Building the documentation:

Pre-built versions of the HTML documentation are available at http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gap/tech-docs/at-spi-docs/book1.html. However the documentation in the docs directory is the most up-to-date. Building the docs requires docbook and jade, see the gtk-doc package (from Gnome CVS) for more information.

Use of the AT-SPI:

Accessible applications will register with this registry service (via bonobo-activation) and adaptive/assistive technologies will register with the service as well, to indicate their interest in receiving UI events. ATs can also use the registrys services programmatically to query accessible applications.

Running the test programs:

At the moment the only clients and are two test at clients (at and simple-at). There is also a test app (app) in the tests subdirectory.

If you have a working ORBit2/bonobo-activation installation you can run the tests after adding the registryd directory to the bonobo-activation directory list with bonobo-activation-sysconf, or by installing Accessibility_Registry.server in your bonobo-activation servers directory.

You can then run ./at and ./app from the test directory, to see app register as an application, and at as a listening client. Bonobo should take care of the job of bootstrapping the registry daemon (registryd) for you. These test programs use the bonobo/CORBA C bindings directly.

T-Sim project is an early version of a helicopter simulator for GNU/Linux.

It already has random terrain generation, a 3D cockpit view with working instruments and an external view. The flight model, however, is still very simplistic.

t-prot (TOFU Protection) is a filter which improves the readability of email messages and Usenet posts by hiding some of their annoying parts.
The annoyances it handles include mailing list footers, signatures, TOFU, sequences of blank lines, and repeated punctuation.
TOFU is an acronym that stands for "Text oben, Fullquote unten", a German reference to the practice of adding just a few lines of original text and quoting a complete message below them.

- A new option was added to skip processing of very large and time-consuming messages.

The Rose::DateTime::* modules provide a few convenience functions and objects for use with DateTime dates.

Rose::DateTime::Util contains a simple date parser and a slightly customized date formatter.

Rose::DateTime::Parser encapsulates a date parser with an associated default time zone.

This module (Rose::DateTime) exists mostly to provide a version number for CPAN. See the individual modules for some actual documentation.

No-relay SMTP daemon is a lightweight mail server whose sole purpose is to receive incoming messages and deliver them to local users. Its main "feature" (or non-feature, really) is to be completely unable to relay messages to adjacent servers: if an incoming message is not addressed to a local mailbox, smtpd will reject it.

Another convenient feature is its automatic grey-listing of clients that allows you to efficiently reject spammers based on their behaviour. No-relay SMTP daemon can handle incoming email traffic for an unlimited number of domains (i.e. act as a MX for these domains) without the need for any configuration (other than creation of users mailboxes).

Returns a message describing the last error that occurred.

european_dates [BOOL]

Get or set a boolean flag that determines how "xx/xx/xxxx" dates are parsed by the parse_date function. If set to a false-but-defined value, then such dates are parsed as "mm/dd/yyyy". If set to true, then theyre parsed as "dd/mm/yyyy". If set to undef, then the attribute resets to its initial value, which is determined as described below.

The initial value of this attribute is chosen based on the current locale as stored in DateTimes DefaultLocale setting. This initial value is looked up only once. Any subsequent changes to DateTimes DefaultLocale setting will be ignored until/unless this attribute is reset to undef.

time_zone [TZ]

Get or set the default time zone. This value is passed to DateTime->new(...) as the value of the time_zone parameter when parse_date() creates the DateTime object that it returns. The default value is "floating".
