The Graidle project is realized in PHP with the aid of GD2 library.

Klaid - K Learning Aid pops up kvtml file items on the desktop. Use KWordQuiz or FlashKard to produce kvtml files and load them into Klaid. It will grab all complete n x m related items (e.g. "Question" and "Answer", or "Word A" and "Word B") and displays them periodically as PopUps on the desktop. It is like someone is sitting behind you making sure you know all the terms for your next exam or test while surfing the web, coding, or whatever.
Intsllation:
Extract the archive, run "make -f Makefile.cvs && ./configure --prefix=PATH" first. Insert your KDE base installation dir for PATH. In Debian sid and Kubuntu that would be "/usr".
Then compile by typing "make". You may then install the program (as root) via checkinstall or "make install".

pam_shield is a PAM module that uses iptables to lock out script kiddies that probe your computer for open logins and/or easy guessable passwords. The project is meant as an aid to protect public computers on the open internet.

Everybody knows it is unwise to leave computers largely unprotected connected to the internet. However, there are cases in which this is still common practice. For exampe, academic sites with hundreds of users often have a policy of allowing logins from over the world. They are under constant attack by "kiddies" trying to break in to the system by password guessing. pam_shield aims to detect and block these "kiddies".

pam_shield was developed by Walter de Jong in 2006 and 2007.

PitaCard is a program for creating and reviewing flashcards. PitaCard was initially designed for aiding language study and has strong multi-language support.

PitaCard is written in python using the PyGTK bindings to the GTK+ library.

Ryans In/Out Board is a perl driven in/out board for small-medium size organisations that needs staff to be aware of other staff whereabouts.
(Ryans In/Out Board will work for larger organisations but it may be more cumbersome to use with larger numbers of staff).
Main features:
- Displays name,phone,status,comments and date/time for each staff member
- Staff are able to quickly change their status by either clicking on their name or calling the main script with a "name" parameter.
- Standard comments are provided (Lunch, Leave etc) but can be added to/replaced by any comment the user wishes.
- With the aid of a cron job it will also clear all staff as OUT every night, without removing any comments they have entered.
- It has a simple and clear interface and users can also search for the status of any staff member.
- The generated page can be automatically refreshed at your chosen interval and status colours are defined by you.

ClanLib is a cross platform C++ framework. Essentially the library offers a series of different functionality under a streamlined API. Its primary focus is on games, although its not limited for that usage only.

Framework libraries generally support the same things that can be gained by combining other specialized libraries. However, a good framework will combine and simplify the usage through a common set of conventions. The primary goal of ClanLib is to aid developers to rapidly create games and other applications.

AJAX Image Dump System or AIDS for short, is a image dump system written in PHP and Javascript using MYSQL databases, with AJAX functionality using the jquery library and the MOD_REWRITE Apache module to shorten down URL-addresses. The system also uses the XTemplate.
Enhancements:
- Fixed the bug causing the second image uploaded to fail, and send the user to the upload.php page.

OpenTranscribe is software to aid musicians in transcribing music. It lets you slow down a part of the music without affecting pitch.
It also lets you loop over a section which has some tricky parts. OpenTranscribe was inspired by the Transcribe! software published by Seventh String Software.
The software provides looping and slowing down function that eases the process of transcribing music.
At first I planned for a GUI application, but lack the skills for it. So I have created a "library" on top of some other libraries that enables the basic functionality required. And I have coded a text based client which is adequate for my own use on top of the library. The text based client is named "tot" (Text Open Transcribe).
Check the INSTALL file for dependancies and TODO file for stuffs that I have in mind but have no time to implement.
