Free artwork.pl 0.1 software for linux

Artwork.pl is a script to retrieve album art images from the APIC frame of ID3v2 MP3 tags. It places the album art image file in the MP3 folder with the name of your choosing.

It requires the MP3::Tag, File::Find, Image::Magick Perl modules. This project is an effective tool to create album art JPEG files for music jukebox applications such as Andromeda and Jinzora.

tr_panel is a a very minimal xlib panel for unix/linux based operating systems.

Its used to launch applications.

NAMP (NetBSD + Apache + MySQL + PostgreSQL + PHP) is the NetBSD equivalent of the popular LAMP deployment in the Linux world.

It also includes phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin for easy administration of the database engines.

NAMP is available as a VMware appliance.

Enhancements:
- PDF Grouping alternative styles now render correctly.
- An issue with Renderer::Hooks causing silent failures was resolved.
- A conflict with the rdoc library was also fixed, as well as some other minor bugs.

par2repair is a useful script to fix par2 files. Just add it to your /servicemenus/ folder and right click on any par2 files.

Its my first script so its pretty straight forward.

krickscore is a simple score ticker for KDE that displays the latest cricket scores on the taskbar.

KPSP provides an IOSlave for the PSP (Playstation Portable).
You just simply connect your PSP to your computer, start Konqueror and type "psp:/".
Installation from source:
Get the source-package from the download page.
tar xfvz kio_psp-< VERSION >.tar.gz
cd kio_psp-< VERSION >
./configure --prefix=< where KDE is installed >
make
make install # Probably you need root-privileges

You have to download the sources from CVS:

Get the admin-directory, used by the build-system.

Enhancements:
- Virtual root-folders have an access-type
- Creation of a folder failed when the media-folder wasnt created before.
- Better integration into the KDE Control Center

taskbar-compiz is a modified taskbar applet for kicker to make it work with compiz.

The work is inspired by kicker-compiz pager (http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=46021)

Please note: currently you cant change "Show windows from all desktops" settings while beryl is running, so uncheck it before or uncheck in manually in .kde/share/config/ktaskbarrc

Currently working:

- all standard taskbar features
- task button filtering by compiz viewport

Known buggy or can be improved:

- "Show windows from all desktop" options in taskbar settings are not shown when running under compiz
- task sorting by compiz viewport
- sometimes I cant minimize window by clicking on its button in taskbar

The code is based on the taskbar applet taken from kdebase-3.5.5.

To install the package, follow the generic instructions found in the INSTALL file. Generally, you will want to install it in your KDE directory, using:

./configure --prefix=kde-config --prefix
make
make install

You will likely have to use superuser rights to execute the last make install.

(Alternatively, you may choose to install in a different directory, using for example:

./configure --prefix=/opt/taskbar-compiz
make
make install

For this to work, you will need to tell KDE about the new prefix, by ensuring that KDEDIRS contains it, e.g. export KDEDIRS=/opt/taskbar-compiz:/usr and then restart KDE.)

Once it is installed, use the kicker dialog to add a new applet, and the taskbar will appear in the list (Right-click on kicker, then "add an applet to the panel" -> "Taskbar - Compiz").
