Apache DSSI 1.0.0

Apache DSSI 1.0.0

Apache DSSI is a SSI extention for calling Dynamic function. more>>
Apache DSSI is a SSI extention for calling Dynamic function.

By using this extentions to mod_include, you can make your own function for SSI (Server Side Includes) and you can call your function with SSI directives. This solution is based on mod_so and mod_include. By using DSSI, you can integrate your CGI easily and make your CGI faster than any other CGI accelerator.

Installation:

Download and compile Apache 1.3.X
Simply download dssi_1.0.0.tar.gz
Unzip and untar.
Replace apache_1.3.X/src/modules/standard/mod_include.c with this mod_include.c
Configure.
./configure --enable-module=include
If your binary type is ELF,
LDFLAGS="-export-dynamic" ./configure --enable-module=include
Compile and install apache.

Enabling DSSI

By using LoadDSSI directive, you can load your dynamic functions. Later one override earlier ones. It means, you can only call functions of the last one with DSSI directive.

AddType text/html .shtml
AddHandler server-parsed .shtml
LoadDSSI libexec/dssi_util.so
LoadDSSI libexec/dssi.so

Apache::Cache 0.05

Apache::Cache 0.05

Apache::Cache is a cache data accessible between Apache childrens. more>>
Apache::Cache is a cache data accessible between Apache childrens.

SYNOPSIS

use Apache::Cache qw(:status);

my $cache = new Apache::Cache(default_expires_in=>"5 minutes");

# if the if the next line is called within 10 minutes, then this
# will return the cache value overwise, this will return undef and the
# status method will be equal to the constant EXPIRED (exported by Apache::Cache
# on demande via the :status tag)

# the next line try to get the data from the cache, if the data is stored in
# in the cache and if it not expired, then this return the data. Otherwise
# if data have never been store in the cache, or if its expired, this will
# return undef and the status() method will be equal to constant EXPIRED (exported
# by Apache::Cache on demand, via the :status tag)

my $value = $cache->get(Key);

if($cache->status eq EXPIRED)
{
# cant get the data from the cache, we will need to get it by the normal way
# (via database, from file...)
$value = get_my_data(Key); # here, the get_my_data() function is a function of your
# programe that generate a fresh value

# this data have to expires in 30 secondes
my $expires_in = 30 secondes;
$cache->set(Key => $value, $expires_in);
}
elsif($cache->status eq FAILURE)
{
# dont use cache, cache maybe busy by another child or something goes wrong
$value = get_my_data(Key);
}

This module allows you to cache data easily through shared memory. Whithin the framework of an apache/mod_perl use, this cache is accessible from any child process. The data validity is managed in the Cache::Cache model, but as well based on time than on size or number of keys.

Additionnally, you can implement a cache with Apache::Cache in your module without the risk of namespace clash because Apache::Cache is enclosed in the constructors packages caller (see Apache::SharedMem for more details).

Apache Solr 1.2

Apache Solr 1.2

Apache Solr is a high performace search server based on Lucene. more>>
Apache Solr is a high performace search server based on Lucene, with XML/HTTP and JSON APIs, hit highlighting, faceted search, caching, replication, and a Web administration interface.
The project is currently under incubation at the Apache Software Foundation.
Instructions for Building Apache Solr
1. Download the J2SE 5.0 JDK (Java Development Kit) or later from http://java.sun.com. You will need the JDK installed, and the %JAVA_HOME%bin directory included on your command path. To test this, issue a "java -version" command from your shell and verify that the Java version is 5.0 or later.
2. Download the Apache Ant binary distribution from http://ant.apache.org. You will need Ant installed and the %ANT_HOME%bin directory included on your command path. To test this, issue a "ant -version" command from your shell and verify that Ant is available.
3. Download the Apache Solr source distribution, linked from the above incubator web site. Expand the distribution to a folder of your choice, e.g. c:solr.
4. Navigate to that folder and issue an "ant" command to see the available options for building, testing, and packaging solr.
Enhancements:
- This is the first release since graduating from the Apache Incubator.
- Some of the new features include CSV/delimited-text data loading, time based autocommit, faster faceting, negative filters, a spell-check handler, sounds-like word filters, regex text filters, and more flexible plugins.

Apache::TestMB 1.28

Apache::TestMB 1.28

Apache::TestMB is a subclass of Module::Build to support Apache::Test. more>>
Apache::TestMB is a subclass of Module::Build to support Apache::Test.

SYNOPSIS

Standard process for building & installing modules:
perl Build.PL
./Build
./Build test
./Build install

Or, if youre on a platform (like DOS or Windows) that doesnt like the "./" notation, you can do this:

perl Build.PL
perl Build
perl Build test
perl Build install

This class subclasses Module::Build to add support for testing Apache integration with Apache::Test. It is broadly based on Apache::TestMM, and as such adds a number of build actions to a the Build script, while simplifying the process of creating Build.PL scripts.

Heres how to use Apache::TestMB in a Build.PL script:

use Module::Build;

my $build_pkg = eval { require Apache::TestMB }
? Apache::TestMB : Module::Build;

my $build = $build_pkg->new(
module_name => My::Module,
);
$build->create_build_script;

This is identical to how Module::Build is used. Not all target systems may have Apache::Test (and therefore Apache::TestMB installed, so we test for it to be installed, first. But otherwise, its use can be exactly the same. Consult the Module::Build documentation for more information on how to use it; Module::Build::Cookbook may be especially useful for those looking to migrate from ExtUtils::MakeMaker.

Apache Users project is an Apache username enumerator, via /~username requests. more>>
Apache Users project is an Apache username enumerator, via /~username requests. This script uses a list of common system names like root, admin etc ...

You should manually check the issue to establish the http return code, ie: 403 as this is needed for the command line. No native SSL support.

USAGE apache.pl -h 1.2.3.4 -l names -p 80 (No SSL Support) -e 403 (http code)

Apache Cocoon 2.1.10

Apache Cocoon 2.1.10

Apache Cocoon is a web development framework. more>>
Apache Cocoon is a web development framework built around the concepts of separation of concerns and component-based web development.

Apache Cocoon implements these concepts around the notion of component pipelines, each component on the pipeline specializing on a particular operation.

This makes it possible to use a Lego(tm)-like approach in building web solutions, hooking together components into pipelines without any required programming.

Apache Cocoon is "web glue for your web application development needs". It is a glue that keeps concerns separate and allows parallel evolution of all aspects of a web application, improving development pace and reducing the chance of conflicts.

Apache::TestRun 1.28

Apache::TestRun 1.28

Apache::TestRun is a Perl module to run the test suite. more>>
Apache::TestRun is a Perl module to run the test suite.

SYNOPSIS

The Apache::TestRun package controls the configuration and running of the test suite.

METHODS

Several methods are sub-classable, if the default behavior should be changed.

bug_report

The bug_report() method is executed when t/TEST was executed with the -bugreport option, and make test (or t/TEST) fail. Normally this is callback which you can use to tell the user how to deal with the problem, e.g. suggesting to read some document or email some details to someone who can take care of it. By default nothing is executed.

The -bugreport option is needed so this feature wont become annoying to developers themselves. Its automatically added to the run_tests target in Makefile. So if you repeateadly have to test your code, just dont use make test but run t/TEST directly. Here is an example of a custom t/TEST

My::TestRun->new->run(@ARGV);

package My::TestRun;
use base Apache::TestRun;

sub bug_report {
my $self = shift;
