate task. In addition to the approx. 300 tools, the Auditor security collection contains further background information regarding the standard configuration and passwords, as well as word lists from many different areas and languages with approx. 64 million entries.

GOALS

Jabber::Lite is intended to be a pure perl library for interacting with Jabber servers, and be able to run under any version of perl that has the Sockets library.

Jabber::Lite is, as the name implies, a small lite library for dealing with Jabber servers, implemented entirely in perl. Whilst it is small, it does try to be fairly complete for common tasks.
Whats in the box? Jabber::Lite is able to connect to a Jabber server, read from the socket, and supply XML objects to the application as the application reads them. Its function calls are mostly compatible with Jabber::NodeFactory and Jabber::Connection. Surprisingly, it can also function as a stand-alone XML parser (which was not the authors original intent, but hey, it works).
Whats not in the box? Any requirement for a recent perl version, UTF-8 support, as well as a fully XML-compliant Parser.

Applications using this library will need to be aware that this library uses a combination of pull and push methods of supplying XML objects. Handlers for given object types can be put in place, however if an object is not fully handled by a Handler, the object will block further objects until the Application retrieves it. Read the notes on ->process and ->get_latest() for further details.

The inbuilt parser, fully implemented in perl, is more properly termed an XML Recogniser. If you want a fully compliant XML Parser, look elsewhere. This one recognises just enough XML for its purposes.
