cexcept (pronounced "see except" in English) is a package providing a Try/Catch/Throw exception handling interface for ANSI C (C89 and subsequent ISO standards).

INTRODUCTION

I couldnt get Sound Juicer to rip mp3, GooBox encodes mp3 using VBR which screws up the mp3 times in Foobar2000. I wanted a simple mp3 ripper and i wanted to learn Python so I made my own.

Right now, its a straight forward ripper to mp3 with the format 128 kbps, 44100Hz, stereo. Comments, suggestions, improvements are all welcomed.

Taint is a Perl extension to taint variables.

Attempt to taint something unknown or undef

You tried tainting either a variable set to undef, or your version of perl has more types of variables than mine did when this module was written. Odds are, youre trying to taint a variable with an undef value like, for example, one that has been created (either explicitly or implicitly) but not had a value assigned.

Doing this:

taint($foo);

will trigger this error.

HTTP Proxy Client is the small set of libraries and scripts, which provides transparent access to Internet via HTTP proxy for programs, which uses TCP/IP for communication.
The list of programs includes: telnet, ftp, licq, cvs, smth else? Project implements dynamic library, that can be preloaded before program run.
The library substitutes some system calls (connect(), gethostbyaddr(), gethostbyname()), with calls, which makes TCP/IP connection through HTTP proxy. This allows client programs behind HTTP proxy work with Internet without limitations.
At the moment tested on i386 Linux, i386/sparc Solaris.
Enhancements:
- While using dotted address, applications will attempt to connect regardless DNS lookup result.

Tete project is an ear trainer.

Tete allows you to select intervals, chords, or scales and play examples of the selected sounds in a random order.

As each is played, it is highlighted in the list. Once you think you can tell what is playing, you can test yourself.

A series of sounds will be played, again at random, and you attempt to identify what has been played.

You can control how each sound is played back by changing the MIDI instrument, the octave range allowable, the root note, and whether the sounds are played ascending or descending.
