Free arcade street software for linux

Wah!Cade is a GNU/Linux friendly clone of Minwahs excellent MameWAH.
Wah!Cade is a front end for the M.A.M.E. arcade game emulator. Support for other games and emulators will hopefully be added soon.
The source code is released under the GNU GPL license.

GPL Arcade Volleyball is an SDL remake of the old dos game Arcade Volleyball for several platforms (currently Linux, Windows, BeOS and Mac OS X are supported).

So far it is playable already, but we are planning on introducing several extra features with respect to the original game, while still preserving its sheer addictiveness! So far we already added:

- themes support
- networking game
- more than 2 players games
- several configuration options

Why AV?

It is fun. Play it for awhile: it is simple, fast, it just catches on. Its silly -- yes -- but try and play it with friends. It takes 5 seconds to figure out how to play, and the funky physics somehow just appeals. You could see it as a party game; say youre throwing a party, youd have that sort of game in the middle of several drinks, projected on a large screen, to have people have fun, engage in tournaments and laugh all through the game. Just as youd have with, say, pong. You wouldnt play Warcraft or Flight Simulator in those situations, or would you. Even for a nerds party were talking about.

Alien Blaster project is an action-loaded 2D arcade shooter game for up to two players.

CabFE project is a frontend for xmame and daphne on arcade cabinets.
CabFE is a multi-emulator frontend for MAME, Daphne, and other arcade games.
It is designed specifically for arcade cabinets that have a minimal set of controls, typically only a joystick and a few buttons.
Main features:
- Mostly themeable. One sample theme is included.
- Filtering by Categories
- Tracks play time and creates an automatic Favourites list
- Configurable key bindings.
- No Mouse necessary. Just joystick and arcade buttons

Geo::StreetAddress::US is a Perl extension for parsing US street addresses.

Geo::StreetAddress::US is a regex-based street address and street intersection parser for the United States. Its basic goal is to be as forgiving as possible when parsing user-provided address strings.

Geo::StreetAddress::US knows about directional prefixes and suffixes, fractional building numbers, building units, grid-based addresses (such as those used in parts of Utah), 5 and 9 digit ZIP codes, and all of the official USPS abbreviations for street types and state names.

xrockman is a retro arcade/puzzle game based on Rockman for the VIC20 by M & S Srebalius and published by Mastertronic in the 1980s.

xrockman is written for Xlib so requires little in the way of dependencies and runs on slow computers.

The project is licensed under the terms of the GPL.

To build, ensure that libx11-dev is installed and then say "make".

Koncert project is an arcade videogame clone for KDE/Qt.
Koncert is a clone of an old C64 arcade game (Rootin Tootin), written for KDE/Qt. Its part of the K64 project.

Intruder Alert is an arcade maze game.

Intruder Alert is a free top-down 2D maze arcade game written in FreePascal using the SDL library for multimedia output.

Its a hobby project and was inspired by 80s classics like wolfenstein 2d and alien breed.
