atomorun 1.1
Atomorun 1.1_pre2
Atomorun project is an OpenGL Jump&Run clone. more>>
In Atomorun, the character "Atomio" has to escape from an exploding nuclear bomb. The shockwave tries to catch you, so run as fast as you can!
It uses 3D OpenGL for the graphics, while the gameplay is 2D (just jump and run as fast as you can, left to right)
Enhancements:
- Forgot to put the body in a displaylist also...
- The glasses are black again (ooops)
- It is now possible to leave the "game over"-screen with a press on ENTER
- The level is now generated randomly and a little bit larger. Makes it much more difficult :)
- Redesigned the menu.
- Some code cleanup
- Added the acid fog, from which Atomio has to run away.
- Fixed bug, where you could change the direction of Atomio in the menu.
- Sound support added. (New dependency: SDL_mixer with ogg support)
- Textures are now stored in smaller and better PNGs. (New dependency: SDL_image with png support)
- If loading a PNG (or OGG) fails, it tries to load a BMP (or WAV). See docsINSTALL.win32, why. Grrr, why do I have to make a win32 build?
- Fixed menu bug. It was possible to press Escape in the menu after playing the game.
- Its now possible to change resolution and fullscreen mode with commandline arguments. Start "atomorun -h" for more help.

MoMEUnit 1.1.1
MoMEUnit is an instance of the xUnit architecture for unit testing of J2ME applications. more>>
It overcomes the lack of a reflection API in the J2ME MIDP API and supports main features of the JUnit framework such as ease of development and running of tests, sharing of fixtures among different tests, the ability to perform simultaneous test runs, and much more.
The results of tests are displayed with a progress bar, statistics, and lists of failures or errors with detailed messages for each test.
Main features:
- Calculates list of tests to run based on Test interface implementation and specified patterns. There is no need to specify test cases to run explicitly. Developers can add test cases without configuring test runners.
- Runs test cases of already built J2ME application or builds test application on behalf of developer based on source files, classes, resources and libraries specified.
- Preverifies J2ME application before running tests on demand.
- Formats tests run output by using predefined or custom tests results formatters like in task. All test characteristics including times and stack traces are available.
- Gives developers possibility to choose emulator and/or preverify tool to run by specifying predefined or custom emulator or preverifier.
- Gives developers possibility to configure test J2ME application by specifying attributes of application JAD descriptor and/or manifest.
Enhancements:
- Timeout functionality added to ant Integration package and MIDletTestRunner and minor bugs fixed.

KpovModeler 1.1.1
KPovModeler is a modeling and composition program for creating POV-Ray scenes in KDE. more>>
For most of the modelers, POV-Ray is nothing but a rendering engine and they bring a lot of limitations to the innate possibilities of POV-Ray scripted language. This is not the case for KPovModeler which allows you to use all the features of POV-Ray through the translation of POV-Ray language into a graphical tree.
Almost all options of POV-Rays script language can be used within KPovModeler. "Almost" because variables, loop instructions, macros and some operators cant directly be, unfortunately.
On the other hand, KPovModeler allows you to include a part of a script with the "Raw POV-Ray" tool; such a raw code will only be taken into account by POV-Ray during the rendering stage.
Main features:
- Management of the scene through a graphical tree.
- Object modification with control points in a graphical view or direct manipulation of object attributes in a dialog
- Nonblocking scene rendering with OpenGL as wire frame views
- Freely configurable view layout with dock widgets
- Copy/paste and drag/drop of (a subset of) povray(!) code into and out of the object tree
- Undo and redo
- Scene rendering and texture preview with povray inside the program
- Support for almost all povray objects
- Support for all textures
- Prototypes (declarations) and references
- All projection modes of the camera
For modeling an object, it is not required to know POV-Rays script language. On the other hand, for creating textures refering to POV-Rays documentation will be difficult to avoid.
But to ease the work, it is possible to simply cut-and-paste a script from POV-Ray into KPovModeler. KPovModeler will then, if the script only makes use of known primitives, convert the pasted text and include it into the current scene.
In other words, if you dont know how to create an object or an effect with KPovModeler, you could always copy its example from POV-Rays documentation and experiment with it within KPovModeler.
monq.jfa 1.1.1
monq.jfa is a class library for fast and flexible text filtering with regular expressions. more>>
In contrast to java.util.regex, monq.jfa allows to bind a regular expression to an action that is automatically called whenever a match is spotted in an input stream.
In addition it is possible to combine several tenthousand regex/action pairs into one machinery (called DFA).
The DFA filters input to output by looking for matches of all regular expressions in parallel, calling their actions to reformat the text or to incrementally built up a data structure.
The filtering speed is 1.5MB/s on P4 2.6GHz and is mostly unrelated to the number of regex/action pairs.
Enhancements:
- This is a bugfix release to correct improper unsynchronized reuse of an object within monq.jfa.actions.Printf.
- The user visible symptom would be garbled output.
CitrusDB 1.1.4

