General Graphical User Interface 0.5.1

General Graphical User Interface is a wizard-like environment to execute console commands graphically. more>>
General Graphics User Interface is an effort to produce a common graphical user interface for any command-line program.

It uses a wizard-like input front end to collect the information needed. It then calls the desired program automatically with all the necessary options.

The user is able to point&click on various options and select them in a convenient way. In order to create a new user-interface, a user doesnt need to know a programming language, since there is a graphical editor for new GGUI "scripts".

Free Open FTP Face 0.99.5

Free Open FTP Face 0.99.5

Free Open FTP Face is a graphical FTP client, written in Python. more>>
Free Open FTP Face is a graphical FTP client, written in Python.

Free Open FTP Face is a lightweight graphical (GTK+) FTP client. It is multiplatform, easy to use, has a built in text viewer, image viewer (very fast), and one-click gzip (de)/compression. Although it is a functional GUI, you can also input OS and FTP commands.

Its emphasis is on simplicity, convenience, and ease of use. Many free FTP clients for Windows lack the clean, uncluttered interface that gFTP on Linux has, for example.

The idea behind the built-in text and image viewers, is that regardless of the operating system, you can instantly view text and image files since theres no overhead from loading an external program.

Graphical certification authority 0.6.4

Graphical certification authority 0.6.4

Graphical certification authority project is a graphical user interface to OpenSSL, RSA/DSA public keys, certificates,etc. more>>
Graphical certification authority project is a graphical user interface to OpenSSL, RSA/DSA public keys, certificates, signing requests and revokation lists.
The keys have an internal counter, counting its use to avoid a duplicate use of a key for creating a certificate or request.
The Keys are of course encrypted in the db file.
Xca supports next to the usual PEM and DER format of certificates the import and export of PKCS#12 (aka *.pfx) files and the Certificate import from PKCS#7 files.
Certificates can be created by self signing it, by signing it by an other (usually CA) certificate or by signing a PKCS#10 request. Netscape SPKAC is supported since version 0.4.6. The validity dates and x509.v3 extensions can be adjusted to fit ones needs. The use of multiple certificates in CA chains is supported and a tree view of the certificates reflects the dependencies. The application takes care to not create duplicate certificates by checking the serial number(s) on import and creation of certificates.
Certificate Templates can be used to preset the input dialog with reasonable values and to simplify the process of creating certificates and requests.
Issued certificates can be revoked and the revokation list can be created and exported. External revokation lists can be imported and examined.
Enhancements:
- This version fixes an issue where some CA signed certificates were not sorted correctly below that CA.
- Malformed certificates no longer cause a crash.
- The string encoding rules for the distinguished name can now be set in the options dialog and PKCS#10 attributes can be set and inspected.

Main features:
- Nice graphics (JPEG)
- Antialiased text rendering (TrueType)
- Animations (MNG)
- Progress Bar
- Display of boot messages above or below a graphic. ("verbose" and "silent" modes)

screen-scraper 3.0

screen-scraper 3.0

screen-scraper is a tool for extracting data from Web sites. more>>
screen-scraper project is a tool used to extract data from web sites. You might use screen-scraper for the following purposes:
- Data Mining and Extraction
- Data Migration
- Application Integration
- Business Intelligence
- Web Task Automation
- Portal Components
- Meta-Searching
- Archiving
The screen-scraper application consists of two primary pieces:
- Workbench: A graphical user interface provides an intuitive approach that allows you to designate pages and specific pieces of information to be extracted.
- Server: After using the workbench to designate the data to be scraped, screen-scraper can be run in a server mode, much like a database. External applications can then connect to screen-scraper, which will pull data off of the designated web sites, then return them to the calling application. For example, you might build a web-based application using Active Server Pages (ASP) or PHP that invokes screen-scraper to search for products found on an external web site in real-time.
Additionally, screen-scraper can be started in a non-graphical mode from the command line such that it can be scheduled or invoked on-demand.
screen-scraper can automate many of the tasks typically required when scraping data from web pages, such as tracking cookies, logging in to web sites, and traversing search results pages.
Depending on the programming languages and platforms you most prefer, screen-scraper is likely to be familiar to you. screen-scraper contains an internal scripting engine that supports:
- VBScript
- JScript
- Perl
- Interpreted Java
- JavaScript
- Python
When invoking screen-scraper externally take your pick from the following languages:
- Java
- PHP
- Anything COM-based (such as Active Server Pages, Visual Basic, and Visual C++)
- .NET (both Microsoft-based and Mono)
- Cold Fusion
Enhancements:
- Several bugfixes and minor features have been added, including automatic backup of the database, enhanced HTML rendering and HTML stripping, fixing an error that caused duplicate scripts to appear at times on import, and fixing multiple errors relating to international character sets and non-ASCII characters.

