An open Quality of Service Architecture 0.3.1

An open Quality of Service Architecture 0.3.1

An open Quality of Service Architecture is an open architecture for the provisioning of Quality of Service related functionality more>>
An open Quality of Service Architecture is an open architecture for the provisioning of Quality of Service related functionality into the Linux kernel.
The project features a flexible, portable and lightweight software architecture for supporting QoS related services on the top of a general-purpose operating system as Linux. The architecture is well founded on formal scheduling analysis and control theoretical results.
At the core of the software there is an adaptive Resource Reservation layer that is capable of dynamically adapting the CPU allocation for QoS aware applications based on its run-time requirements.
As it is highlighted by the AQuoSA architecture, the project is mainly composed of two components:
- the QoS Res module, for which you can browse online the kernel, application and internal APIs
- the QoS Mgr module, for which you can browse online the kernel, application and internal APIs
Enhancements:
- Some bug fixed

man-pages 2.63

man-pages 2.63

The manpages package contains a large collection of man pages for Linux covering programming APIs, file formats, protocols, etc. more>>
Linux documentation can be found in man pages, info files, HOWTOs and FAQs, and elsewhere. (For example, also the kernel Documentation directory contains a lot of good stuff.) A nice index for the man pages in Fedora Core 2 is found at the superman site.

Man pages belonging to programs are usually distributed together with those programs. Therefore, the Linux man-pages distribution mainly contains the pages for system calls and library routines, special devices, and file formats.

However, it also contains documentation for a number of programs, in cases where the authors or maintainers of the program do not distribute man pages themselves.

PyOpenGL project is the cross platform Python binding to OpenGL and related APIs. The binding is created using the SWIG wrapper generator, and is provided under an extremely liberal BSD-style Open-Source license.
PyOpenGL includes support for OpenGL v1.1, GLU, GLUT v3.7, GLE 3, WGL 4, and Togl (Tk OpenGL widget) 1.6. It also includes support for dozens of extensions (where supported in the underlying implementation).
PyOpenGL is interoperable with a large number of external GUI libraries for Python including (Tkinter, wxPython, FxPy, PyGame, and Qt).
Installation:
"python setup.py install"
See "python setup.py install --help" for options.
Enhancements:
- This early alpha release includes the new "raw" API, which provides the C/ctypes API hierarchy for use by low-level coders. It also includes more formally defined support for OpenGL versions 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 and 2.0, only 1.2 and 1.3 support has had any noticeable testing.

Catkin QTM 0.5.3 / 0.5.4 Beta 2

Catkin QTM 0.5.3 / 0.5.4 Beta 2

Catkin QTM is a blog management app which uses the Blogger, MetaWeblog and Movable Type APIs. more>>
Catkin QTM is a blog management app which uses the MetaWeblog, Blogger and Movable Type APIs to submit and (in the future) edit and otherwise manage entries on a blog.

Presently, however, it is possible to compose, format, preview and submit entries, in one or more categories, and edit newly submitted entries. This is a development snapshot release. Requires Qt 4.1.

This is by the same author as the Catkin application, which was a manager for Blosxom blogs. This is a fresh rewrite, using Qt 4.1 (instead of 3.3) and with the Blosxom-related parts removed.

They are still in CVS, however, and may be restored in the future. The old releases are still available at Sourceforge

GData Java Client 1.13.0

GData Java Client provides a library and source code that make it easy to access data through Google Data APIs. more>>
GData Java Client provides a library and source code that make it easy to access data through Google Data APIs.

The Google data APIs ("GData" for short) provide a simple standard protocol for reading and writing data on the web. GData combines common XML-based syndication formats (Atom and RSS) with a feed-publishing system based on the Atom publishing protocol, plus some extensions for handling queries.

Google also provides a set of client libraries for interacting with GData-enabled services, in a variety of programming languages. Using these libraries, you can construct GData requests, send them to a service, and receive responses.

LibOrb is a library for comminicating with a SpaceOrb 360 and Spaceball Avenger Six-Degree-Of-Freedom virtual reality controllers made by Spacetec IMC.

The SpaceOrb allows you to move and rotate in any direction simultaneously. The device connects to your machine via a standard RS-232 serial interface. LibOrb can be used along with OpenGL or other real-time graphics APIs to write virtual reality software, games, or other applications.

The orb provides high resolution translational and rotational information, suitable for even the most demanding tasks. The orb has 6 general purpose buttons and 1 hardware reset button, all of which can be read by an application using LibOrb.

LibOrb has been used successfully on Sun Solaris 2.[56], SGI IRIX 6.2, Linux, OpenBSD, and Windows NT.

Audio::TagLib::AudioProperties 1.42

Audio::TagLib::AudioProperties 1.42

Audio::TagLib::AudioProperties is a simple, abstract interface to common audio properties. more>>
Audio::TagLib::AudioProperties is a simple, abstract interface to common audio properties.

DESCRIPTION

The values here are common to most audio formats. For more specific, codec dependant values, please see see the subclasses APIs. This is meant to compliment the Audio::TagLib::File and Audio::TagLib::Tag APIs in providing a simple interface that is sufficient for most applications.

%_ReadStyle

Reading audio properties from a file can sometimes be very time consuming and for the most accurate results can often involve reading the entire file. Because in many situations speed is critical or the accuracy of the values is not particularly important this allows the level of desired accuracy to be set.

keys %Audio::TagLib::AudioProperties::_ReadStyle lists all available values used in Perl code.

see FLAC::Properties MPC::Properties MPEG::Properties Vorbis::Properties

DESTROY()

Destroys this AudioProperties instance.

length() [pure virtual]

Returns the lenght of the file in seconds.

bitrate() [pure virtual]

Returns the most appropriate bit rate for the file in kb/s. For constant bitrate formats this is simply the bitrate of the file. For variable bitrate formats this is either the average or nominal bitrate.

sampleRate() [pure virtual]

Returns the sample rate in Hz.

channels() [pure virtual]

Returns the number of audio channels.
