Prima::Application is root of widget objects hierarchy.

Prima::Application class serves as a hierarchy root for all objects with child-owner relationship. All toolkit objects, existing with non-null owner property, belong by their top-level parental relationship to Prima::Application object. There can be only one instance of Prima::Application class at a time.

USAGE

Prima::Application class, and its only instance are treated specially throughout the toolkit. The object instance is contained in

$::application

scalar, defined in Prima.pm module. The application instance must be created whenever widget and window, or event loop functionality is desired. Usually

use Prima::Application;

code is enough, but $::application can also be assigned explicitly. The use syntax has advantage as more resistant to eventual changes in the toolkit design. It can also be used in conjunction with custom parameters hash, alike the general create() syntax:

use Prima::Application name => Test application, icon => $icon;

In addition to this functionality Prima::Application is also a wrapper to a set of system functions, not directly related to object classes. This functionality is generally explained in "API".

Meldware Communication Suite is a platform independent groupware package consisting of:

Together the package provides support for thousands of users to concurrently send and receive email and schedule meetings. MCS uniquely allows you to store all messages and scheduling events in nearly any database and runs on nearly all popular software and hardware platforms.
Additionally, while the scheduling and calendaring services are able to be installed separately, the integrated featureset provides both a unique and powerful experience to both users and server-side Mail Based Applications and Collaboration Based Application Services.
The MCS platform provides security integration using LDAP sources including Microsoft Active Directory as well as flat-file and Database sources. Additionally, extensible security allows custom authentication/authorization sources.
Enhancements:
- IMAP is now stable with Mozilla Thunderbird and POP/SMTP are production ready.
- New Filestore code was implemented and many improvements were made in mailbox and storage code.

CGI::Application::Plugin::RateLimit is a plugin for CGI::Application which provides protection against a user calling a runmode too frequently. A typical use-case might be a contact form that sends email.

Youd like to allow your users to send you messages, but thousands of messages from a single user in a short period of time would be a problem.

Installation:

To install this module type the following:

AppsUnit toolkit assists with the testing of your Oracle e-business suite code. It tests views, PL/SQL packages, concurrent requests, and more.
No software needs to be installed on the application server. Results are made available as a PDF report.
Enhancements:
- The example test kit is available for download.
- The suite uses some of the apps foundation views as an example.
- These views are unit tested, and the results are available as HTML and PDF reports.

- This is the first milestone release with WCAP, freebusy for webmail, and mature IMAP all together.
- It has undergone extensive hardening, dogfooding, and QA testing.
- The WCAP protocol for calendaring now works well for Thunderbird and Lightning 0.3.
- Webmail calendaring was greatly improved.
- The abillity to download attachments has been added to the webmail interface.
- Numerous performance improvements have been made in SMTP, IMAP, and MIME parsing since 1.0-M7.

The Coldtags suite is a collection of custom JSP tags that provides 90+ custom JSP tags for common programming tasks faced by JSP developers.
Coldtags suite also includes custom tags similar to the Web controls in the .NET framework.
Enhancements:
- New components were added, so the total amount is over 305 now.
- Features were updated for the existing taglibs, docs, and examples.
- Enhancements were made for many controls.

TAHI Test Suite provides a mechanism for validating an IPv6 implementation against a standardized test for conformance to the IPv6 specification, extensions and directly related protocols.
TAHI Project is the joint effort formed with the objective of developing and providing the verification technology for IPv6.
The growth process of IPv4 was the history of encountering various kinds of obstacles and conquering such obstacles. However, once the position as infrastructure was established, it is not allowed to repeat the same history. This is a reason why the verification technology is essential for IPv6 deployment.
We research and develop conformance tests and interoperability tests for IPv6.
We closely work with the KAME project and USAGI project. We help activities of them in the quality side by offering the verification technology we develop in the TAHI project and improve the development efficiency.
We open the results and fruits of the project to the public for FREE. Any developer concerned with IPv6 can utilize the results and fruits of TAHI project freely. A free software plays an important role in progress of the Internet. We believe that providing the verification technology for FREE contributes to advances of IPv6. Besides the programs, the specifications and criteria of verification will be included in the Package.
Enhancements:
- This release extends the tests in the specification and code.
- There are assorted minor bugfixes.

Openwall tcb suite package contains core components of our tcb suite implementing the alternative password shadowing scheme on Owl.

It is being made available separately from Owl primarily for use by other distributions. Note that you need to have the password hashing framework introduced with crypt_blowfish patched into glibc to compile and use this.

The package consists of three components: pam_tcb, libnss_tcb, and libtcb.
pam_tcb is a PAM module which supersedes pam_unix. It also implements the tcb password shadowing scheme.

The tcb scheme allows many core system utilities (passwd(1) being the primary example) to operate with little privilege. libnss_tcb is the accompanying NSS module. libtcb contains code shared by the PAM and NSS modules and is also used by user management tools on Owl due to our shadow suite patches.