Non-Networked File System 2.1.9

Non-Networked File System 2.1.9

Non-Networked File System is a symmetric synchronisation of filesystems on non-networked hosts. more>>
Non-Networked File System provides a consistent file system over several non networked UNIX computers (or slow networked). For example on your computer at home and at work using only a floppy disk for the synchronisation.
Main features:
- You are sure to work on the latest version of files.
- You dont need to remember which files are modified on an host and must be transfered on others.
- You dont need to made backup, because if a computer crash the file system is still on the other computers working with NNFS.
- The NNFS medium is choosen by a user shell script, it could be: floppy disk, usb key, serial connection, ...
- Minimal NNFS medium bandwidth to make the updates.
- EASY TO USE: Running ``nnfs command before and after your work.
- Numbered backup of files modified/deleted on NNFS.
- If you modify the same file on several hosts NNFS solves the update conflict.
- The program has been hugely tested.
Enhancements:
- This release fixes the case where the user modifies a file mode while NNFS is running and NNFS is configured in order that a file mode change does not imply file synchronization.

IsaMorph 0.9

IsaMorph 0.9

IsaMorph is a GNU/Linux Live CD (based on Morphix) featuring the interactive theorem prover Isabelle. more>>
IsaMorph is a linux distribution Live CD (based on Morphix) featuring the interactive theorem prover Isabelle.
This means, you can boot from the CD and get a fully operational "theorem proving" environment without installing GNU/Linux or Isabelle. Just insert the CD in your PC and have five minutes later your first theorem proven.
All programs distributed within IsaMorph are free software. This means that the operating system and the applications contained in this CD can be freely copied, modified and distributed. So please feel free to give copies to your friends or colleagues.
Insert the CD into the CD drive on an Intel compatible PC or laptop. Now reboot the computer. Ensure that the first boot device is CD. For this, you may have to change the BIOS settings of your computer.
If you are not familiar with it, get help from your system administrator or someone who knows how to do it. As the computer starts booting, it will search for a CD in the drive. A menu will appear after some time.
Just press the Enter key or wait for some time. The computer will continue to boot from the CD and, hopefully, give you a graphical screen similar to what you are familiar with. You can click on the menu at the top left and start applications.
IsaMorph contains a fully working Isabelle environment supporting proving and document generation, this includes:
Isabelle (version 2005)
The interactive theorem prover Isabelle 2005 with at least the following logics compiled in: HOL, HOL-Complex, ZF, FOL, and Pure. Thus, after booting IsaMorph you can immediately prove theorems in any of these logics. The CD includes a offline version of Isabelles tutorials and theory documentation.
HOL-TestGen (version 1.1.1)
A test case generator for specification based unit testing. It is built on top of the specfication and theorem proving environment Isabelle/HOL.
Proof General (version 3.6pre)
A powerful User Interface for Isabelle.
SML of New Jersey (version 110.56)
The Standard ML Environment used for compiling and executing Isabelle.
GNU Emacs (version 22.0.50)
The GNU Emacs editor which builds together with Proof General the main user interface of Isabelle.
teTeX (version 2.0.2)
A complete LaTeX environment used for the generation of proof documents.
Other Applications
In addition, the CD also contains a variety of applications for a common use. It includes a user-friendly desktop (Gnome) an Internet browser (Mozilla), and so on. Just take a look at the menu to find out many more. I tried to minimize the number of non Isabelle specific software to minimize the download size.
Enhancements:
- This is release updates all software on the CD, including all base utilities and all Isabelle related software.
- Particularly, this is the first release featuring the latest Isabelle version (2005), X-Symbol (3.6pre), and also HOL-TestGen (1.1.1).

Free Conquest & Colonization of America 0.07

Free Conquest & Colonization of America 0.07

Free Conquest & Colonization of America is a remake of the old Microprose game Colonization. more>>
Free Conquest & Colonization of America project is a remake of the old Microprose game Colonization.
Free Conquest and Colonization of America is a remake of a fantastic old game from Microprose called Colonization. Those who have played Civilization will find the game style very similar.
In Civilization, the game time goes from pre-history to the future, but in Free Conquest and Colonization of America, all action happens during the exploration age, from 1492 to 1800. The goal of the game is to build a colony in America and make this colony grow big enough to be able to achieve independence from the motherland.
A player can choose among the English, French, Dutch, and Spanish nations, each having its own qualities and problems. During colonization, the player will face many challenges, such as negotiating (and making war, if necessary) with other European colonies and native tribes.
Winning the hearts of the colonists (by making they feel that the colony is their home) is the key to getting enough support to fight for independence. Allowing religious freedom in your colony will attract more colonists persecuted for their faith in Europe.
KEYSTROKES:
Numpad arrows -> movement
SPACE -> new round
W -> change the focus
C -> choose unit (when theres more than one unit in the same square)
E -> see Europe status
F -> fortify
S -> sentry
Q -> quits the game
Enhancements:
- beach shores
- hidden tiles
- the screen now centers on the unit
- indians