DataWorkshop 1.1.1
DataWorkshop is an editor to view and modify binary data. more>>
DataWorkshop 1.1.1 with its functionality will help you a lot. It is actually an editor to view and modify binary data. The editor provides different views which can be used to edit, analyze and export the binary data.
A simple hex view can be used to simulate a standard hexeditor but more complex dynamic views are possible to comfortable edit binary structure like executables or captured network traffic. DataWorkshop editor provides powerful search and diff functionality and user defined transformations.
Views can be filtered using the XPath query language (e.g. selecting several IP packets in a network traffic capture file). Also, views can be exported as in various formats for further processing. This can be used to convert old binary formats into modern xml tagged data.
Keep in mind the limitations:
- Too slow when editing large files (> 100MB) or using complex views
- Maximal data size 2 147 483 647 bytes (~ 2 GB)
Major features:
- Mulitplatform (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
- User defined view definitions which are compiled into complex data views
- Data view can can be exported as xml
- Data view can be queried using XPath syntax to generate a new data view (e.g. selecting several IP packages according to their flags)
- Configurable data encodings used to edit and view data (e.g Hex, Decimal, IEEE 754 Reals, USAscii, EBCDIC, TimeInMillis etc.)
- Configurable data transformation (e.g. Rot13 Encoder / Decoder)
- Diff tool with bit granularity
- Find and replace with bit granularity
- Data clipboard for cut, copy and paste
- Undo/Redo
- XML based storage for persistent data
- Data conversion between different formats (e.g little endian big endian, hexdump binary data)
- Read and write from sockets
Enhancements: 12 July 2004
- Open Source release
Requirements:
- Java 1.4
- 1.0 Ghz Processor with 256MB Ram
Pathogen Warrior 1.1.1
Pathogen Warrior project is a puzzle game about matching 3D model structures with a 2D hexagon map. more>>
Pathogen Warrior is a puzzle game about matching 3D model structures with a 2D hexagon map. It was one of the entrants to the 4th Ludum Dare 48-hour game development competition.
The theme of the competition was "Infection". In Pathogen Warrior, the players task is to match rotating 3D pathogen structures with a 2D model using a hexagon map.
The time to accomplish the task is limited, and after successfully completing one pathogen, the player is advanced to next level, which has a more challenging pathogen.
Enhancements:
- Updated music file.
- Added Linux Makefile (contributed by Ion).
- Added license notices to all source files.
jaxen 1.1.1
jaxen is a universal XPath evaluation engine. more>>
Enhancements:
- Assorted bugfixes, including one that affects the results of XPath expressions. Improved documentation.
ARAAS 1.1.1
ARAAS is a ticket-based authentication and authorization system. more>>
It consists of a J2EE web application to authenticate users and generate secure session tickets and an Apache module to verify the tickets. It is possible to use the tickets on multiple web servers to provide single-sign-on.
Users are authenticated against an LDAP server. However, the authentication mechanism is extendable to allow the use of other kinds of authentication servers.
Once the user is authenticated normal Apache authorization configuration can be used to grant access to web pages.
A later release of ARASS will also allow to centralize the authorization information in a separate repository, like a database or an LDAP server. This can be used by web applications to store generic authorization information, similar to OMGs RAD service.
Itzam 3.1.1
Itzam is an embedded database engine that creates and manipulates files containing variable-length random access records. more>>
Itzam is a deliberately portable, low-level C library that can (and will) be wrapped in C++, Java, Python, and Fortran 95. Higher level languages implement more complex heuristics on top of the Itzam core functions.
Main features:
Small Footprint
- Itzam Core adds less then 6K bytes to a program when linked statically.
Portability
- Itzam is deliberately portable across operating systems and platforms. A database created on Windows is readable by an Itzam application on a Linux machine. The current release ships with support for building and testing on Unix, Linx, and Windows operating systems.
No Dependencies
- Itzam does not have any dependencies on external libraries or components, beyond the common elements included with every Standard C compiler.
Flexibility
- Build your databases with indexes embedded in data files, or separate key information for the data it references, to provide different indexing schemes for different purposes. Iterator selectors provide flexible filtering to define subsets of a database.
Dual Licensing, GPL and Commercial
- Itzam can be licensed under either the GNU General Public License (GPL) or a simple non-free (closed-source) license. The GPL version is provided as is without support, while the commercial license provides technical assistance and notice of updates and bug fixes.
64-bit File Access
- Itzam is designed with 64-bit addressing in mind, and works with 64-bit Sun Solaris and 64-bit Linux.
C++, Python, and Fortran 95 Abstractions
- The core library, written in ANSI C, operates at a low-level, working directly with the operating system. While a low-level library can be a powerful tool for embedde3d and small systems, large-scale projects can benefit from a higher-level of abstraction. Development and testing is underway for C++, Python, and Fortran 95 "wrappers".
Documentation
- Ive written tutorial and API documentation to accompany Itzam. A complete example application, a contact database, is the basis for the tutorial.
Enhancements:
- Minor optimizations and code clean-up.
